2. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? ......Not that I know of, but there seem to be a fair number of Gregory Jameses all about the same age as me.
3. WHEN DID YOU LAST CRY?.......Last Sunday. I don't remember if I've broken down since then. Other than Sunday, these are brief spasms that pass quickly.
4. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING?..... Perhaps as an art form. I switched to printing in Grade Ten when I could no longer read my writing.
5. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT? .... My mood shifts. Sliced garlic roast beef, or simple turkey.
6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU? Yes..... I'm smart, idiosyncratic, and I get my jokes. Nobody else does. Well, at least two people do, but I've already LJBF'ed them for other reasons.
8. DO YOU HAVE A JOURNAL? ..... The people who would be in my LiveJournal are already reading it. I've been vaguely thinking of starting another secret journal. I found a link to a secret journal when sanitizing it to hand over to a 14 year old as the will specified. The secret online journal covered two traumatic months about a year before the end.
9. DO YOU USE SARCASM A LOT? ....No. Never.

11. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP?.... I don't see it happening, but I'm hard to predict. And I'm not sure that they have the tables on what length to use for my weight.

14. DO YOU THINK YOU ARE STRONG? ... Nope. Showered this morning. OK, Physically strong - yes. Emotionally strong? Hard to say. I sidestep or bull through things that flatten some people. Everyone says I've been strong.
15. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM FLAVOR? .... Vanilla for floats, or Tin Lizzie by itself.
16. SHOE SIZE? .....11 or 12. Always depends on brand.
17. RED OR PINK? ..... I've actually owned pink shirts. Pink (or at least peach) looks OK on me without undermining my self-image. I've also got lots of files featuring "pink" in obscure directories on my computer. But I would buy a red car over a pink one. In my late forties, I'm actually looking at a red two seater convertible, just to play to the stereotype. Red or Pink depends on context.
18. WHAT IS THE LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOURSELF? ...... If I put off a decision, then it can't be a WRONG decision. Phobia over making bad decisions. Other kinds of procrastination, too, but mistakeophobia is the biggie.

20. PEPSI OR COKE?..... Barqs. Or Water. Occasionally coke for flavour or pepsi if I've been sweating from working hard. Simply (Costco house brand) is more coke-like than Coke is, if you imagine a coke to pepsi spectrum. But I haven't had a Costco membership for five years.
21. WHAT COLOR PANTS AND SHOES ARE YOU WEARING? ..... I'm wearing neither at the moment. But I've been wearing blue or gray pants and gray 'n' black shoes lately.

30. FAVORITE SPORT? ... Competitive business as a sport. I realized I was reading business as "sports" during the cola wars. Coke vs Pepsi was so much more compelling than anything in the stanley cup run. These days, Suncor versus Syncrude is a game I can't turn away from. And Teck Cominco choking in the final inning last week? That was classic!
31. HAIR COLOR? ... Brown, dark enough to be black at first glance. My brother wonders why mine never changed colour. I point out that he has two teenaged daughters.
32. EYE COLOR? .....Brown. I used to say "hazes starburst in brown", but my date at the time claimed that was pretentious. It probably was.
33. DO YOU WEAR CONTACTS? ....... Did from 84 to 90. Will likely do so again. But I will still need reading glasses as well as the contacts.
34. FAVORITE FOOD? ... Simple food. Meat and Potatoes. Pizza. Hamburger Helper. Burgers. Clubhouse sandwich. Open face hot turkey sandwich with gravey.

I once thought that a spectacular skill at maintaining mainframe code would sustain me forever. Didn't turn out to be that way. I'm good at ABAP, a language that comes with SAP. And I am pretty good at getting small mechanical things (toasters, old audio that still had moving parts) to work again.
