| THE FOREST AND THE WIND Posted: 11/10/2006 7:26:21 AM | Morning all,
Pickles, And Lu, Theres one saying that I have always thought was true, Any man can father a child, It takes a special man to be a dad!!! Hell 16 years later now my oldest is 23 and has two children of her own, and the other is 17 and thinks a dad is me when I have to yell at her, lol.
Chaos, anytime you need to vent or write, you are welcome here, this thread was started as a healing thread!!! We all love your work!!
Dog, What can I say, You fall inot that dad group for sure, he will love the camp out!!, Hmmm, you're not so far out of my loop as you thought, see, You can take the river rat out of nature, but you can never take natures beauty out of a river rat!!!!!! Hugs babe!!!!!!! Miss ya!!!!!!
I hope you and Ty have the best weekend. Show him the unseen!!!!!!

| THE FOREST AND THE WIND Posted: 11/13/2006 2:20:27 PM | Hiya all,
Snow covered lawns this morning A blanket of white No tracks running through it As it fell through the night
As the day broke through The children did play And yet through the school hours The snow melted away
So now the kids Are back in the door Hoping and praying Tomorrow theres more....

| THE FOREST AND THE WIND Posted: 11/16/2006 6:31:36 AM | Good Morning all,
A good nights sleep A phantom thought Always wished for But never got
Restless hours The sheep have run The night was here But now is done
I closed my eyes The alarm went off All night long A childs cough
Back and forth Up and down Out of syrup A run to town
She finally fell Into deep sleep Without a cough Without a peep
And I sat there And watched her slumber She wasn't logs she saws It was a field of lumber..........

| THE FOREST AND THE WIND Posted: 11/16/2006 8:54:15 AM | Just droppin in for a little read and walk in your woods thinking of all the good and bad that come from Courts it should be easy and simple for us to understand but this huge overpopulated land demands more ideals that for sure are upright and true but hard to hue into that sculptured plate you need to feed the kids Settlements come and go too often forgotten in daily life left to the struggles of house bound wife abandonded with little ones running the streets trying to understand people they meet in relation to relations that just aren't there to show how family is supposed to share responsibilities and burdons fall on soft hearts letting those cold misguided farts depart. Its his loss of the love light that glows from children that will eventually become his true burden unavoidable, unchangable, unwilling to stop money isn't everything when the hammer drops.
Youth is an excuse and understandable too but later in life it becomes cowardice though and through to lame to admit a loss in the game running from himself won't rearrange that name that's branded prominently on his soul deadbeat dad sure ain't much of a goal.
Now Mari remember when standing in the docket don't be fiddling around in your pockets the Judge is paid to be very serious humour is seated beside the delerious
|
| THE FOREST AND THE WIND Posted: 11/16/2006 10:53:23 AM | That was awesome Thorb, I can relate to everybit of it, I got a kick out of my judge that day, she asked me a question and didn't like the answer she got from me because it made her courts look bad even though it was true, and then had the balls to threaten me to hold back my case for an hour..... Come on Lady, after 16 years, an hour is nothing, lol
Needless to say I was there for the county and my kids, not myself, and I believe she forgot them in her act of power she tried to behold....
We won in the end anyway, lol

Guess who laughing now,
Hugs, hope all is great with you!!!

| THE FOREST AND THE WIND Posted: 11/16/2006 12:51:22 PM | These are the days of custody battles Eased to the ways to make young chattels
But those who revolve outside the court Cut to resolve this stress to a short
For no one 'wins' this game control More get poor but lawyers stroll

| THE FOREST AND THE WIND Posted: 11/19/2006 10:16:30 AM | Morning all,
The sun is out, Yet deceiving as hell by the looks of the frost out there, LMAO
Sunny, I hear ya loud and clear!!!!
Got joke for ya'll today that were e-mailed to me, I laughed so hard, Hope ya'll enjoy them as much as I did!!!
Three mischievous grandmas were sitting on a bench outside a nursing home. Soon a grandpa walked by, and one of the old grandmas yelled out, "We bet we can tell exactly how old you are."
The old man said, "There ain't no way you can guess it, you old fools."
One of the ornery grandmas said, "Sure we can! Just drop your under shorts and we can tell your exact age."
Embarrassed just a little, he dropped his drawers. The grandmas stared at him for a while, asked him to turn around a couple of times, asked him to jump up and down for a little while and then they all piped up and said, "You're 84 years old!"
"How in the world did you guess?!?"
The ornery old grandmas snickered and laughed. Slapping their knees and grinning from ear to ear, all three happily yelled in unison: "Because we were at your birthday party yesterday" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, is this the Sheriff's Office?"
"Yes. What can I do for you?" "I'm calling to report 'bout my neighbor Virgil Smith....He's hidin' marijuana inside his firewood! Don't quite know how he gets it inside them logs, but he's hidin' it there." "Thank you very much for the call, sir."
The next day, the Sheriff's Deputies descend on Virgil's house. They search the shed where the firewood is kept. Using axes, they bust open every piece of wood, but find no marijuana. They sneer at Virgil and leave.
Shortly, the phone rings at Virgil's house. "Hey, Virgil! This here's Floyd....did the Sheriff come?" "Yeah!" "Did they chop your firewood?" "Yep!" "Happy Birthday, buddy!" (Rednecks know how to git-R-dun)

| THE FOREST AND THE WIND Posted: 11/19/2006 6:41:00 PM | I am that woman!
Smitten with grief Where is Hulda’s solace? Where is Hulda’s peace? Right before this sacred ark ye disrespect and discredit women?!!! The root of man’s core, the rhythm in man’s shore, the vibration in man’s Spirit that we yearn forevermore. Ye scoundrel… my mother is all women… that carried the burden of a mere seed donor’s dastardly deed… such miscreantry! That rejected serpent!
Did ye not reckon that logo’s was birthed through the sacred fecundity of an angelic woman? And ye love her?!!! But therefore no further reason than pride Ye despise, suppress and subtly contrive against her?!!! Ye merited rightly thy misery Thy melancholic irony attached to thy face I replace thy masculinity with spit Ye leeching tick! I flick thee to Belial! Thus ye learneth not to Blaspheme!!!

| THE FOREST AND THE WIND Posted: 11/20/2006 7:28:52 AM | Morning all,
Hiya N and W, Welcome to this sode of the pond!!!
Hometown Blues
I spent the day in my old hometown So many things were rearranged My old stomping grounds had grown And my place of childhood had changed
Condos and water front built up The nature being under plowed Old friends homes now parking lots And the quiet little town now loud
Schools I attended were torn down Malls have turned into corporate space Stillwater has moved on with out me I no longer there have my place
Just as time has moved forward So has the memories left behind Life transforms as we grow older Our meaning is within it that we find……..

| THE FOREST AND THE WIND Posted: 11/21/2006 6:42:17 AM | Morning all,
Dog, some how I got that, lol We can’t stop change, but we can find ways to hide it, hahahahaha Just stay away from the wax……….. LMAO
The fast lane
Bridges are meant to allow passage Be it over or under it’s frame Showboats sail beneath it’s lift Car’s race over in life’s speed game
Paddleboats take in the rivers beauty The car’s see nothing but distance The pontoon’s glide effortlessly below The cars break the wind’s resistance
Either way it’s the forgotten bridge Replaced by modern technology Torn down in it’s prime Left to the dust of anthropology
What once was the only way Will be just an indent of the past Stop and see the bridges in life Time has never moved so fast…….

The house that rested
Filled with laughter and joy Tales of thanks and desires Meals fit for queens and kings And peace for all it’s sires
One night of calming One night of sleep Now filled again And now not a peep
Grandma’s got the touch The baby’s eyes have drifted The grandson too is quiet His dreams now have shifted

Love and happiness Is all that’s requested In this home tonight Now the house that rested…..
Good night ya’ll Be blessed with what you have!!!!!!!!!!!!

Atop this mighty rock I stand, The moon and the stars are my company, A gentle breeze caresses my face, My long hair dances with the breeze. I am not alone, Mother Earth is here with me. . .
My eyes close, and I see yesterday, I take a deep breath, and I release today, Compelled, I sing to the Creator, Thank you for today. . .
To my ancestors in the sky, Look into my soul, look into my heart, Pass down the your wisdom, so we do not part That I may tell your stories to our children's children,
Others may laugh, others may ridicule, But the treasure we pass down is sacred and with honor, Will you hold your tongue and let your heart listen?
I seek redemption from Mother Earth. . .

The nightly moon shines majestically, She gives light along with the stars, She is the lamp to help me see the prairies I walk.
The nightly sky. . . Home to the Heavens, Home to the wishes of many.
Whether we seek love or answers, Whether we seek closure or wisdom, The nightly sky is where we should look to.
Tonight, the sacred wolves howl through the night, Besides the moon and the stars, I am not alone, In reverance and honor, I take a bow.
My soul and heart are calm, I am ready now, I have come to seek the wisdom of the ages past, A journey I have tasked myself with. . .
Call me a fool, call me lost, This is the price of a journey, And now, I am ready.
I now look to the skies and seek its wisdom. . .
