| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 8/29/2006 8:31:23 PM | I dance all of the time as it is my first passion in life..as for the clubs...I go, but not often - I am very picky about the music and am not interested in the 'to be seen scene' as I am there for the music. I try to find DJ's that I like so at least I know that when I do go - I will spend my entire night on the dance floor. | |

| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 8/29/2006 9:16:03 PM | | God yes! I try to go dancing at least once a month. I fell fabulous getting ready, meeting my friends, hitting the floor and letting loose. There is nothing like the high (or the sore feet after wearing 4 inch heels) after a night dancing. I dance at home too - put on the tunes and go crazy. Keeps me young and will forever - I hope I never change, even when I meet Mr Lyrical LOL He does not have to dance very good, but he does have to watch me! People always watch me when I dance - not sure if that's because I'm so bad or if because I have a good time wherever I go... | |

I thought :
"YUCK, GLAD TO SEE I'M NOT MISSING MUCH IN NOT COMING TO THESE PLACES"

| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 8/30/2006 4:16:46 AM | Dancing is my release from tension so yeah I still go.. But I dont go to most of the places I went to when I was younger because those places were for younger crowds. I go places where people close to my age go and Have a ball almost everytime I go.
So if anyone reaches Bermy and wants to dance, go to fairmount, wine cellar, I'll save a dance for ya.

| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 8/30/2006 6:10:43 AM | | ˆˆˆ I have the same issue. I love to dance, but I don't like to go to places where the average age is 21 and the mood is meat market. I've found some great places in cities that I expected would have nothing. My favourite find was Tribeca in Halifax. It's got a loft-style dance space and, depending on the saturday, they spin soul and good house music. The crowd is dressed to impress, 25+ (plenty of people over 30), in a good mood and love to dance. | |

| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 8/30/2006 9:41:27 AM | | I'll go occasionally, usually when my younger friends want to go, and sometimes with my SO when we just want to dance. Typically, we'll go a bit early before the crowds fill up the dance floor, so we can move around and do more than shake and grind in place! | |

| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 8/31/2006 6:06:48 AM | I love good music and the atmos in a great club. Around here there aren't many that fit this description, so have to go further afield. My nights here are more for social drinking and meeting friends, whereas when I go to the effort to go to a 'club' then it really is an event!!! Am off to Ibiza in 2 days and cant wait. The dancefloor is there to listen to the best, freshest tunes, so the 'pulling' element really isn't there for me personally, although it is nice when you are surrounded by like minded georgeous people!!

I like real dancing but am not adverse to a few of those moves. For the rest us who know what REAL dancing is I salute you and hope to see you soon.
As for the clubs - so much more fun to dance when you can feel the beat in the floor and and lights are swinging......dj or live band doesn't matter which.

Unfortunately the way girls dance now is just practice for stipper pole dancing I like their dances but I agree with you on that. I've found it very hard to find ppl who actually know how to 'dance' and not just 'dance moves'. There is a subtle difference.
As someone told the difference they see in my dancing and other is other seems like they're just trying to go in time with the music, Mine seems like I'm telling a story through the help of the music.

| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 9/1/2006 8:07:43 PM | Dance Clubs ain't my scene. I only went once with a friend in my mid-20's and found myself utterly out of my element. It was like watching the circus set to thumping beats and herds of underage children gone wild. Of course I could have been at McDonald's.... | |

| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 9/1/2006 8:10:21 PM | | I totally miss going to the clubs to go dancing. It's great exercise, great way to mingle and have fun. It seems everybody wants to go to freakin movies or galleries or to eat. I have one girlfriend from work who likes to go to the clubs but she is 24 and we are kind of on different wave lengths. I sympathize with some of the gals on here, most of my friends my age are married or on their 2nd marriage so they are happy and content to sit and watch their thighs grow. Not this chicken - but hey i am the mercy of the younger crowd and they usually wanna go to the younger bars. | |

| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 9/2/2006 8:24:54 AM | Love to Dance
As for the Clubs, did alot of that, don't like the bar flies. Dancing does give out your sense of expression.
Love to feel the music, closes my eyes and just move.
I also love different kinds of Dance, Spanish, Asian, and the one I love the most, and hope to master it one day is Belly Dancing, Yup, it is awesome. MUst try it!!!!!!

| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 9/2/2006 10:22:57 AM | Nope! The club scene is not for me and I don't like dancing. Not the dancing type b/c of my two left feet. I don't like clubs b/c ppl there are fake, phony, snobbish, rude, obnoxious, and pretentious. I still enjoy going to concerts whenever I can and just jam out with the band. | |

| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 9/2/2006 3:56:11 PM | I go to the same club, every week. i do take breaks here and there, sometimes even for months, but my neighbor has been going for 28 years, so.....she drags me along! We go during the week when it's not so crowded and older people are there, not the drunk kids. Being single, it'd be better for me during the weekend, but i need to find someone to go with then.
It's a country place with a live band, cheap drinks, and normal people. Although I don't listen to country music at home anymore, I still love it! Line dancing is so fun, and it's excellent exercise. Two-step, swing, waltz, cowboy cha cha--it's all fun. I also LOVE music.
