Apparently I am not familiar with Sheridan enough to know what/where the Sheridan bridge is. The one over Indian Creek, or the road under I-35??
I hope those who know their directions better and did arrive had a good time.
I really wanted to be there and meet some new lady folks, but gave up after no one in Olathe could give me directions to the place. I didn't see any sign that might have said Singles Party and an arrow.
Nor was there a phone # to call.
Oh well, maybe there will be another party somewhere to attend in the near future. | |

I had a lot of fun and everyone was very friendly. There was a lot of joking and laughing, teasing and jesting. The more experienced singles were teaching the younger folks colorful terms and phrases from the olden days, it was a hoot!(word used to denote fun and frolic) Jay | |

I had a great time meeting new people and just getting out of the house without going to the bar which is all there is to do down here. If your planning on another one of these let me know as I will try my best to attend. We was pretty lucky that you had more mature crowd and nothing got way out of hand. I have been to alot of get togethers with a host house and if your not careful things can get ugly quick. Thanx again for being such a great host.

Posted: 10/16/2006 9:17:55 AM | Elvis, Jude, and the other great musicians...(two other guitar player, I didnt get a chance to say hello) and those that jumped in on Bongo's etc., all of which were GREAT!!! thanks sooooo much for sharing your talent....next party we are definately going to set up the garage to be more performance friendly....waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better lighting, and seating, and I think we may be able to get away with a little more volume too, to set the mood of more of a small club scene....the plans are allready in the works. Posted: 10/17/2006 11:53:35 AM | Do it again in a couple weeks and I'll be there, I just got my boat floating yesterday, working on the exhaust today and then move it to an anchorage for a while before I head it to Florida, got make a quick trip home later this week and take care of some stuff there.
So how many people showed? Every one of these I've been too has been great, I've helped run a few of them in Florida. | |

If I would not have been at the right place at the right time there would have been a bigger fire to put out than what I saw. Maybe try and keep the candles off the counters. I could not stay later than I did because I was supposed to be hosting a skins golf match the next day that got rained out. Now I wish I would have stayed longer to get better acquainted with everyone. I ran into a detective from the police department from my part of town I recognized and met quite a few people from my part of the hood too. Very surprised all around how well things went.Sounds like I missed out on a massage too!! Anyway, thanks again and I hope to see everyone at the next gig. | |
