I was So totally disappointed with 8MM ... and I LOVE nick cage too , that movie made NO Sense at All !!!!!
I like most Cage movies too but there is another Nick Cage movie that Blows some serious moose....but I cant remember the name of it. I do Know He drove an ambulance in it. | |

Also, I could not get into "Bad Santa", but so many people swear it's hilarious that I might try it again since it's the season... | |

Most of anything Charlie Sheen, Dolph Lungren, Van Damme and yes, even Stallone...(when was the last time this guy had a hit?) that is on the video shelf is usually pretty bad. Sylverster stallone got his start in pornography.....that was prolly pretty good. And I enjoyed First blood. Not nearly as bad as the "Rambo" flicks. Windtalkers is pretty awful too. Again the "Rambo" flicks come to mind when I watch this movie.....just awful  | |

Really, it's slickly filmed and the acting is great. But the plot is just ridiculous. I mean, really good psychological films have at their heart a plausible if unlikely and well-hidden understory. When it is revealed, you go "AHA!" "The Prestige" is like that. Wonderful film, that one. This is not like that. When the actual story is revealed, you just want it to be over. The middle part is so long, plodding, and tedious, that if the cast were picked apart by ravenous crows it would be a fine ending. | |

for those of you who don't know it's about an english kid who was born in a fish market, with an over sensitive sense of smell, and back in the days,, perfumists were all the rage.. well this kid thought beautiful women would make nice perfumes, so he goes killing these gorgeous women and "capturing" their scent.. once he get's 11, then he puts them together. since perfume is supposedly based on the idea that it takes 11 great scents to make an amazing perfume
