|
| Any punk/metal/hardcore music fans? Posted: 9/6/2006 6:59:32 AM | I'm not too hardcore about Pantera. I do like them and I have learned some of their songs on guitar. They do kick ass though. I prefer the more melodic songs, avoid the light, cemetery gates etc... What I REALLY love is Damage Plan - A lot of people dont like that band but they are stellar imho. | |
|
| Any punk/metal/hardcore music fans? Posted: 9/6/2006 12:11:54 PM | I love Damageplan a lot myself, do ya think some of the lyrics to a lot of those songs are shots at phil? The F U song..what killer guitar!!
Identity murdered, malicious intent I'm recreating myself at last Rise up from destruction, start over again Reborn, I'm now erasing the past
Did you think for a second I Wouldn't bother to question why You always put me last Can you look straight into my eyes As you're excreting all your lies Your time is coming fast!!!!!!!!

| Any punk/metal/hardcore music fans? Posted: 9/16/2006 6:13:12 PM | | Dimebag got shot to death on my birthday, same as John Lennon. But I was alot more upset when it happened to Dimebag, because as a guitarist, he had a bigger influence on me. Haven't listened to much new metal, but like some stuff by Devildriver. Really like older Slayer, Kreator, Sodom and old Suicidal Tendencies, I think Rocky George is one of the best metal guitarists and underrated. | |

| Any punk/metal/hardcore music fans? Posted: 9/23/2006 10:19:20 AM | It's not tickets I have a problem getting, it's the rides. I was so dissappointed, this week alone was A7X w/ Protest the Hero on weds nite and Dropkick Murphy's, Bad Religion and Comeback Kid on thurs. I can't get a ride to Underoath on mon, so it's like, well, this sucks.
And The Embassy's line-up's suck, the only one sounding any good is Gale Grace, but I can get connects to them easier when they play Metalfest in Windsor.
The tours and lineups kinda suck this year.

| Any punk/metal/hardcore music fans? Posted: 2/3/2007 1:52:37 PM | Ummm screw you all METALLICA dominates and always have dominated the metal/hard rock scene
Are you serious?? Metallica havent dominated anything since And Justice For All. The last effort they put out was one of the worst metal albums Ive ever heard.
Dave Mustaine said recently the new Megadeth is going to be old school speed metal/thrash,he said its not going to be Rust In Peace 2 but its going to be better than anything since.I cant wait. They are playing with Heaven And Hell(Black Sabbath with Dio)and Down(Phil Anselmo -Pantera).This is gonna be one hell of a show.

| Any punk/metal/hardcore music fans? Posted: 2/3/2007 7:14:10 PM | | I'm a big time punk fan. I'm checking out the local seen usually 3 times a month. It's hard to imagine that such an uptight town as london has such a great punk scene. | |
