| Can anyone give me a legitimate reason for NOT posting a picture???
Posted: 10/4/2006 12:33:10 PM | marriage, fear of coworkers seeing them, being reconized basicly, umm dont have a camera or scanner?! i dont know, i like seeing a picture if i dont i usually wont respond because i want to see who i'm talking too it makes me more comfortable to do so.
The private picture i dont know. Again the reconizing thing. I dont want people 2 know i'm on here but i say 'screw ball' and put my pic up neways. | |

In that case, you don't need to know what they look like. To me thats a valid reason especially if they make that clear from the 1st. | |

I consider myself attractive (at least above average) but want real substance in a relationship. Physical attraction is ultimately important, but I didn't want it to be what brought me together with someone. I have private pics that I have no problem sharing, and no "secret" reason for not posting my picture along with my profile. | |

Posted: 10/23/2006 3:35:38 PM | There are many reasons for not posting a pic. Some people don't want coworkers to see them on here. Some don't want 50 emails a day. Some don't want their exes to see them on here. Some are unhappy or dissatisfied with their looks. Some are ok with their looks but don't want their looks to be a factor in their new relationship or at least not the main reason for being in a relationship. Someone may be a politician and definitly doesn't want someone to see them on here.
All these I consider legitimate reasons for not posting a pic. | |

- security reasons ( I read that once  )

Posted: 10/29/2006 2:00:19 PM | yeah u find a great instructor and classes in your area...i have two instructors, two classes a week, two different styles of instruction...i love it....
but yeah i'm down now to about 0 - 2 emails a day on average...hahahahaha....and they're usually from men hundreds of miles away or men who are everything i'm not looking for...which leads me to beleive, they're looking at photos and not reading what i've written...
hey that's another good reason...my best friend won't send her pic out til the guy gets to know her and they connect...i think it's risky but that's the way she sees it | |

Posted: 11/6/2006 8:18:23 PM | I'd say mine is pretty valid. I've been teaching now for several years and I can guarantee that the majority of my kids are VERY computer literate. I'd rather avoid the "Miss? Did you post your picture online to get a date? Does it work? Why don't you just go out?" I can almost guarantee I'd be bombarded with questions and the gossip network would probably spread the word like lightening. This is the reason why most teachers usually leave town to go shopping. We're sorta the pseudo parent and the kids can't seem to help asking personal questions and making all kinds of observations based on maybe seeing us somewhere.
I usually just ask anyone who wants my picture to ask and I don't mind showing it - just not post it as my main shot.

With that said, we all might not have the proper tools available, Some are new, some have been here, Give those people a chance to prove the reality of themselves!!!! Stop being bitter from past illutions, and remember each person holds thier own truth!
