Sorry. Should of said the 2 best metal albums I've ever heard. I'm a huge Frank Zappa fan and there are definitely way too many ablums to choose a favourite.

Anyone heard of Caliban or Heaven Shall Burn?

Both are German (but sing in english). I'm really into it recently. I'd love to see them live!

I didnt think there were many metalheads/punks in Ontario, thank god there is.
I'm really into the european death metal.
In Flames
Hypocrisy
Dark Tranquillity (just found them check them out!)
Norther
Kalmah
Bodom

Stuff like that.
I've seen alot of live concerts in my time but the best ones:
Megadeth
Bodom
Hypocrisy
Nevermore
Iced Earth
Blind Guardian
Jag Panzer
Primus
Static-X
Many...MANY more. I love music :D

I'm not too hardcore about Pantera.
I do like them and I have learned some of their songs on guitar. They do kick ass though.
I prefer the more melodic songs, avoid the light, cemetery gates etc...
What I REALLY love is Damage Plan - A lot of people dont like that band but they are stellar imho.

I love Damageplan a lot myself, do ya think some of the lyrics to a lot of those songs are shots at phil? The F U song..what killer guitar!!

Identity murdered, malicious intent
I'm recreating myself at last
Rise up from destruction, start over again
Reborn, I'm now erasing the past

Did you think for a second I
Wouldn't bother to question why
You always put me last
Can you look straight into my eyes
As you're excreting all your lies
Your time is coming fast!!!!!!!!

Dimebag got shot to death on my birthday, same as John Lennon. But I was alot more upset when it happened to Dimebag, because as a guitarist, he had a bigger influence on me. Haven't listened to much new metal, but like some stuff by Devildriver. Really like older Slayer, Kreator, Sodom and old Suicidal Tendencies, I think Rocky George is one of the best metal guitarists and underrated.

It's not tickets I have a problem getting, it's the rides. I was so dissappointed, this week alone was A7X w/ Protest the Hero on weds nite and Dropkick Murphy's, Bad Religion and Comeback Kid on thurs. I can't get a ride to Underoath on mon, so it's like, well, this sucks.

And The Embassy's line-up's suck, the only one sounding any good is Gale Grace, but I can get connects to them easier when they play Metalfest in Windsor.

The tours and lineups kinda suck this year.

Are you serious?? Metallica havent dominated anything since And Justice For All.
The last effort they put out was one of the worst metal albums Ive ever heard.

Dave Mustaine said recently the new Megadeth is going to be old school speed metal/thrash,he said its not going to be Rust In Peace 2 but its going to be better than anything since.I cant wait. They are playing with Heaven And Hell(Black Sabbath with Dio)and Down(Phil Anselmo -Pantera).This is gonna be one hell of a show.

Yep going to the heaven and hell in london on march 24th, being brit i'm an old school punker at heart lol, one of the few that saw the original Sex Pistols, ahh the good ole days, back then i used to do a lot of roadie trips with the U.K Subs, Damned, The Clash and other bands, ahhhhhhh shit i miss those days
And then there's Lemmy (Motorhead) Uncle Lemmy pmsl (once removed lol) i did a roady gig with them back in 89, best time of my life!!!! we still hook up once every 5 years or so when i'm in the U.K pmsl
And now here i am at 43 years old on a bloody dating web site trying to find a nice girl pmsl, oh man i'm soooooooooo depressed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pmsl

Some shows I'm going to in the next month (in London and Toronto): Saosin, Mikoto, The Casualties, Alexisonfire, Bad Religion, Comeback Kid, Underoath, Moneen, Dragonforce.

I was with you untill you hit Dragon force.

80's Hair rocker band with a KEYBOARD in 2007? no seriosuly... their guitarist is good.. the rest of the band... BE -- LOWS.. not to mention their sophmoric homophobic statments at Ozzfest Detroit 2006.

Well I always have been way more punk than metal:
Social Distortion, Dropkick Murphys, Distillers, Turbo AC's, New Bomb Turks, Anti-Flag, Raised fist etc. seem to dominate my playlist these days alongside the usual Clash/Pistols/Subs suspects and loads of other kinds of music, Reggae, Folk, Soul...

I'm a big time punk fan. I'm checking out the local seen usually 3 times a month. It's hard to imagine that such an uptight town as london has such a great punk scene.
