At my age, they were seriously causing health issues (spine and neck problems, etc.) and I can't tell you what a relief it was... I no longer am subject to stares, rude remarks, and unwanted sexual attention. AND I can wear clothes I never could before, can actually shop for a bra in Target ($10 instead of $35), and ride my horse without suffering black eyes! LOL! I recommend it highly for you gals who want it... I had liposuction and it went very well -- no health problems, little pain, and I only missed ONE DAY of work! I had men calling me the night before surgery to BEG me not to do it, but it was the best decision I ever made. I wish I could have done it when I was younger. | |

I've been to some BBW clubs and sites and read threads like these, and don't see how the relationship factor is any different. There is an equal amount of men who like bigger women as those who don't, and they make equal exceptions on both sides. Any man who goes to a BBW club or dating site is just as likely to get accepted or rejected like at any other club. When I have gone to BBW clubs, I saw mostly average to thin guys there and they tend to get more attention than the BHMs. Ultimately, big and little women alike want the same thing in men; and all men are either dogs or perceived as dogs.
The real issue is that the media controls the minds of Americans.  | |

Much to the contary, we don't think all men are dogs, nor does the media portray that. You know how when you take your male dog for a walk and he has to stop and pee on every single tree? It's not much different. The problem is, that the dogs get around more and that colors the opinion of many women, making them wary and bitter. This is precisely the same phenomena that occurs when a woman that is only interested in a the money you make gets a hold of you and suddenly you think all women are gold diggers, in it for what they can get.
I am not going to sit around complaining that men don't like me because I am a larger woman. I have had my share of dogs, just like any other woman, thin or not. I have also met some really wonderful, kind, caring men that treat me well.

Ok so we are different to a certain degree. 
A persons weight shouldn't matter though, what matters is the person inside. Who they are, what they think, what makes that person unique is what should matter. Not what the scale says.
So I hate these threads labeling big girls, I especially hate the people who come in and make stupid blanket statements. "Every bbw is unhealthy or needs to exercise more"... get the hell over yourselves already. You weren't there when I went hiking this summer and you weren't there when I went biking in San Francisco last month.
The only people who have the right to make comments about someones weight... is, let's see... NO ONE! | |

barbe, I do! I do! 
The only ones I don't like are those weird artificial hard grapefruit-shaped silly-cone implant fake breasts that poke out unnaturally and bounce stiffly about [shiver] (no offense to those who have gotten and like them...just my preference). I wish more women were satisfied with having their normal natural body parts. Save your money. Be real.
