| DECEMBER 15, 2012 Posted: 3/20/2005 11:59:51 PM | I listen to that show religiously (ha, pun not intended). I bet it explains the wierd nightmares I keep having about glynnis the numbers lady trying to hunt me down.
So if the word is ending in 10 years, does this mean I can stop paying my student loans and start screwing anything that moves?
|
| DECEMBER 15, 2012 Posted: 3/21/2005 12:02:21 AM | Why the hell would you be dreaming about the numbers lady? If anything Sylvia Brown is much more weird sounding (voice wise).
Besides I put a 2 up on my bedroom door and I got a woman.... imagine that....
Now I just need the 8 to work.... come on jonny 5! er I mean 8
|
| DECEMBER 15, 2012 Posted: 3/21/2005 12:12:15 AM | jonny 5! ah short circuit movies...i miss them.
Sylvia reminds me of my mom, not so scary. glynnis reminds me of my grnadma, very scary. I get her newsletter every month. It's fun to look at.
I've decided I need a cave that I can broadcast from.

| DECEMBER 15, 2012 Posted: 4/23/2005 12:05:07 AM | | Earth won't be coming to an end for 5 billion years when the Sun becomes a Red Giant and swallows Earth. | |
|
| DECEMBER 15, 2012 Posted: 4/23/2005 5:59:45 AM | While the sun exhausting its fuel would definitely do that, there could be other events that happen before that, that would be equally disastrous.
Of course IMO if we were still around by then either we would not be strictly physical beings or rejuvenating a sun would be something a kid could do as a science fair project for sh*ts and giggles...

| DECEMBER 15, 2012 Posted: 4/23/2005 3:51:40 PM | cant say that i do know any thing about this prediction. many predictions about this and many predictors come and go. how can u put any credence in any of them? this group of responses seems to be considering the end based on secular resources. my basis for determining the outcome of the future about such galactic events rests on a book and a being who has repeatedly demonstrated His infaliblity and omnipotence. what He says Is what im banking on! | |
|
| DECEMBER 15, 2012 Posted: 4/24/2005 10:42:35 AM | | The next time I eat pinto beans fried liver with onions, jalipinos, drink gin and a couple cases of budwiper and light up a cigar....you will hear a wwwwwwooooooooommmmmpppppaaaa! And that will be it well all be gone................. | |
|
| DECEMBER 15, 2012 Posted: 4/24/2005 4:37:13 PM | 28 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes, and twelve seconds. That is when the world will end. Thats what Frank told me... WADE,out | |

| DECEMBER 15, 2012 Posted: 4/24/2005 5:35:25 PM | The Mayan calendar was calculated somewhat differently IMHO. So we are deriving a date from scientific evaluation (since the Mayans also used a different "scale" for tracking time). This is why there is some dispute on the actual date, but not the year.
If I recall offhand, December 21, 2012 is 'the end' of the Mayan calendar and the beginning of the 13th Baktun, ergo 'the end' of the 12th baktun as well, no?
Have we seen the passing of a civilization before? How about that guy in the ark? When you cheer the survivor, have you forgotten the passing of the less fortunate?
JMHO,

| DECEMBER 15, 2012 Posted: 4/24/2005 5:55:37 PM | yall are seriously whakko with this mayan calendar deal. The freaking rabbit told me exactly when it's gonna happen. It's either that or me and my coworkers will do the job... | |
|
| DECEMBER 15, 2012 Posted: 6/29/2005 10:26:23 PM | ... no it will NOT be the End of World (dec. 15/12)...perhaps dayz of darkness but not END as we think it will be...
The world will be overpopulated and vast hysteria , there will be more catastrophical events... so be prepared... wheather wise as well ... the events will all unfold and ruin some of mankind .... but it will not be THE END...
|
| DECEMBER 15, 2012 Posted: 6/29/2005 10:30:06 PM | | Its Mayan I heard also. A few big ones just missed the earth from the blinding sun. So, yeah...love your kids and wife..neighbors etc and pray that Gods angels..go fix the asteroids, meteors, and comets for God so they don't hit us..also since we're good they can leave us for a few minutes "playing" as kids....and go fix that stuff....God can do as he wishes...so be good for goodness sake. | |

| DECEMBER 15, 2012 Posted: 6/30/2005 10:17:30 AM | Wiccan ^^ Let's get "our" pendulum out... | |
|
| DECEMBER 15, 2012 Posted: 6/30/2005 11:17:06 AM | | On a long enough time line, everyones chance for survival goes to zero. | |
|
| DECEMBER 15, 2012 Posted: 6/30/2005 11:50:32 AM | I thought I'd heard May 5, 2012, but I may be misremembering.
There's also the Age of Aquarius. There's some uncertainty about when it actually begins. Some have said it won't be another 500 years, but others are putting it early this century.
And let's not forget the prophecies of Malachi. He predicted a succession of Popes. The last one goes by the appelation Peter the Roman. The current Pope is actually the last one before Peter the Roman. Historically Popes do reign very long. Maybe Benedict will die in 3.5 years as per Revelations. Then in 2012 the end of the world comes.
Of course it's only the end as we know it. The Catholic Church will cease to exist. Christianity will become a minor cult. With each new Age a new religion becomes prominent. In the Age of Taurus there was Mithraism with its bull sacrifice. In the Age of Aries there was Judaism with the sacrifice of lambs. In the Age of Piceses there was the sacrifice of the fisher of men. So in the Age of Aquarius there will be the sacrifice of the Water Bearer, whatever that means.
Yeah, it's a bunch of crap, but maybe we can use 2012 as an excuse to make a better world?

| DECEMBER 15, 2012 Posted: 6/30/2005 1:33:03 PM | | So for those of us guys who don't Xmas shop till the 20th or so, this is good news then. | |
|
| DECEMBER 15, 2012 Posted: 6/30/2005 3:59:32 PM | Age of Aqua..
I heard that there will be Tainted Water...
and the Chinese will have no pure water... and there will be battle for it...I may be wrong here...
But, i've also heard about May 12/2012.... also the one on Mayan Calender...
As some of our Prophets have been offline every now and again or even once the chance of destruction is inevitable... but.. there will be some "mankind" left not all shall parish...so whatever that means either from them saving themselves and being prepared or blessed.. i have no idea...?

Exact date and time for the end of the world: Tue Jan 19 03 07 2038 Computer clock rollover bug - worse than Y2K. Some people are already starting to feel its effect
LOL: ) and how 'exactly' BAD was "y2K" ?
a lot of hype, thousands of consultants made billions of $$ , but virtually no impact on most people..

| DECEMBER 15, 2012 Posted: 8/14/2007 8:16:12 PM | hey call me crazy but...If this was true and we couldn't change it, how nice we would start treating each other. Why just think how less stressful our lives would be just knowing that we wouldn't have to suffer at our jobs trying to get ahead, to have a better car or a bigger house? Tomorrow when I wake up I'm going to pretend its true, see if my day is any brighter when I stop to hug my kids a little longer and smile at the lady at the cafe and joke with the receptionist...I bet I have a better day!
I want it to be true just so we can stop hurting each other and enjoy the days we have left.

| DECEMBER 15, 2012 Posted: 8/14/2007 8:17:58 PM | For a little more insight on the Mayan calendar and what it means to someone who has actually studied it, check this out... It's 35 minutes long, but well worth it for those with an open mind...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YomEEicpxcc
It doesn't predict the end of the Earth... It predicts a change of conciousness worldwide... When the majority of us wake up to who we really are...
Is the end of the world as we know it really such a bad thing?
