Her wrinkled hands I held
As quietly mind-memories
Were released from where they dwelled.
“Suppertime!” she shouted,
(Out our back-porch door),
On a sunshine day.
But … fifty years before
“Don’t do that”, she’d warned,
“Your eyes might STAY that way”,
Another of her cautions
Which helped me make it to, today.
A million clothes she’d washed,
Ten million dishes, too
With these very hands I held
Before her day was through.
Smiles would cross her face
As she watched a town parade
Or when a friend or neighbor
Provided an accolade
Her hands were there so fragile
And the strength once there – was gone
But the essences that drove them
Were from where my strength is drawn
Constantly there’s a reminder, and
Though she’s gone – and left me
She lives within me, still
Strength and inspiration, Mom, you left as legacy. | |

My mom is going down hill
Dad is holding his own
Confussion in my mothers eyes
No words in her tone
Daughter and I love it here
Except for the sorrow
But we take everyday with Mom
Praying she has another tomorrow
Still haven't met up with the dog
We are all busted and broke
Planning a fishing trip soon
He says Hello all with a toke!
So FLorida we do love
My daughter and I
Laid on Anna Maria Island today
And watched the waves roll by!!

In her graying eyes

Yet she wants to fight
The pain is taking over
Son she’ll be in flight

Above the mountains and the seas

For now she stares so helpless
Knowing the battle she will not win
But grateful to know her wisdom

I started out
Nice and slow
With every rythem
I did go
Oh, I twisted
Oh I turned
Up and down
Until it burned
With every thrust
I wanted more
Until sensation
Stripped my core
I let out moans
And then a scream
I could have sworn
It was a dream
My back was arching
Side to side
Emotions erupted
Until I cried
My body went limp
I had to give in
I shouted out
Ok, you win
Layed back gently
My thoughts of "wow"

had a stroke
a few years back
and is still paralyzed
on her right side
living is hard for her
theres no saving
anyone
that isnt lost
now is the time
to help her be
comfortable
feel loved
and let her know
shes a great Mom
:)
death has become an easy exit
as the conclusion of this path
28 in 8 years in my circle
including my Dad
and fiance
Im sure before my cycle is complete
I shall add greatly to that number
