Blondeamazon~ I was in Port Dover Jan 13, 2006. I had an absolute blast! It happened to be exceptionally warm for that time of year. There was quite a turnout but not so many bikes one couldn't navigate. I've worked in Daytona during Bike Week (Ironhorse Saloon)~ getting 5 miles can take a half hour. I have to agree, high heels, shorts, skirts ewww. That's a disaster looking for a place to happen. Have to wonder how sexy those legs will be full of gravel scars or worse. My bike is a 1978 Suzuki GS 550. Nothing trendy about that lol. Just a vintage bike that caught my eye. It's mint and runs like a dream. Unlike the lady that sold hers after the divorce... I bought mine after the divorce.

IME, most men seem to like women who ride...but some seem to be threatened by it?? I've been riding since before I got my car driver's license. I am a need-for-speed personality. I don't ride for any image, if anything I HATE being called a "biker chick". I just love the feel of blasting through the wind, of the top end power with a flick of the wrist, of acceleration. I'd like to think that what men find attractive is the female personalities who would end up riding - daring, risk-taking, brave, sassy, thwart the 'status quo' types. I think sport bikes are hot on men (SOME men that is), but I think because of what it says about the guy. Same as above with the girl. I love seeing a man do testosterone-type things, be a man's man...esp things like trick-riding or track. One thing though, I hate being a passenger or taking one. When it comes to motorcycles that is. I'm in the market for a pre-owned ZX6R with the intent of doing some track, if anyone in my area knows of any in decent shape please pass it along!
