Posted: 9/12/2005 5:52:59 PM | I know that great loves that last a lifetime are possible, I have witnessed a few. Unfortunately, I have yet to see one in my generation. It seems that the more convienient and disposable our 'tools' in life become...our personal relationships follow the same trend.
...where was I going with this?....yes senility is setting in...
Back on topic:
I have dated a much younger guy, it was an awesome relationship. The problems we had were not age related, but more 'backwoods Alberta hill billy'(me) VS 'grew up too fast in down town Vancouver'(him). Although the relationship ended in a rather large mushroom cloud, we are the best of friends. | |

I believe that the same is true on the other side of the fence. The last lady I dated was 23 and in the end it was the lack of maturity that killed the relationship. I dont think you will see a lot of long term older v/s younger relationships on both sides. But it is fun...just watch everyone at the POF get togethers.... | |

Someone mentioned in a similar thread that *some* men in their early 40s are looking for pin up girls to make them feel young again. That means that many of my male counterparts would not give me the time of day. I rarely get contacted by men my age or even in their late 30s.

Most girls my age...they laugh and pretend to be interested but end up playing with their hair and make up 30 seconds into talking.
thats usually when I know if a girl is gonna be cool or plastic.
