| Top few things that turn you off about women

Gift giving.
Many women try to find gifts that reflect their knowledge of and feelings for the recipient.
They want gifts to re-inforce the uniqueness of the relationship. And they appreciate the effort, no matter how badly awry it goes.
Many guys just want the gift to be used. or useful
thus-gift cards.
case in point:
She: I looked all over before I found this. Happy Birthday!
Me " Heyyy, thanks! It's a Packer sweatshirt>" (I don't even wear undershirts with
advertising)
She: I know they're your favorite team.
Me : It's ...orange. (I don't have any tools colored that brightly)
She: Autumn Russet. It reminds me of the reddish highlights in your hair.
Me : Looks heavy. (For me, summer-autumn-winter means oxford-flannel-jacket-parka.
Zippers or buttons for easy removal))
She: Mine is really warm and comfy. You'll wear it?
Me : Sure (painting outside in November)
She: If you don't like it, you can always return it.
Me : Naah. thanks again. (It's from a boutique an hour away) | |

Usually I am someone that gives a gift that is useful, because that is something I would want in return. I don't want something that is going to sit on shelf collecting dust, because someone thought it was cute and it reminded them of me....make sense?
I'm also not someone who buys things that reflect our relationship, I'm not very good at that. I see it as being too mushy, and that is something that I am not, lol.
I am basically a wants and needs person when I shop for a significant other. | |

Posted: 6/21/2007 8:18:52 AM | Number 1 the dating version of Stockholm syndrome...acts like your her possession, going so far as to accuse you of cheating when they are told by you or someone who knows them you were having a drink with another women even if your just friends and she knows them.
Number 2 has to be the Personal Space issue, if a women wants personal space she has to get it...if a man wants personal space he is either being inconsiderate, selfish or doesn't love the person anymore.
Number 3 when your asked a question and they decide to answer the question for you making you look {A} stupid and {B} under the thumb. | |

Im an independent women, if you cant handle that, then maybe we shouldnt date....If you have to announce it to the world that your independent, then your really not...fake....P.S. if your single, have a job, and pay your bills..that makes you independent right?...then your just like the rest of the about 80% of the female population....
2. my kids come first, no man will ever come between that....DUH...you mean your not gonna pick me over your kids?...oh crap...thanks for letting me know!!!!
3. "Do you sleep around?" The most annoying question anybody could ask....first of all its a loaded question...anybody can make your answer sound bad if they want too...if you say "no"..then the next question is..."you always sleep with people you care about?"....disaster....
if you say "yes" to sleeping around...well..we all know what happens next...no second date....
those are just first date turn offs for me....... | |

Regarding indecisivness...
Women (at least this woman) will typically say "I don't know" when asked what they want to do for the evening because they like to date men that have a plan and take the lead. It's not necessarily that we are indecisive, we just want for YOU to make a decision.
And a guy who does this is inflexible, pushy and gives no consideration to the wishes of his partner.

In general men don't have a clue how women think and women don't have a clue how men think. The pet peeves seem to be the same for male/female. That's equlity! Posted: 7/30/2007 2:10:44 PM | 1) They never leave the toilet seat up. Can't count the number of times I've gotten up in the middle of the night to take a leak, aim it down and splash all over everywhere! Don't they have any consideration??
2) They always want me to drive. No matter where we go, or how far, I have to be the one driving! Don't they think that I want to sometimes ride, so I can talk to them and use both hands to make my points, or that I would like to tell THEM how to drive? Just once, I'd like to yell out my passenger window at the a$$ that passed us and then have THEM deal with it!
3) And sometimes I just want to be held after sex, not told to "get your sweaty a$$ off me". Don't they understand how vulnerable I am right then? I need their reassurance that it wasn't just about them getting theirs!

Alrighty Mr. eman, and I guess the rest of you men out there too, I have a question. I am very independent. I don't feel the need to announce it to the world, ooops I think I just did. Ok seriously, my question is.. since I do have a good job.. Does it bother you guys when we offer to pay dutch? I don't get it. Sometimes when I offer to pay my fair share, I feel like I've offended some guys. You know, if I want to go white water rafting, I will gladly pay my share. The same goes with meals, or anything else. I don't want to be a financial burdon on anyone. I also don't want to feel "obligated" to anyone. Is it a turn off to you when a woman offers to pay her share? | |

Lack of sex drive (she's obviously not physically attracted to me, dont give a damn how much she likes my personality)
Seeking things out to nag about.
Making up a fight just so she can storm out for a night out with her gf's (could just say "Hey, me and the girls are going out")
Infidelity (cheat once, I'm gone)
Lack of integrity (one lie, I'm gone)
Being fat and flabby... (total turn off, might have sex once or twice but long term or dating? not gonna happen)

Oh absolutely... women should be silent and accept whatever a man tells her to do and accept any man who chooses her to date, you should all be submissive... women's independance is a farse, you should all be in the kitchen cooking us men dinner and slaving over our laundry and cleaning the house and making lots of babies for us... you have no rights you have no freedom, you have NO CHOICE in who you get to date or marry... Go line up along the wall please and us men will come up to you if we think you are worthy of our attention.

Thats not true, men know exactly how women think... we just can't for the life of us figure out why they think like that... it breaks all common sense rules. 
As for women, they know how men think, they just think its wrong and that men should think like women instead because all women know how they think is the right way and how men think is the wrong way. I think...  | |

My parents raised me right with manners and I treat everyone with dignity and respect. Maybe there's such a thing as too much of a good thing. I'm still single.
