I find a flat stomach to be very attractive. Then again, I too am rail thin and in my case, opposites don't attract.

Nothing wrong with that.

However, you may be annoyed at those that tell you that your body type is "wrong", that's what people who are your "opposites" are being told.

I suppose I will never understand those males that I was referring to (re: latent), that oogle at women with shapeless buttocks and hips, skeletal legs, bony arms and sunken cheeks ......

I am only reminded of concentration camp victims, those visited by drought and starvation and women near-death from eating disorders.

Disorders brought on by an ideal of beauty promoted by Madison Avenue parasites.

I believe thinness bears no relation to how long a lifespan one will have

And you got your medical degree from where? You conducted these studies using how many test subjects?

I was lazy and let the most learned people in the world conduct the studies I brought to light here. These weren't my own observations. I'm retelling you what educated people who've dedicated their lives to research are writing about in their papers, and journals. You must have a 250 IQ to discard so easily what they have to say, or an IQ of six under that of plant-life. Which is it? ...I already know the answer to this one.

Our friend dkn just likes to show his man-breasts. We shouldn't rag him for his lack of shyness.

I prefer the term "Man Boobage"

I'm actually quite shy

No, you are only repeating what agrees with your assertions.

That you don't recognize that there are studies that contradict those you "retell", conducted by "educated people who've dedicated their lives to research", speaks volumes.

Especially when taken in the context of the hurled epithets you seem to require to make your point.

Nah - you wouldn't like me. I'd remind you of some perverted Madison Avenue sicko's idea of a skinny twelve year old boy who also happens to be a bullimic concentration camp victim. You'd probably try to feed me. Or worse, you would ... *shudder* ... rub agaiinst me. Ok, seriously, if the woman has to turn sideways in order to pass through a turnstile then she is probably not my preference.

Guys, don't let this thread become hostile.

I was on another thread that dealt with a woman who felt threatened by a man that called her at work out of the blue. She just stated that she felt wary of the guy and decided to err on the side of caution and reject the guy's advances.

I defended her, but another fellow told both me and the lady that we were wrong and that we were intolerant of shy people.

The whole thing got a bit out of control, until it got to the point where the guy said that I just didn't have the right to post because I was wrong.

He then got so irate that he emailed me and said things like he would come and kick my rear if he knew where I lived.

Of course, I emailed back and offered to buy him a plane ticket and pick him up at the airport.

What it comes down to, is that I should have been mature enough to let things pass when they got to a certain point, but I didn't.

The forums are for us to exchange our ideas and pursue freedom of speech.

Let's keep it civil and not attack one another. All of us are better than that.

Not if you didn't resemble one........

You'd probably try to feed me.

Only if you were hungry.........

Ok, seriously, if the woman has to turn sideways in order to pass through a turnstile then she is probably not my preference.

I'd have to agree, but I wouldn't condemn her for it.

My beloved happens to be rather tiny, .....this is now my new standard of female perfection.

Not because of expectations, but because of love.

And so if I put down "average" as my body type & someone suggests I put athletic, I should be offended? The comments for Pandora by all those involved were well-meant.

Picking at each other in a friendly way is one of the reasons that I joined these forums.

It's just unfortunate that a few people around the threads become hostile, name call, etc. I hope that that negative crap doesn't become a trend.

Let's just keep if cool and friendly.

Or at least mean in a friendly way.

Great story! What is almost as irritating, is some one who refuses to ex-change photos, but would rather get to know each other thru e-mails 1st, for eternity, hoping that you will fall in love with there great personality, then when u do finally meet, after talking for months, you think-GREAT SCOTT, GET ME OUT OF HERE.! I say, meet quickly, if there is chemisty, you can talk as a couple forever!

why waste your time talking on the e-net, for months,( if he(she) is a good b.s.' er you'll never know), with a loser? I say, ask for photos, meet quickly, if he (sh e)sends in a bogus photo, at least u'll know when u meet. Sort of like pulling a bandage off quickly!

and also how one woman he was with he could touch his fingers around her waist and he literally got off on it. I am talking fingers...not arms!

Cinder23-- I did make a comment about a woman with a size zero waist however, i'll give you a virtual dollar if you find any post of mine resembling the remark you quoted above.
I don't care much for being taken out of context like that. You're attempt at making me out to be an a-hole has backfired on ya. ... And Sari, let her defend her comment alone.

mikej..."There is something strangely appealing about almost being able to touch fingers around a woman's waist. The perceived fragility contrasted with rough sex is a weird turn on."

^^^^ Sorry, It was mikej who made the comment on another thread, sounds like you two share similar thoughts though

I could also use a cheeseburger.
