As you see (or rather didnt see, lol) I was there, in SpiriT....... Melanie a life long friend, who turned me onto this site, is who I believe you are all looking for.... I shall call her and tell her to get her butt over here & clear these matters up for ya, whata ya say?

Posted: 9/15/2006 6:34:12 AM | Maybe I can clear the air on this...I attended the get together at Mulligan's with a friend of mine...another LIMO driver, who was not a "regular" of Mulligan's OR a fellow "POF'r. We came to the get together after work(hence, the "limo"clothes). When the announcement was made to be sure you get your ticket into the drawing, we had to ASK the bartender lady if we could get ours. She did not just give us one automatically as we bought our first drink. So...ours went into the drawing just like everyone elses. It was my friend...NOT me..limomominlv, who won the second ticket to Tool.(and she was a REDHEAD). She didn't even KNOW who Tool was...soooo. We happened to be sitting next to the little blonde gal who had won the first "single" ticket. So, my friend gave the girl the ticket she had won, so someone would have a "pair". The bartendress DID ask why she gave the girl her ticket and informed us that "regular's had been in all week trying to win "those" tickets and that "that just wasn't "right" of her to give it away. First of all...It was no one else's "biness" what the winners did with the tickets, and "secondly", It looked to me like everyone was having a good time...so what's the big deal? WE had a good time...sorry if this caused any misunderstanding's...and at least the "winners" didn't have to go to the concert "alone"...

She was just a "guest" of mine...a single, over 40, "regular" limo driver, maybe...hell of a karaoke'er too., and didn't know a soul there, before we walked in around 10:30 pm.

That should this thread become broken. It is hereby asked, that you consider one important thing. Therefore, purhaps tieing that thread around your finger to remind you "NOT" to jump the gun & to 1st make all attempts at resolving matters, before making threats & accusations.
To accuse someone or somebody, or to make claim, that someone or something has done something "ILLEGAL or WRONG" by way of being undesirable enough to go public & take out an ad in the local newspaper, is in my eyes, "EXTREME".
I can appreciate, that one might be so angry as to express themselves, but, I feel you went, more than slightly overboard.
You bashed several people & for what? Do the world a favor & take a anger management class or at least, work on your people skills.
The reason I say this, is because; your feelings may have been hurt, but that is "NO" excuse, to hurt others. After reading and remembering back, you said some pretty aweful things, all of which, were not necessary, as far as, Im concerned. ie: The overweight coments, the comments about the bar & how "NOT" to go there, "EVER", etc.
I would only ask, that; after this tie this thread into a nice little bow around your finger, to remind you of more than, jumping the gun.......But, that a wise man speaks of what he knows, not of what he knows, to be bulls**t. SpiriTofSinSity    | |
