Phallic. It is all phallic. we live in phallic shadow.
womb like, it is all womb like we arrive from the shadow of the womb.
In between episodes of lust Seize, then release.
Ahem, what glistens better than phallic meeting the womb?
Woo-woo! | |

Not sure I understand this but love the nimble wit of its composition.

| Mirror, mirror on the wall Posted: 10/3/2009 8:13:55 AM | Passion my dear friend is always understood best by participating parties isn't it? For me Briso's poem speaks to the beginning, when you haven't yet touched your lover but really, really want to. At least that is what I got from it but you know I've been on other sites reading and participating in some amazing poetry.
You two are some of my favorites here and a big hugg and kiss for all those who I haven't posted to Rose, D, all ov you have my love, know that please.

| Mirror, mirror on the wall Posted: 10/3/2009 11:06:42 AM | ^^^thank you foxy one... You just keep getting better looking, you know?
Jer, it's a tongue in cheek poem about the phallus...about an erm, generous phallus....since I was writing in first, last I had to work within the parameters of the last line, and there was a naughty devil on my shoulder whispering...

| kudos>> Posted: 10/3/2009 11:28:22 AM | Hope this is ok....I frequent this page for all the talent and intrigue However, Brizo had to say thank you for your heavy package poem.It caused the urge to chortle. It was phenomenal. I remembered my days as a letter carrier and learning about "packages" from another female carrier. I had never thought....then I looked and blushed. | |

| kudos>> Posted: 10/4/2009 8:34:41 PM | Nothing speaks louder than the silence just before the onrush of desire. Nothing.
Kudos my extraordinary man to the minute you traced my nose I really liked your fingers in my hair I really liked that you did not speak.
Kudos to the second the sun rose, you took that fateful moment to inquire..."was I fine?" More than this pitiful sun beginning to rise.

that which shows is a face that which shows is phaenomenon
the prefix pha becomes pha lic the quality of showing
this is the true meaning of phallic in ancient ancient ancient ancient greek

| kudos>> Posted: 10/4/2009 9:02:18 PM | There is hermes too
Hermes is the snatch(er) of truth, and is represented as a 'hideous scarlet' phallus...to arrive at truth requires quickness and a good set of sharp arrows....
|
| HERMES Posted: 10/4/2009 9:08:20 PM | | When the male is isolated from the female principle, the male becomes centered around his own seed and light. This predicament is essentially Phallogocentrism and the male is centered around what is to be revealed in the light of his own knowledge as the principle of self-sufficiency. The phallus in Greek mythologies and agrarian societies is symbolic of the God Hermes, the thief. The thief is truth since the thief uses a bow and arrow to 'strike the truth'; truth is like an arrow; when the truth is revealed the truth acts like an arrow striking its target. The phallus is what is 'magic' and what is Hermes 'disseminator' of truth, his hideous scarlet stick. The word 'fascinam' derives from phallus, and this word also means fascination. Hermes wears on his head a winged helmut, he is a messenger, and he can transform himself into anything, even smoke to get through key holes in doors. | |

| more spater de los sacred sex Posted: 10/4/2009 9:22:35 PM | Many neolithic societies did not understand the biology of sex. According to Malinkowski, the neolithic societies in Africa did not believe that sexual intercourse, copulation, was the cause of pregnancy. The neolithic societies believed that copulation was magic and a ritual in which the gods were made happy enough so that the crops would be abundant. The simple biological fact that copulation resulted in fertilization of the woman was unacceptable to them even when these people were told this was the case. In the ancient Hebrew tradition, each time a man and woman make love, the universe is recreated and it's creation is restored in an evolutionary or cyclic sense. A faithful man and woman who are married prefer to make love on after mid-night on the sabbath. This is when Shekinah hovers over the marriage bed. Shekinah is the earthly manifestation of Jehovah, Jahweh.
Hence the importance of a full moon tonight

Make love not history. Then history is truly made. How very supreme that one little sperm! dances with an egg! in untramelled freedom another history begins its infant way.
Unfortunately ,Trulio, none of this lovemaking stuff is sacred these days. It is only momentary pleasure, then on to the next time. Oh well and hell lets go again.

Glory to the moral of this poem, and at least equal glory to the easy light-hearted humour in it! Down with the thought that making-love need be a recreational sport, a solemn gender duty or obligation - and that it need be solemn... and dull!

| One Eye, One Lip, and Twolips meeting Posted: 10/5/2009 10:47:38 PM | What has one eye and one lip? What has two lips?
heno-, hen- (Greek: one; used as a prefix)
hendiadys A figure of speech in which two words connected by a conjunction are used to express a single notion that would normally be expressed by an adjective and a noun [or expressed by two nouns or two adjectives joined, rather than by an adjective-noun combination] such as "grace and favor" instead of "gracious favor"; or as Virgil wrote: "We drink from cups and gold" (instead of "golden cups"). henism henogenesis henogeny henopoeia A figure of speech by which a number of things are considered as one. henotheism 1. The worship of one god, that is, as the special god of a social group or occupation, while acknowledging or believing in the existence of other gods. 2. A kind of polytheism in which one god of the pantheon is raised over the others.
Coined by Friedrich Max Mueller (1823-1900), professor of comparative philology at Oxford, in his "Lecture on the Origin and Growth of Religion" (1878). It is also defined as, "the worship of one of a group of gods, in contrast with monotheism, which teaches that only one god exists." A henotheist is an adherent of henotheism. henotheist henotic Tending to make into one; unifying; reconciling, harmonizing

Isn't Cunnilingus the Irish National Air line??
And what does it mean when one says: "My computer went down on me"?

| Mirror, mirror on the wall Posted: 10/6/2009 8:25:38 PM | | Hey Alyosha....an awful lot of lovemaking can be very dull indeed. But something in the realm of a true connection is something else. The difference between significant and non significant. Cheers. And heres to significant fornication. lol. But, then, again there is a significant difference between men and women. | |

heres to significant fornication.
I had this lover about whom I often felt that our conversation was like making love and our love-making was like very good conversation.
