Thanks SOOOOO much for your offer. It's a 2000 Mercury Mystique. The engine blew. I had a friend look at it, and it's has been declared DOA, terminal, kaput, finito, etc.
Life has been way too much fun lately, but I know this will pass.
Should have a confirm from Shoney's today, tomorrow at the latest.

One thing has come up though. Seems a lot of folks don't know this thread exists, if they don't frequent the Forums, and/or they cannot get to it. Somehow we need to solve that problem. I haven't figured out just how to do that yet.
I put the link to it in my profile among the cobwebs, but we need a better solution than that. Heck, nobody ever goes there! 
Ideas sure are welcome!

I don't know why it says "Images" right next to it, but it does. I guess that may be a sub-thread of some kind for the sake of posting pictures, after the fact.
In any case, here's how to get there. Would recommend bookmarking it when you do, for future reference.

I personally know of no way to email everyone in the area about this. That would be nice, or any way other than the forums and word-of-mouth to get the information out there..
