It would be very hard to be gender specific about this. I think all the traits I list are valid for either sex.
1. vanity
2. becoming content in a relationship and falling asleep on the couch, watching TV, at 8pm.
3. double standards
4 insecurity - I'm in my shorts and get up and she asks me where am I going!!? Bar or club, of course.
5. Inconsiderate - when getting a drink or snack I always ask my mate if they would like something.
same as I would a guest. Only polite.
6. dishonesty - specifying LTR for "relationship seeking" and really meaning FWB
Which is not so bad if you come clean right away. But after months it's somewhat
more difficult to deal with.

It also comes from the many images and messages we as women are bombarded with on a daily basis saying, "You're not good enough 'cause you're not skinny, pretty, or trendy enough." We also get our insecurities from our peers who fall into that trap of "not good enough", and tell us so. Men as well as women are guilty of telling one another whether it'd be to one another's face or behind their backs, "Oh you'd be much prettier if you only you lost weight...", etc, etc., etc.
I've had men tell me I'm fukin' ugly, or call me fat. (I never dated any of 'em, they were complete strangers.) As I can guarantee that there are women who have said to a guy "oh I would'nt sleep with you 'cause you have a small one.", etc., etc.
That's where most women get their insecurities from. Not from just Dr. Phil. If anything, (as far as I can see), he tries to promote being healthy, not anorexia. He does'nt say to some one, "you're not good enough as a person 'cause...". I'm not an avid Dr. Phil watcher in case you're wondering... | |

i) In love with themselves - overly vain. Have had their own 'model photo shoot' which cost £300 for 6 photos of them looking nothing like they do in real life.
ii) Overly concerned about the car you drive, your job, etc etc - social and financial snobbery.
iii) ****ing over other women's appearance, e.g. "mutton dressed as lamb" etc - I never did understand this one. | |

Posted: 4/1/2007 2:52:00 PM | One turn off that I've noticed on this site, more so than I've noticed in real life is that if a woman writes about a bad experience with a relationship all the women will come in and say what a jerk the guy was and how sorry they are for her. When a guy writes something very similar the women usually call him a wimp, and that women have every right to change there mind or be afraid of commitment and take off when they feel like it. Hypocrisy, I suppose.
I also tend to think women don't realize that men can be hurt as well. Just because we don't express it as emotionally as women, it doesn't mean the hurt doesn't exist. We just handle it differently. | |

2. 50ish and trolling for 25-30 year old guys
3. Run around YELLING “Independent Woman” (I have learned to hate that term)
4. Calls people shallow just because they are not interested
5. Boinks guys and whines about “players” (just keep your pants on - OR take responsibility for your actions and STFU)
6. Spews the “beauty is only on the inside” crappola
7. Argumentative
8. Lives for drama

Posted: 5/25/2007 7:36:20 PM | Mainly, I find many women are too self-absorbed - making themselves seemingly ridiculously busy and unavailable. Probably the number one reason guys aren't coming on to them. Also, alot of younger women are too shallow and immediately judge people in general, on their looks. Its really pathetic.
Its a breath of fresh air to find a woman that is down to earth and a independent thinker. | |

-women who talk non-stop ... where I could put the phone down for 10 minutes, run to the store and return, put the phone back to my ear and she's still going off then Houston, we have a problem.
-women who expect the guy to be the caretaker of the conversation. Shy is fine, speaking without saying a word is great ... yet expecting me to keep the topics flowing just gets ... exhausting. Same with messaging on this site ... can't stand those one-sentence replies ... yuck!
