| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 3/12/2007 7:12:01 PM | | I usually go to clubs to see a live band but I've learned that its important in meeting someone if you dance. Women love to dance and love it when a man can strut his stuff on the dance floor. I unfortunately have absolutely no grace in that respect mostly due to the fact that I'm very self concious about my dancing. But I try! | |

| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 3/13/2007 12:59:00 AM | Unfortantly, I am addicted to dancing. In a like manner, it's difficult to find a woman a woman who likes dancing as much as I do. What I mean is a woman, who can dance to music and not know the lyrics. For me it's not how you dance, but how you feel when you do dance.
Majority of the time, I am afraid to take dates dancing because sometimes I would feel guilty that they are just standing there cause they didnt" know the song". The ultimate would be to dance to some 80's or house with a girl and say" do you feel that?" ,and her to reply "hell yeah". Then we would tear it up.
That's a rare find, there's just too many sing along women.

But due to lack of single friends and those that are single they will not go to clubs. They have become "old" So I need to make new friends that likes to go dancing.

| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 3/14/2007 6:56:03 PM | I am 35 years old not 75. Hell yeah I still go to the clubs! I just spent 2 and a half months in a wheelchair because of a broken hip and a broken ankle but I couldn't wait to get back to the club. As soon as I could walk, I was at the spot. As for the types of clubs I go to - it doesn't even matter to me. I love all kinds of music. I think that as long as I can get up, I will most certainly go dancing. | |

| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 3/14/2007 8:42:06 PM | it's this way.....i'm 42, i'm still breathing therefore i'm still alive, why not go to clubs and dance. dancing is a way of celebrating life.
i like going to the woodlands in wilkes barre, pa. even though the retro room plays some good music i'd much rather go to the downstairs bar. something about the dancefloor with the full length glass over looking the little brook that's next to the hotel. and during the spring and summer the patio is open as well. so, who's up for dancing?
oh, i also listen to all types of music.....and i can't wait until the party in grantville, pa at the winner's circle saloon. sure it's a country bar and we're having a meet and greet party there but it's gonna be fun........hurry up 3/24

| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 3/16/2007 6:46:31 PM | I used to wonder if I would ever slow down, lol... I don't go out as much as I used to, but I do still love to dress up and go out dancing... lose myself on the dancefloor... makes you feel so free :)
I don't think I'll ever quit, lol

| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 3/17/2007 11:51:06 AM | I LOVE to dance!! Dancing tap, jazz & ballet for 12 years of my life I most certainly miss it! Unfortunately where I live the violence is escalating now at those clubs PLUS I do not smoke and also do not drink. Mainly though, since I have left a long-term relationship I have no true friends thus noone to go and dance with. | |

| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 3/17/2007 3:50:06 PM | I love dancing but, as another poster said, the 80's ruined my dancing...I mean you do one little moonwalk nowdays and you're laughed out of the club | |

| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 3/17/2007 4:51:08 PM | Dancing clubs? Dancing? Booooring ! How 1970s-1980s (Travolta's SNF etc)!!! I "dance", not dance, and not in clubs, of course!

Anyway, most people in clubs pose, not dance! Boring!

| Do you still go to the Clubs to Dance Posted: 3/18/2007 1:00:39 AM | | I'll sometimes go out with co-workers like recently on Thur nights after work for drinks. But overall I rarely go out to bars or clubs. All my friends are married so they do the couples things. My co-workers are much younger than me so they are the only ones I can actually go out with from time to time now. | |

Posted By: carrierj1 on 3/15/2007 11 35 PM I agree so much on that. I've been living outside of DC for about 6 months and I'm starting to feel that it may be the trendiest place on earth whether it's ghetto trendy or preppy trendy. When I lived in Orlando everyone would strictly dance to their kind of music. What happened to just letting yourself go and having fun?
I sooo envy you. You actually have fun with it....
I've had 'tall goofy white guy' disease my whole life. I couldn't dance my way out of a paper bag. But I love music. In fact, I'm a musician. I truely feel it..... I would love to just let loose and 'trip the light fantastic!'......... but I can't. Now, the only time I ever get the opportunity these days is at somebodies wedding reception, or the annual X-mas party. I get dragged on the floor to embarrase the wife every year.
Cheers! | |
