When I said to the bartender, "Bartendar, is this the Lucky's with Plenty of Fish?" All he did was smile back and say," Boy, if you is trying be funny, I am gonna throw your ass out of here." So, this time I am using a map. Maybe, I will get Lucky.

Posted: 8/13/2006 5:58:12 PM | Just attended my first one tonight. Had a lot of fun but...I don't really play pool and there wasn't much doing otherwise. I was thinking why not try something in addition to the billiards like trivia contests or something. Get people in teams and ask trivia questions...ones w/ the most right answers wins a prize. Just bring your Trivial Pursuit question box and we'd be set!
Either way, I'll definitely attend another of these...it was fun!  | |

I do want to apologize to those I didn't get to say goodbye to tonite. I received a phone call from my ex - my ex-stepson was beat up today and will be going into surgery tomorrow to repair his broken nose - the drama and hell just NEVER ends for me AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. So to those that I didn't say goodbye to, I'm very sorry but I didn't feel that screaming and yelling inside of Lucky's at my ex was very appropriate, and it was best to leave when I did.
Anyways, great evening, met new and awesome people.

Posted: 8/14/2006 6:11:28 AM | WHOO HOOO!!! Last night was a BLAST!! Out of all of our weekly gatherings, I have missed only ONE - and boy did I need to catch up last night. Had to figure out all the 'inside jokes' and all the shannanigans that transpired last week. WHEW!! I think I'm about up to speed now.
Kareoke was off the HOOK!! Of course I didn't sing... but I was cheering ya guys on (ok, ok... and I was laughing just a little bit too)!!
Some commented that I just wasn't myself yesterday.... SORRY!! I was nursing a hangover and was a wee bit sleep deprived - LMAO!! Saturday is party night - makes it a little tough to party AGAIN on Sunday... but I was a trooper - I really tried to hang with ya'll last night!!
Thanks to Gene, Rob, Jackie Lonie and the all the rest that helped make yesterday happen!! Kareoke was a GREAT idea!!
My Monday's will never be the same thanks to this weekly event (and I'm NOT COMPLAINING, lol)!!
