| Pearl Jam~~~Backspacer~~~The End Posted: 9/22/2009 1:30:44 PM | What were all those dreams we shared those many years ago? What were all those plans we made now left beside the road? Behind us in the road
More than friends, I always pledged cause friends they come and go People change, as does everything I wanted to grow old I just want to grow old
Slide up next to me I'm just a human being I will take the blame But just the same this is not me
You see? Believe...
I'm better than this Don't leave me so cold I'm buried beneath the stones I just want to hold on I know I'm worth your love
Enough... I don't think there's such a thing
It's my fault now Having caught a sickness in my bones How it pains to leave you here With the kids on your own Just don't let me go
Help me see myself cause I can no longer tell Looking out from the inside of the bottom of a well
It's hell... I yell...
But no one hears before I disappear whisper in my ear Give me something to echo in my unknown future's ear
My dear... The end comes near... I'm here... But not much longer.

| Your Favorite Music Lyrics Posted: 9/22/2009 1:58:31 PM | Angels on the sideline, Puzzled and amused. Why did Father give these humans free will? Now they're all confused.
Don't these talking monkeys know that Eden has enough to go around? Plenty in this holy garden, silly monkeys Where there's one you're bound to divide it right in two.
Angels on the sideline, Baffled and confused. Father blessed them all with reason, And this is what they choose?
Monkey killing monkey killing monkey over pieces of the ground. Silly monkeys. Give them thumbs, they forge a blade, And where there's one they're bound to divide it right in two.
Monkey killing monkey killing monkey over pieces of the ground. Silly monkeys. Give them thumbs, they make a club to beat their brother down. How they've survived so misguided is a mystery. Repugnant is a creature who would squander the ability To lift an eye to heaven, conscious of his fleeting time here.
Gotta divide it all right in two.
Fight till they die over sun, over sky, They fight till they die over sea, over air, They fight till they die over blood, over love, They fight till they die over words, polarizing.
Angels on the sideline again, Benched along with patience and reason. Angels on the sideline again, Wondering where this tug of war will end.
Gotta divide it all right in two.

| Your Favorite Music Lyrics Posted: 9/22/2009 7:37:50 PM | I would have to say that out of all of the music ever written, there is one song that is very fitting for most all people here on plenty of fish. Heart of the matter... from Don Henley tells about those things that, in one way or another, helped most of us wind up here. | |

| Your Favorite Music Lyrics Posted: 9/22/2009 8:25:24 PM | someone recently suggested that i cover this tune... i think i have to... it's hysterical!
Not Fair - Lily Allen
Oh, he treats me with respect, he says he loves me all the time He calls me fifteen times a day, he likes to make sure that I'm fine You know I've never met a man who's made me feel quite so secure He's not like all them other boys, they're all so dumb and immature
There's just one thing that's getting in the way When we go up to bed, you're just no good, it's such a shame I look into your eyes, I want to get to know you And then you make this noise and it's apparent it's all over
It's not fair and I think you're really mean I think you're really mean, I think you're really mean Oh, you're suppose to care But you never make me scream, you never make me scream
Oh, it's not fair and it's really not okay It's really not okay, it's really not okay Oh, you're supposed to care But all you do is take, yeah, all you do is take
Oh, I lie here in the wet patch in the middle of the bed I'm feeling pretty damn hard done by, I spent ages giving head Then I remember all the nice things that you ever said to me Maybe I'm just overreacting, maybe you're the one for me
There's just one thing that's getting in the way When we go up to bed, you're just no good, it's such a shame I look into your eyes, I want to get to know you And then you make this noise and it's apparent it's all over
It's not fair and I think you're really mean I think you're really mean, I think you're really mean Oh, you're supposed to care But you never make me scream, you never make me scream
Oh, it's not fair and it's really not okay It's really not okay, it's really not okay Oh, you're supposed to care But all you do is take, yeah, all you do is take
There's just one thing that's getting in the way When we go up to bed, you're just no good, it's such a shame I look into your eyes, I want to get to know you And then you make this noise and it's apparent it's all over
It's not fair and I think you're really mean I think you're really mean, I think you're really mean Oh, you're supposed to care But you never make me scream, you never make me scream
Oh, it's not fair and it's really not okay It's really not okay, it's really not okay Oh, you're supposed to care But all you do is take, yeah, all you do is take

| Your Favorite Music Lyrics Posted: 9/23/2009 9:01:37 AM | This is the trailer song for "Where The Wild Things Are" ... Loved the book and can't wait to see the movie!
Wake Up - by Arcade Fire
Somethin’ filled up my heart with nothin’, someone told me not to cry.
But now that I’m older, my heart’s colder, and I can see that it’s a lie.
Children wake up, hold your mistake up, before they turn the summer into dust.
If the children don’t grow up, our bodies get bigger but our hearts get torn up. We’re just a million little god’s causin rain storms turnin’ every good thing to rust.
I guess we’ll just have to adjust.
With my lighnin’ bolts a glowin’ I can see where I am goin’ to be when the reaper he reaches and touches my hand.
With my lighnin’ bolts a glowin’ I can see where I am goin’ With my lighnin’ bolts a glowin’ I can see where I am go-goin’
You better look out below!

| 3 Doors Down ~ Away From the Sun Posted: 9/23/2009 9:21:58 PM | It's down to this I've got to make this life make sense Can anyone tell what I've done I miss the life I miss the colours of the world Can anyone tell where I am
'Cause now again I've found myself So far down, away from the sun That shines into the darkest place I'm so far down, away from the sun again Away from the sun again
I'm over this I'm tired of living in the dark Can anyone see me down here The feeling's gone There's nothing left to lift me up Back into the world I know
And now again I've found myself So far down, away from the sun That shines into the darkest place I'm so far down, away from the sun That shines to light the way for me To find my way back into the arms That care about the ones like me I'm so far down, away from the sun again
It's down to this I've got to make this life make sense And now I can't tell what I've done
And now again I've found myself So far down, away from the sun That shines to light the way for me
'Cause now again I've found myself So far down, away from the sun That shines into the darkest place I'm so far down, away from the sun That shines to light the way for me To find my way back into the arms That care about the ones like me I'm so far down, away from the sun again
Oh no... Yeah... I'm gone...

| Jethro Tull......................................................................................... Posted: 9/24/2009 8:53:32 AM | "Thick As A Brick"... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Really don't mind if you sit this one out. My words but a whisper -- your deafness a SHOUT. I may make you feel but I can't make you think. Your sperm's in the gutter -- your love's in the sink. So you ride yourselves over the fields and you make all your animal deals and your wise men don't know how it feels to be thick as a brick. And the sand-castle virtues are all swept away in the tidal destruction the moral melee. The elastic retreat rings the close of play as the last wave uncovers the newfangled way. But your new shoes are worn at the heels and your suntan does rapidly peel and your wise men don't know how it feels to be thick as a brick.
And the love that I feel is so far away: I'm a bad dream that I just had today -- and you shake your head and say it's a shame.
Spin me back down the years and the days of my youth. Draw the lace and black curtains and shut out the whole truth. Spin me down the long ages: let them sing the song.
See there! A son is born -- and we pronounce him fit to fight. There are black-heads on his shoulders, and he pees himself in the night. We'll make a man of him put him to trade teach him to play Monopoly not to sing in the rain.
The Poet and the painter casting shadows on the water -- as the sun plays on the infantry returning from the sea. The do-er and the thinker: no allowance for the other -- as the failing light illuminates the mercenary's creed. The home fire burning: the kettle almost boiling -- but the master of the house is far away. The horses standing -- their warm breath clouding in the sharp and frosty morning of the day. And the poet lifts his pen while the soldier sheaths his sword.
And the youngest of the family is moving with authority. Building castles by the sea, he dares the tardy tide to wash them all aside.
The cattle quietly grazing at the grass down by the river where the swelling mountain water moves onward to the sea: the builder of the castles renews the age-old purpose and contemplates the milking girl whose offer is his need. The young men of the household have all gone into service and are not to be expected for a year. The innocent young master -- thoughts moving ever faster -- has formed the plan to change the man he sees. And the poet sheaths his pen while the soldier lifts his sword.
And the oldest of the family is moving with authority. A-coming from across the sea, he challenges the son who puts him to the run.
What do you do when the old man's gone -- do you want to be him? And your real self sings the song. Do you want to free him? No one to help you get up steam -- and the whirlpool turns you `way off-beam.
LATER. I've come down from the upper class to mend your rotten ways. My father was a man-of-power whom everyone obeyed. So come on all you criminals! I've got to put you straight just like I did with my old man -- twenty years too late. Your bread and water's going cold. Your hair is too short and neat. I'll judge you all and make damn sure that no-one judges me.
You curl your toes in fun as you smile at everyone. You meet the stares; you're unaware that your doings aren't done. And you laugh most ruthlessly as you tell us what not to be. But how are we supposed to see where we should run? I see you shuffle in the courtroom with your rings upon your fingers and your downy little sidies and your silver-buckle shoes. Playing at the hard case, you follow the example of the comic-paper idol who lets you bend the rules.
So! Come on ye childhood heroes! Won't you rise up from the pages of your comic-books, your super crooks and show us all the way. Well! Make your will and testament. Won't you join your local government? We'll have Superman for president let Robin save the day.
You put your bet on number one and it comes up every time. The other kids have all backed down and they put you first in line. And so you finally ask yourself just how big you are -- and take your place in a wiser world of bigger motor cars. And you wonder who to call on.
So! Where the hell was Biggles when you needed him last Saturday? And where were all the sportsmen who always pulled you though? They're all resting down in Cornwall -- writing up their memoirs for a paper-back edition of the Boy Scout Manual.
LATER. See there! A man born -- and we pronounce him fit for peace. There's a load lifted from his shoulders with the discovery of his disease. We'll take the child from him put it to the test teach it to be a wise man how to fool the rest.
QUOTE We will be geared to the average rather than the exceptional God is an overwhelming responsibility we walked through the maternity ward and saw 218 babies wearing nylons cats are on the upgrade upgrade? Hipgrave. Oh, Mac.
LATER In the clear white circles of morning wonder, I take my place with the lord of the hills. And the blue-eyed soldiers stand slightly discoloured (in neat little rows) sporting canvas frills. With their jock-straps pinching, they slouch to attention, while queueing for sarnies at the office canteen. Saying -- how's your granny and good old Ernie: he coughed up a tenner on a premium bond win. The legends (worded in the ancient tribal hymn) lie cradled in the seagull's call. And all the promises they made are ground beneath the sadist's fall. The poet and the wise man stand behind the gun, and signal for the crack of dawn. Light the sun.
Do you believe in the day? Do you? Believe in the day! The Dawn Creation of the Kings has begun. Soft Venus (lonely maiden) brings the ageless one. Do you believe in the day? The fading hero has returned to the night -- and fully pregnant with the day, wise men endorse the poet's sight. Do you believe in the day? Do you? Believe in the day!
Let me tell you the tales of your life of your love and the cut of the knife the tireless oppression the wisdom instilled the desire to kill or be killed. Let me sing of the losers who lie in the street as the last bus goes by. The pavements ar empty: the gutters run red -- while the fool toasts his god in the sky.
So come all ye young men who are building castles! Kindly state the time of the year and join your voices in a hellish chorus. Mark the precise nature of your fear. Let me help you pick up your dead as the sins of the father are fed with the blood of the fools and the thoughts of the wise and from the pan under your bed. Let me make you a present of song as the wise man breaks wind and is gone while the fool with the hour-glass is cooking his goose and the nursery rhyme winds along.
So! Come all ye young men who are building castles! Kindly state the time of the year and join your voices in a hellish chorus. Mark the precise nature of your fear. See! The summer lightning casts its bolts upon you and the hour of judgement draweth near. Would you be the fool stood in his suit of armour or the wiser man who rushes clear. So! Come on ye childhood heroes! Won't your rise up from the pages of your comic-books your super-crooks and show us all the way. Well! Make your will and testament. Won't you? Join your local government. We'll have Superman for president let Robin save the day. So! Where the hell was Biggles when you needed him last Saturday? And where were all the sportsmen who always pulled you through? They're all resting down in Cornwall -- writing up their memoirs for a paper-back edition of the Boy Scout Manual.
OF COURSE So you ride yourselves over the fields and you make all your animal deals and your wise men don't know how it feels to be thick as a brick.

| Crash Test Dummies ~ The Psychic Posted: 9/24/2009 9:52:05 PM | She knows the future like the palm in your hand She knows your past like the lay of the land The first time she met me she saw right through me Some cards and a cane in her hand - and she said:
All the years that have come to pass And all the years that shall be I see here right before me
She said her visions were a bane in her life She could not control them, they kept her up nights I know what you're thinking, I haven't been drinking She knew things that cut like a knife - and she said:
All the years that have come to pass And all the years that shall be I see here right before me
Will there be earthquakes and great tidal waves? Can she see back to the dinosaur days? How can she foresee just by squinting at me and Can she see me naked in her mind's eye?
What does she think when she foretells a disease? Would she keep it a secret if death stood before me? What could some cards hold, where is her foothold Can I escape what she sees? And she said:
All the years that have come to pass And all the years that shall be I see here right before me I see here before me

| rod stewart Posted: 9/25/2009 11:54:56 PM | I didn't know what day it was When you walked into the room I said hello unnoticed You said goodbye too soon
Breezing through the clientele Spinning yarns that were so lyrical I really must confess right here The attraction was purely physical
I took all those habits of yours That in the beginning were hard to accept Your fashion sense, beardsly prints I put down to experience
The big bosomed lady with the dutch accent Who tried to change my point of view Her ad lib lines were well rehearsed But my heart cried out for you
Chorus:
You're in my heart, you're in my soul You'll be my breath should i grow old You are my lover, you're my best friend You're in my soul
My love for you is immeasurable My respect for you immense You're ageless, timeless, lace and fineness You're beauty and elegance
You're a rhapsody, a comedy You're a symphony and a play You're every love song ever written But honey what do you see in me
(chorus)
You're an essay in glamour Please pardon the grammar But you're every schoolboy's dream You're celtic, united, but baby i've decided You're the best team i've ever seen
And there have been many affairs Many times i've thought to leave But i bite my lip and turn around 'cause you're the warmest thing i've ever found

| What About Me? Posted: 9/27/2009 9:10:32 AM | by: Quicksilver Messenger Service
(Released December of 1970)
You poisoned my sweet water. You cut down my green trees. The food you fed my children Was the cause of their disease.
My world is slowly fallin' down And the airs not good to breathe. And those of us who care enough, We have to do something.......
(Chorus) Oh.......oh What you gonna do about me? Oh.......oh What you gonna do about me?
Your newspapers, They just put you on. They never tell you The whole story.
They just put your Young ideas down. I was wonderin' could this be the end Of your pride and glory?
(Chorus)
I work in your factory. I study in your schools. I fill your penitentiaries. And your military too!
And I feel the future trembling, As the word is passed around. "If you stand up for what you do believe, Be prepared to be shot down."
(Chorus)
And I feel like a stranger In the land where I was born And I live like an outlaw. An' I'm always on the run..........................
An Im always getting busted And I got to take a stand........ I believe the revolution Must be mighty close at hand.......................
(Chorus)
I smoke marijuana But I cant get behind your wars. And most of what I do believe Is against most of your laws
I'm a fugitive from injustice But I'm goin' to be free. Cause your rules and regulations They dont do the thing for me
(Chorus)
And I feel like a stranger In the land where I was born And I live just like an outlaw. An' I'm always on the run.

| Saving Abel ~ 18 Days Posted: 9/27/2009 7:35:18 PM | Its been 18 days Since I'd look at myself I don't wanna have to change If I don't then no one will Is it my state of mind Or is it just everything else I don't wanna have to be here I don't understand it now
Cause its been 18 days Since I first held you But to me it feels just like It feels like a lifetime I'm trying hard to re-arrange Some say its the hardest thing to do But that's another 18 days Without you..
Time after time I've been through this You show me what it means to live You give me hope when I was hopeless As my days fade to night I remember that state of mind I'm soaring straight into your heart And I'll fly high
Cause it's been 18 days Since I first held you But to me it feels just like It feels like a lifetime I'm trying hard to re-arrange Some say it's the hardest thing to do But that's just too many days Without you
And I know what they say About all good things Will they come to an end But I'll fight this time So that we might Have a chance at this
Cause it's been 18 days Since I'd look at myself I don't wanna have to change If I don't then no one will
Cause its been too many days Since I first held you But to me it feels just like It feel like a lifetime I'm trying hard to re-arrange Some say it's the hardest thing to do But that's just too many days without you
And I know what they say About all good things Will they come to an end But I'll fight this time So that we might Have a chance at this..

| Kid Rock~~~Amen Posted: 9/27/2009 8:12:29 PM | It's another night in hell Another child won't live to tell Can you imagine what it's like to starve to death
And as we sit free and well Another soldier has to yell Tell my wife and children I love them in his last breath
C'mon now ame...n, amen, amen
Habitual offenders, scumbag lawyers with agendas I'll tell you sometimes people I don't know what's worse Natural disasters or these wolves in sheep clothes pastors Now God damn it I'm scared to send my children to church And how can we seek salvation when our nations race relations Got me feeling guilty of being white But faith in human nature, our creator and our savior, I'm no saint But I believe in what is right
C'mon now amen, amen I said amen, amen
Stop pointing fingers and take some blame, Pull your future away from the flame Open up your mind and start to live Stop short changing your neighbors Living off hand outs and favors, and maybe Give a little bit more than you got to give
Simplify, testify, identify, rectify And if I get high stop being so uptight It's only human nature and I am not a stranger So baby won't you stay with me tonight
When a calls away to break the sound I'm faden down, I need someone Oh to be someone They just sinken down, and holden back I hold the dawn and run They don't save a child Oh, to save a child
It's a matter of salvation from them patience up above, So don't give up so damn easy on the one you love, one you love Somewhere you got a brother, sister, friend, grandmother, niece or nephew Just dying to be with you You know there's someone out there who unconditionally, religiously, loves you So just hold on 'cause you know it's true And if you can take the pain And you can withstand anything, and one day Stand hand in hand with the truth
I said amen, I said amen I said amen, I said amen,
Amen | |

When I die, let them judge me by my company of friends Let them know me as the footprints that I left upon the sand Let them laugh for all the laughter Let them cry for laughter’s end But when I die, let them judge me by my company of friends
When I die, let them toast to all the things that I believe Let them raise a glass to consciousness And not spill a drop for grief Let the bubbles rise at midnight Let their tongues get light as thieves And when I die, let them toast to all the things that I believe
I believe in restless hunger I believe in red balloons I believe in private thunder In the end I do believe
I believe in inspiration I believe in lightning bugs I believe in slow creation In the end I do believe
I believe in ink on paper I believe in lips on ears I believe what’s shared is savored In the end I do believe
I believe in work on Sundays I believe in raising barns I believe in wasting Mondays In the end I do believe
I believe in intuition I believe in being wrong I believe in contradiction In the end I do believe
I believe in living smitten I believe all hearts will mend I believe our book is written By our company of friends

| Your Favorite Music Lyrics Posted: 9/29/2009 8:33:09 AM | It's like she wrote this song with me in mind. It fits my life...perfectly. For now, at least. *hopeful*
"Soulmate" - Natasha Bedingfield
Incompatible, it don't matter though 'Cause someone's bound to hear my cry. Speak out if you do. You're not easy to find.
Is it possible Mr. Loveable Is already in my life? Right in front of me Or maybe you're in disguise.
Who doesn't long for someone to hold? Who knows how to love you without being told. Somebody tell me why I'm on my own If there's a soulmate for everyone?
Here we are again, circles never end. How do I find the perfect fit? There's enough for everyone But I'm still waiting in line.
Who doesn't long for someone to hold? Who knows how to love you without being told. Somebody tell me why I'm on my own If there's a soulmate for everyone?
If there's a soulmate for everyone.
Most relationships seem so transitory. They're all good but not the permanent one.
Who doesn't long for someone to hold? Who knows how to love you without being told. Somebody tell me why I'm on my own If there's a soulmate for everyone?
Who doesn't long for someone to hold? Who knows how to love you without being told. Somebody tell me why I'm on my own If there's a soulmate for everyone? If there's a soulmate for everyone.
*sigh* She took the words right out of my mouth.

| Your Favorite Music Lyrics Posted: 9/29/2009 10:37:46 AM | Good song - great lyric
There are soul mates out there I believe. Heck someone's ex may have been it and it didn't work out for whatever reason. Is there another? Yes IMO.
I've noticed being older now, married for many many years and now single for about 8 years - people, woman in my case because I'm a male, have these "lists" of what they "want" in a person to date or marry.
What I am pretty sure of - love isn't coming to those with a list of "what I want" in a mate, date let alone spouse. Not only love won't show up, but neither a relationship or friendship. A list allows us to reject - capriciously IMO. And I find so many have a list.. "He/She doesn't meet A, B, C" - sorry you're not for me… Lists can not and never will find a person love.
Enjoy the song. The whole album is good. Heres the video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEzbkGj7EaQ
A lyric certainly can remind us what are looking for or feeling that's for sure.

| I ain't puttin' that in my browser.. Posted: 9/29/2009 11:33:19 AM | I'll toss up some stray cat's lyrics though:
Black and Orange stray cats sittin' on a fence Ain't got enough dough to pay the rent I'm flat broke but I don't care I strut right by with my tail in the air
Stray cat strut, I'm a crazy cat I'm a feline Casanova, hey man that's that Got a shoe thrown at me by a mean old man Get my dinner from a garbage can
I don't bother chasin' mice around, Oh no I slink down the alley lookin' for a fight Howlin' to the moonlight on a hot summer's night
I sing the blues while the lady cats cry Wow, stray catty you're a real gone guy
I wish I could be so carefree and wild But I got cat class and I got cat style

No time for a summer friend No time for the love you send Seasons change and so did I You need not wonder why You need not wonder why There's no time left for you No time left for you.
No time left for you On my way to better things No time left for you I'll find myself some wings No time left for you Distant roads are calling me No time left for you.
No time for a gentle rain No time for my watch and chain No time for revolving doors No time for the killing floor No time for the killing floor There's no time left for you No time left for you.
No time for a summer friend No time for the love you send Seasons change and so did I You need not wonder why You need not wonder why There's no time left for you No time left for you.

| The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus ~ Face Down Posted: 9/30/2009 7:58:22 PM | October starts Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This song is pretty appropriate for that cause (which I fully support).
Hey girl, you know you drive me crazy One look puts the rhythm in my hand Still I'll never understand why you hang around I see what's going down
Cover up with make-up in the mirror Tell yourself it's never gonna happen again You cry alone and then he Swears he loves you
Do you feel like a man When you push her around? Do you feel better now As she falls to the ground? Well I'll tell you, my friend One day, this world's got to end As your lies crumble down A new life she has found
A pebble in the water makes a ripple effect Every action in this world will bear a consequence If you wade around forever you will surely drown I see what's going down
I see the way you go and say you're right again Say you're right again Heed my lecture
Do you feel like a man When you push her around? Do you feel better now As she falls to the ground? Well I'll tell you, my friend One day, this world's got to end As your lies crumble down A new life she has found-
Scream: One day she will tell you that she has enough It's coming round again One day she will tell you that she has enough He's coming round again
Do you feel like a man when you push her around? Do you feel better now As she falls to the ground? Well I'll tell you, my friend One day, this world's got to end As your lies crumble down a new life she has found-
Face down in the dirt She said this doesn't hurt She said I've finally had enough Face down in the dirt She said this doesn't hurt She said I've finally had enough

| Barbeque By Animal Liberation Orchestra (ALO) Posted: 10/1/2009 6:23:40 PM | Barbeque
The road is long and windy Like a good mystery unfolding It twists and turns In colorful subplots and sunburns And fake out endings And sometimes my patience in the whole process starts bending
As I attempt to unravel the web By rehearsing and reversing and perversing and traversing Along the doubt laden extension chord threads Of my life
And in this life we're free to dream what ever we want to But that doesn’t' mean that your dreams are gonna come true Instead as a way of getting us to move Life dangles your dreams in front of you And unable to resist the temptation We continue
And it's clear to me that this life is gonna be All about the dangling possibilities that keep turning in and turning out
Yes it's clear to me that this life is gonna be all About the dangling possibilities that keep turning in... The road is long and windy Full of twists and turns But before you can rise from the ashes You've got to burn baby burn
Welcome to your Barbecue Where we roast all the dreams that never came true Welcome to your Barbecue Pig out and dream a new
Welcome to you're, welcome to you're, welcome to you're barbecue...

| No Roses, No Skies - Have Heart Posted: 10/1/2009 6:38:27 PM | She's a song unsung She's the wild orchid in your ugly swamp She's a song unsung And only the white walls of her mind know what that song sounds like.
The pills, the pills and Dr.'s promises just ain't doing the trick cause the arms of nothing she falls asleep in can still bring the razor to the wrist.
The TV screens, the magazines scream at you like the dogs of hell advertising and advising you to be anyone but your beautiful self.
Prince Charming never brought you flowers, just a loveless lifetime all alone. No roses for you, just unlocked doors, and the deafening silence of your phone.
So block your ears, close your eyes, remember that you're a golden soul fallen from the boring, heartless, Hollywood herd of lies that they call:
Beautiful.
With no shoulder, no hand, no body, no man, no door, no heart to let you:
The sun can take too long to end the endless night
I hear you, I feel you, I bleed with you when our hearts begin to scream:
This life can feel too long.
But at night you're dancing through the pain even when you're the only one. No rose, no sky as full of beauty as the girl who dies but rises with every morning's sun, alone.
She dances alone Alone - so beautiful Alone - her own romance; Alone - Lady Lazarus' life sustaining dance.

| The Perfect Space ~ The Avett Brothers Posted: 10/2/2009 10:06:38 PM |
Album: I And Love And You Year: 2009 Title: The Perfect Space
I wanna have friends that I can trust, that love me for the man I've become not the man I was. I wanna have friends that will let me be all alone when being alone is all that I need.
I wanna fit in to the perfect space, feel natural and safe in a volatile place. And I wanna grow old without the pain, give my body back to the earth and not complain. Will you understand when I am too old of a man? And will you forget when we have paid our debt who did we borrow from? Who did we borrow from?
Okay part two now clear the house. The party's over take the shouting and the people, get out!
I have some business and a promise that I have to hold to. I do not care what you assume or what the people told you. Will you understand, when I am too old of a man? Will you forget when we have paid our debts, who did we borrow from? Who did borrow from?
I wanna have pride like my mother has, And not like the kind in the bible that turns you bad. And I wanna have friends that I can trust, that love me for the man I've become and not the man that I was

FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND LYRICS
"Rookie Of The Year"
The promise that he made Left broken on the floor The bruise left round your heart Left you begging for more
The promise that he made Left broken on the floor The bruise left round your heart Left you begging for more Left you begging for more
THANK YOU for making me WORTHLESS in your eyes In hope and desperation I'll find my only light In your white wedding dress your white wedding dress
THANK YOU for making this THE BEST DAY of my life In hope and desperation I'll find my only light In your white wedding dress your white wedding dress
And in the mess of all we've seen I am open to everything And time will, will take us all and Drown us in it's wake And clearly I will stay and wipe the blood from Your white wedding dress and wipe the blood from Your white wedding dress and wipe the blood from Your .........

Father Figure by george michael
That's all I wanted, something special, Something sacred in your eyes, For just one moment, to be bold and naked At your side
Sometimes I think that you'll never understand me Maybe this time is forever, say it can be
That's all you wanted, something special, Someone sacred in your life Just for one moment, to be warm and naked At my side
Sometimes I think that you'll never understand me But something tells me together, we'd be happy
I will be your father figure (Oh baby) Put your tiny hand in mine (I'd love to) I will be your preacher teacher (Be your daddy) Anything you have in mind (It would make me) I will be your father figure (Very happy) I have had enough of crime (Please let me) I will be the one who loves you till the end of time
That's all I wanted But sometimes love can be mistaken for a crime That's all I wanted just to see my baby's blue EYES shine This time I think that my lover understands me If we have faith in each other Then we can be strong
I will be your father figure Put your tiny hand in mine I will be your preacher teacher Anything you have in mind I will be your father figure I have had enough of crime I will be the one who loves you till the end of time
If you are the desert, I'll be the sea If you ever hunger - hunger for me Whatever you ask for, that's what I'll be
So when you remember the ones who have lied Who said that they cared But then laughed as you cried Beautiful darling, don't think of me
Because all I ever wanted It's in your eyes baby, baby And love can't lie, no... (Greet me with the eyes of a child) My love is always telling me so (Heaven is a kiss and a smile) Just hold on, hold on I won't let you go, my baby
I will be your father figure Put your tiny hand in mine I will be your preacher teacher Anything you have in mind I will be your father figure I have had enough of crime So I am gonna love you till the end of time I will be your father I will be your preacher I'll be your daddy I will be the one who loves you till the end of time

| Modest Mouse ~ The World At Large Posted: 10/3/2009 10:00:45 AM | Songwriters: Gallucci, Dann; Judy, Eric; Brock, Isaac
Ice-age heat wave, can't complain. If the world's at large, why should I remain? Walked away to another plan. Gonna find another place, maybe one I can stand. I move on to another day, to a whole new town with a whole new way. Went to the porch to have a thought. Got to the door and again, I couldn't stop. You don't know where and you don't know when. But you still got your words and you got your friends. Walk along to another day. Work a little harder, work another way.
Well uh-uh baby I ain't got no plan. We'll float on maybe would you understand? Gonna float on maybe would you understand? Well I'll float on maybe would you understand?
The days get shorter and the nights get cold. I like the autumn but this place is getting old. I pack up my belongings and I head for the coast. It might not be a lot but I feel like I'm making the most. The day's get longer and the nights smell green. I guess it's not surprising but it's spring and I should leave.
I like songs about drifters - books about the same. They both seem to make me feel a little less insane. Walked on off to another spot. I still haven't got anywhere that I want. Did I want love? Did I need to know? Why does it always feel like I'm caught in an undertow?
The moths beat themselves to death against the lights. Adding their breeze to the summer nights. Outside, water like air was great. I didn't know what I had that day. Walk a little farther to another plan. You said that you did, but you didn't understand.
I know that starting over is not what life's all about. But my thoughts were so loud, I couldn't hear my mouth. My thoughts were so loud, I couldn't hear my mouth. My thoughts were so loud.

| Bobby McFerrin - Don't Worry Be Happy Posted: 10/3/2009 3:03:15 PM | the best song on this earth.... _____________________________________________________________ Here is a little song I wrote You might want to sing it note for note Don't worry be happy In every life we have some trouble When you worry you make it double Don't worry, be happy......
Ain't got no place to lay your head Somebody came and took your bed Don't worry, be happy The land lord say your rent is late He may have to litigate Don't worry, be happy Lood at me I am happy Don't worry, be happy Here I give you my phone number When you worry call me I make you happy Don't worry, be happy Ain't got no cash, ain't got no style Ain't got not girl to make you smile But don't worry be happy Cause when you worry Your face will frown And that will bring everybody down So don't worry, be happy (now).....
There is this little song I wrote I hope you learn it note for note Like good little children Don't worry, be happy Listen to what I say In your life expect some trouble But when you worry You make it double Don't worry, be happy...... Don't worry don't do it, be happy Put a smile on your face Don't bring everybody down like this Don't worry, it will soon past Whatever it is Don't worry, be happy

| Jorne Lande - Black Song Posted: 10/3/2009 9:31:20 PM | I'm gonna fight even though my life is burning everything's gonna be all right even if there's no returning
In silence I'm watching I feel the world around So restless staring deeper in the night
Like a far away sun when the fire is low Like a fading star I'm burning out in the cold Crying in my blacksong
I'm lonely - Aging faster down the road Only in my dreams I'm hiding Till I'm buried naked and old
I'm waiting... watching I see the world around Forever reaching deeper for the light
Like a faraway sun when the fire is low I'm a fading star burning out in the cold And I'm crying out my blacksong
Distant kingdoms like sparks on the sky So many visions they come to you and I The shine of the future gives no hint of peace For this torn world there can be no release Hold on... and all that is beautiful dies Hold on... I'm standing here asking you why Hold on... I must believe to rise in the blaze But I'm tired in me running blind in the haze Hold on... and everything powerful fades Hold on... all that is young will age Hold on... touched by evil darker than coil No salvation for the warrior soul But I'll keep on fighting... coming home... oh yeah Crying in my blacksong
In a faraway sun when the fire is low Just a glowing star fading out in the cold Dying with my blacksong
Black... black... turning black Crying in my blacksong Crying in my blacksong
