Posted: 9/3/2006 4:33:11 AM | A girlfriend of mine and I went to a gay bar once when we were alot younger - just to see what it was like and we were hit on by older women (a couple) who were like in their 40's which at the time and to two 20 year olds, they were like 100 - lol.
That was enough for me to creep me out and to never go into one of those clubs again. | |

Close my eyes and wave my arms around.I like to have my space. Dont need it to be a football field. Like good looking women who enjoy the same on the dance floor. It ruins it though when the women think you are there just to try and pick them up. Its cool when you can enjoy a fast dance with a stranger and then move on. | |

There is usually a good mix of folks from nearby gay/lesbian bars and clubs, and transvestites up on stage right next to the goth queens in their corsets. The music is good, the drinks flow freely, it doesn't feel like a meat market and by the end of the night people are usually standing outside steaming from dancing so hard. The redhead and I went dancing on Thursday night, and we'll go again Sunday night. We've both tried and enjoyed salsa. She likes rap and hip-hop, and the way she can shake her booty after ten years of bellydancing, I can see why. I just stand back, and let the jealous guys drool on the floor. | |

It's the best exercise, and since i love music so much, it's great. We do go for the dancing and music.

I do hate being hit on though...so most of the time I just go to the gay parties with my best gay guy friend. Those guys really know how to have fun, and I can relax and dance, and get drunk and chat with all kinds of people without worrying some guy will get the wrong idea, and I never have to fight off groping hands. I don't think I will ever want to stop dancing! | |

We go to the clubs without any 'agendas' about meeting guys, we girls just wanna have fun!! It is something to look forward to...we doll up and dance the night away!!  | |

But when I do it's usually because it's a friend's birthday and they would like to celebrate by dancing. However we go to the 25+ clubs now. And it's actually not bad, people are more mature and if you step on their shoes or bump into them, they don't get pissed off and want to "cap yo a$$". | |

I dont understand why so many people refer to "clubbing" as a bad thing. I guess they are refering to it as a place to meet new friends or "partners". Can't get enough of the R/B Hip Hop music.I would like to meet more females in the area that like the same .I usually go with a gal pal and others if there are. Always looking for more to go with.
Its ALWAYS a great time and its not over till they close the doors.
