What do you regret

I don't think I really regret anything (duh, sorry, I know the thread title clear asks for 'what do you regret' - but it's not worth starting a 'things you don't regret, but perhaps you should' thread.

Anyway, there's stuff that perhaps I should regret (nothing too serious) but if I've made mistakes, hopefully I've learned from them and in turn - I'm better off for it and little more wiser. So that's why I don't really have regrets. Of course, as I say, I've not really done anything too bad - yet!

my late dad always said never regret anything, whats meant to be will happen, and what isnt wont.....its all part of having choices, and the decisions you make.

I don't have any regrets about my life . I look upon it as a book and I live each chapter as I enter it. Re-reading's ok but you can't change anything. I do sometimes wonder how my life would be had I made different choices but definitely don't reget where I am or who I am right now.

In the words of the writer John Betjeman.........You shouldn't go to your death bed regretting things you have done, you should regret things you never did! (and his greatest regret was not having enough sex apparently........... )

I regret having a half-assed approach to life. Up to now I haven't given my life 100% and it shows. Time to change that.

ive been reading all the post,s about how much people regret not being there when their loved one died, my dear daughter died in april, she was 31, much to young to go, but unfourtunatly the cancer she suffered and fought, for three years was just to strong,i was with her when she died, and i dont for one minute regret that, but i do know, that if i had not been there, then she would always have known how much i loved her, because i lived my life with her, and shared so much, so the loved ones we lose, always know how much they are loved, they never regret that, its only the living that think the last words are so important, we forget about all the other words that are shared and the love we showed when we had them in our life, that is so much more inportant to a dying loved one.i know this beause my girl told me ,mam she said, im so glad i was your girl, and i know im gonna miss you, thank you for being in my life, and all the love and care you gave me. thats what matters really, the care and love that makes our loved ones find the strength to go, knowing we love them, and they are in the safest of hands.
