Apologies. I put in my request before I read your request that we hold off for a while. I've been enjoying the civility and constructive nature of your evaluations of others.

leiam conway,

It's certainly a lot cleaner this time around, although it's still somewhat scattershot. For example, second paragraph, you go from your last serious relationship to where you were born to your favourite sports team to your favourite colours. Find common threads and sort them accordingly.

At the risk of trying to sound "smarter than you", I'm just going to say it out loud...this is something that you should've learned in high school. Mind you, you are on a few favourites lists, so it may not be THAT crucial.

Otherwise, it's much better this time around.

Its Scooter here, patrolling these fish floundering and murky waters of fact versus
fiction. It’s suddenly come to pass my desktop that your pen is writing verbal
cheques your personality and appearance perhaps can't CASH, this is borderline
dishonesty, purely smug and pretentious .....akin to salmon frantically swimming
upstream. I wonder why you are single.

Scooterpants on patrol!

10,000 Miles,

It's not a bad profile by any means. Spelling and grammar are intact, photos are alright, and you give us a good idea about what you like and want.

However, it's not that indistinguishable from a lot of other profiles, and considering the low female-to-male ratio, you want something to make this stand out a little. You can do this by punching it up a little, which would be important, as you do make references to a sense of humour. Tell us a few jokes, make us laugh with the text, post a really goofy picture of yourself, or even tell us a funny anecdote.

Otherwise, you're on the right track.

That Guy Him,

Oh, right. The number-based profile rating system. I almost completely forgot about that.

The profile is certainly interesting, and depicts someone with a sense of humour, a sense of responsibility, and is also intelligent. It is quite well written, all things considered.

However, it's a lot to read at once. While you do add the option of just skipping past the numerology part, there are a lot of people who will likely ignore the profile just based on how much there is to read. Long profiles do give you a lot to work with, but there are a lot of people with really short attention spans that can't be bothered to read so much at once. Just something to consider.

I would also suggest upping the photo variety, as we can't even see your face (although the comment about resembling the emoticon is amusing).

Peace,

mab22,

Short and sweet and gives us all that we need to know. It could benefit from a little more showing than telling, which can usually be achieved with a few anecdotes. Showing us that you have a sense of humour is certainly more effective than telling us, after all.

Just a few minor spelling mistakes (it's spelled "listener") that need to be addressed and you're good to go.

liltruckerboy,

Given the fact that you're a truck driver and certain women would definitely go for that regardless of what's written in the profile, I'm not sure if there's anything I can say that will help or hinder.

A few notes:

-"...and that hair-metal from the 1980's and early 90's that im sure most people would go away." I think you meant "wish would go away."
-there are a few spelling mistakes in the profile that should be addressed (Im = "I'm").
-If you have a good story or anecdote, it wouldn't hurt to share it...just keep it PG13.

multifarious,

Your profile looks familiar...did you make a request on the last thread?

Fairly short and sweet, which is probably okay. Generally speaking, most women don't need as much help on their profiles, unless they're trying to reach a very specific type of individual. However, a few things that might help...

-If you say that you're "funny as hell", the profile had better be too. Toss in a few jokes (and good ones, not lame ones!), a goofy photo, or a really funny anecdote.
-Minor grammatical note...pluralized nouns do not have apostrophes ("pic's" -> "pics").

e_is_for_erica,

I like this profile a lot. It definitely shows that you have a sense of humour and there are some things that did make me laugh, especially in your list of interests. Your weird facts section is amusing (if we ever meet, I'll make a point of wearing a shirt that I've been meaning to toss or donate anyway).

Some improvements I can suggest:

-Just a quick note on spelling and grammar. Given the amount of text, it takes up a relatively small percentage, but it's still worth noting. "Easy-going" is hyphenated and "doesn't" requires an apostrophe.
-Photo variety is okay, although they're mostly closeups. Perhaps photos of you DOING stuff?

Good work,

atmal,

So, I gotta review in rhyme.
Do you have the time?
This profile is fine
and your spelling commits no crime.

This profile shows a dude
With a cool headed 'tude
Who definitely ain't rude
With humour that's crude

A few things to suggest
To make this stand out from the rest
Some photos of you in your best
And leave out the mess

Word up, yo'.

raj2306,

It's a little bit on the sparse side and there isn't much for me to work with. I would suggest proper spelling ("wud" = "would") and avoiding the "Prefer Not To Say" (you either are, aren't, or undecided). As it is, you don't even have anything under your interests section.

Compare to some other profiles and then beef it up a touch. Please consult the guidelines as well.

alyosha,

Considering that you have at least three times more life experiences than I do, I'm a little reluctant to say anything. That, and you're a former professor, which means you probably don't need some punk young enough to be your grandson telling you what to say and do, but then, you *did* ask. What were you professor of, if you don't mind asking? It might not hurt to have that little detail.

It's fairly short and sweet, and if someone is looking for someone in your age bracket, you probably don't have much to worry about. I can't really think of much to add at this point, although I don't really need to tell you that it takes more than a profile to meet people on this site.

Peace,

destinysmommy69,

I'm sure you're aware of the uphill climb that some single moms have to face when it comes to this, so I'll skip past that part. That being said, you sort of *are* expected to put your daughter's welfare and being first and foremost, so it's not really that necessary to remind us.

In regards to your actual profile, you didn't fill out the interests section, which would make your profile a little less searchable. Additionally, you look a little peeved in your main photo. A little more photo variety in general probably wouldn't hurt too much.

Because the profile is so sparse, there are a lot of gaps to be still filled in, which doesn't give us a lot of detail. I would suggest comparing your profile against some of the others and incorporating what you like.

Oh, and last thing...incorporating "69" into your screen name is NOT a good thing.

Good luck,

karlos06,

Three-line profiles don't usually give me a lot to work with, although I do get the impression that you're young-at-heart (the world's rollercoasters comment), fairly intelligent (being an IT guy probably requires that), but beyond that, I don't got much.

A few more interests would make your profile a little more searchable, but I would suggest beefing your about me section. Anything -- anecdotes, jokes...

Well Scooterpants or whoever you are. Dishonesty is a big word on your palate. In order to comment as such to anyone you should first remember that you are an imposter and advertise yourself as someone else. Smug and prtentious! Un believable! Wht do you need to hide behind someone else if you don't have any thing to hide.

Alrighty, stepping to the plate, no need to comment on photos. Cenus is they suck, but I personally don't think so, so they stay as is.

Just curious about the written part, thank you for your time.
