It looks as if there are a few long islanders that are interested in a POF get together....how does next sat. night sound (say, the 18th of November) at Monroes (the bar/club thats at the Holiday Inn, off exit 43 on the LIE; great location, great music. ), at around 8ish?
If the location, date and time are acceptable, let me know, and if the response is good, I will call the place, make sure there's nothing else going on, and see if we can get this thing started. Also, if everything is cool, maybe we can post this as an official get together on the home page of POF.
again, hope that some people had some fun this past weekend, and I'm looking forward to this next response.

Posted: 11/8/2006 7:05:11 AM | Good morning Johnnie...look, this cannot work, if everyone that posts a message here wants to have a get together and mentions a different place; its nice to mention that you can get a hall, but some of us have mentioned Monroes, which makes sense. Lets focus one one place, lets get a # of people interested by this Friday, and if we can get at least 30 people interested, then lets post this event officially and make it work.
Again, if someone else wants to take the responsability, has a better choice, date and time, by all means, please, take charge. I only offered to help get things organized.
