| | Favourite Accent Page 3 of 4 (1, 2, 3, 4) | Going by the posts on here it has become apparent that noone has ever heard the "Country bumpkin with a twang of welsh and a hint of northern and a tadge of southeast"
Trust me they also make the best lovers...

| Favourite Accent Posted: 1/13/2007 9:43:16 AM | talking about Spanish language,my favourite accent comes from the Old Castile region where they speak perfect and proper spanish.i met a woman from that place and it was always a pleasure to talk to her (it made me think "how badly we speak here in the southeast" lol)
and talking about English,i prefer the British, above all from the south where people happen to speak with a RP or BBC english which sounds more perfect, clearer, brighter and better (under my spanish point of view of course)

| Favourite Accent Posted: 1/13/2007 11:06:00 AM | I'm favouring the Californian accent, me ex has it and it's easily the best i can listen to it all day/night long. I can see about the Irish aswell, those fellas seem to be able to pull women that are way out of their league simply because of the accent. Unfortunately, the women don't realise that when they're not around he's doing it again successfully with the next. Colin Farrell anyone? | |

Yes Lilly Langtree is really is true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They are damned sexy, very sexy indeed, but lets face it, it has been a while for me, so i reckon an eskimo with a lisp offering me a pickled onion would sound quite sexy right now

Is what true?
I work with a rather loud Geordie and it's fecking annoying after 8 bleeding hours of it I'll tell ya,! I have to move to another room to get away from it
I like the soft irish accent, dunno if its southern or northern ireland but its so damn sexy

| Favourite Accent Posted: 1/13/2007 2:15:47 PM | I dont know about you lot but i just seen that fit bit of totty Jennifer Ellison you know that 1 off brookside and hells kitchen (if I was only 6mths younger) promoting her new video.
I was gobsmacked, Shes put on this fake posh accent. Completely lost that liverpudlian accent that used to make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Wrong Wrong Wrong
Is it ok to try and be someone u aint or is it no diffrent to a boob job. Should you ditch you heritage because the yanks cant understand us.
Maybe this should be a thread of it own, just cant be a$$ed tonight

| Favourite Accent Posted: 1/13/2007 2:22:57 PM | American again.... (solar plexus goes into orbit!) then Latvian (either native or broken English!) and Australian.... | |
|
| Favourite Accent Posted: 1/13/2007 2:26:23 PM | | My accent is totally warped, i'm from scotland and I spent the last 6 years in Belfast and totally picked up the accent... For the me the Irish accent / Geordie Accent are just incredible, does something to me... | |
|
| Favourite Accent Posted: 1/13/2007 6:02:39 PM | I just love the scandinavian accent expecially Norweigan. Ggrrrrrrrrrrrrr give me a Norweigan viking anyday | |
|
| Favourite Accent Posted: 1/13/2007 6:59:08 PM | I prefer romance language accents.... spanish, italian, french... because they're more euphonic... lots of mmmmmmmmm's and nnnnnnnn's and oooooooo's and aaaaaa's....not hard sounds like Kuh and Chuh and Juh... cacophanic sounding things....
Edgar Allen Poe's euphony "Quoth the raven: nevermore." is calm, soothing and resolute... peaceful.
|
| Favourite Accent Posted: 1/13/2007 8:30:11 PM | I had to laugh. I still think it's funny to think us Canadians actually have an accent, but anytime you wanna hear it, just swing on by....eh. Oh yeah, i didn't catch where ur from?

| Favourite Accent Posted: 1/13/2007 8:34:49 PM | | Okay, okay, I'm gonna go with the majority, not 'cause it's the majority, but because it's true, but I like the accent on a wee little Irlsh lad or a proper english accent on a not so proper uppercrust english guy. I recently met a man from Denmark and he also had a lovely accent. | |
|
| Favourite Accent Posted: 1/14/2007 3:05:16 AM | Southern-Irish, N.Yorkshire or French
Ulster accents.. sorry, you may be lovely people but I can't love anything that either roars or reminds me of Ian Paisley...
|
| Favourite Accent Posted: 1/14/2007 3:11:42 AM | ^^^^^hahaha so true about Ian Paisley
Should have added French, sounds great on a woman but French men just sound gay to me
|
| Favourite Accent Posted: 1/14/2007 5:28:50 AM | yes i have a real thing for accents,i like a bit of a twang in anyones accent as long as i can still understand what they are saying!
english north east are a favourite,
southern irish
a decent welsh vallies accent can be very sexy
i find southern accents a bit grating same for faux 'posh' accents
my own area's accent has to be the worst though East Midlands horrible lazy vowels
|
| Favourite Accent Posted: 1/14/2007 6:01:30 AM | | Im Irish but love the english accent its hypnotic | |
|
| Favourite Accent Posted: 1/14/2007 6:13:35 AM | Irish men sound totally gay...with their sing songy voices, lots of my Irish male friends have lived in other countries and it is an inevitable question they get asked "are you gay?" which of course they deny profusely and that is why Irish men have the reputation of being the best lovers in the whole world, I am speaking of southern Irish men here, the ones from the republic, not the northern lads.
I like the way Ron Church sounds, but I don't know what kind of accent he has, he tried to explain what it is but...well, he sounds rather nice on the phone.
|
| Favourite Accent Posted: 1/15/2007 4:17:50 PM | How about someone that dresses like they should be in Texas (and does rodeo)
Born and raised in Norn Iron (northern ireland for those not in the know), and has got that much of a mixed up accent they sound as though they are from the south country?
Personally for what I like myself, any russian, polish...etc... style accent ohhh yeah and definately not the Kahzakstan accent
|

| Favourite Accent Posted: 1/15/2007 4:58:46 PM | I am a sucker for accents #1 soft-spoken, lilting Irish #2 sophisticated English accent # French or Swiss - oo la la!
