| The connection! That spark! Real or not?
Posted: 11/26/2006 8:34:48 AM | Of the last 3 yrs I've been dating almost every woman says to me.. There has to be that instance spark, that connection.. REALLY!! I ask them all the same question.. Your divorced, etc.. Correct.. Did you have that spark, connection with your last lover.. They say ,O yes. And now your no longer together.. Seems to me "spark, connection" are not real.. Ladies am I wrong?? | |

Those instants sparks fizzle out really quick......it's when you build a slow burning fire over time that it will eventually turn into a nice sized fire that will provide you warmth for a long time to come........
I think at times though we must take steps to bring the person to us or us to them, simply sitting back and hoping it will just happen is going to bring us absolutely nothing. If someone is presented to you and you believe they are the one, take ever step possible to make it real. | |

No, serioulsy....I don't know if I believe in fate...but I do believe in faith....it takes a lot to believe in it....it's believing the unknown,unexplained,uncertain future.. .. it's not tangilbe...you can't see it....smell it.....taste it.....or touch it but you know it exists.. .. I guess with that being said...I "do" believe in fate...there's a perfect partner out there his name just happens to be "faith"....why faith you ask....um did you read what I said about it...

Posted: 11/26/2006 1:51:49 PM | I agree with serendipityone......i believe that we do create our own realities......i believe that everyone comes into your life for a reason and they are all sacred contracts....if it for a season or for life.......we are all students and teachers.........and when we are ready.....the right person comes into your life at the right time.......i think that its all about your belief system........create what u like in your life  | |

Posted: 11/26/2006 7:36:37 PM | People seem to be misunderstanding what fate is really about. Fate isn't about sitting around on your ass and doing nothing for you entire life because everything is "meant to happen" to you, so you don't have to work for it...no no.
Fate is that one second where you get a bad feeling, and don't stop at the bank, on the way home, only to find out it got robbed. Fate is that one day that you take a different way home, and there was a ten car pile up or something.
Fate is a little nudge in the right direction, is all. So yes, I do think that fate will guide me to that person....and that person to me. In the end, a relationship works because of the effort and sacrifice put into it, of course. Fate is just what might help to start it.

Spent a few months telling her I was bad relationship risk but on we went. Funny thing, I'd go through it all again even if the somewhat sad endings had to be the same. I may well be a lost cause. Ah, but that's the way it goes. First your money, then your clothes. | |

Posted: 11/27/2006 11:52:00 AM | Yes i believe in fate and destiny but i also believe we are responsible for doing what we can in helping things along as in the mtn wont come to us we have to go to the mtn,we cant sit back and think that everything will be dropped in our laps so if we are alone and lonely we only have ourselves to blame not fate or destiny for our soulmates may be just around the next corner and if we dont go there we would never know what we missed,,,Make any sense??? You make your own fate. There is no mysterious other force pushing you this way or that way.
I just remembered some good songs...

In other words, we humans build our paths and choose the life we want to live. Did "Fate" put your wife there? Why are you divorced then? I thought you said "that person" into my life. The so called "One". Someone explain to me if "Fate" is meant for "The One" or just "A Woman" I could probably divorce 10 years later. No no, my parents are married for 50 years now. I have divorced twice. Seems "Fate" glued my parents together, but what the hell is wrong with me then, I'm their son/daughter, for christ sakes!! I should have inherited the same "Fate"!!

I had never believed in fate til recently.
I had often sat around and wondered if I was going to be some 90 yr old bitty thats all alone.
But I found the most amazing guy!
And I started to believe it was fate!
Actually you know what, it IS fate! He is everything I could have ever asked for in a man, sweet, caring, witty, intelligent, funny as hell, and incredibly gorgeous... and I couldnt have asked for anything better.
SO YES!!!! I DO BELIEVE IN FATE! | |
