| Kansas City Chiefs Posted: 10/12/2006 1:02:09 AM | Huard did just win the AFC offensive player award | |
| Kansas City Chiefs Posted: 10/12/2006 2:21:52 PM | | the chiefs are in a world of shit now. the steelers have gone to shady acres and wheeled chad brown back to the team. it seems sam huff was unavailable. | |
| Kansas City Chiefs Posted: 1/1/2007 1:02:35 AM | | well...the fat lady has sung...hell has ice forming on the outer surfaces...but the Kansas City Chiefs managed to eek their way into the Wildcard spot for the playoff run! Who'd a thunk such a thing? I mean, after losing a game they should have won in Cleveland to take the driver seat for the wildcard race...they basically eliminated themselves from post season play. But, a few small miracles this past Sunday, and they find themselves with a ticket to Indianapolis!!! An uphill battle for sure...but can the miracles continue??? Go Chiefs Go! | |
| Kansas City Chiefs Posted: 1/1/2007 8:44:43 AM | | Ohhhhhhh my baby the chiefs are on to da playofffffffffs. loook out. theres gonna be a big load of L.J for that Indy run defense to stop | |
| Kansas City Chiefs Posted: 1/2/2007 5:34:54 AM | Oh how I love my Chiefs! They backed into the play-offs so bad! I think Indy is gonna go down to the Chiefs running game, but... They need to get their secondary together and quick!
I guess all us Chief fans owe the 49 ers a big wet kiss!
| Kansas City Chiefs Posted: 1/2/2007 11:30:56 AM | backed into the playoffs?
no way. After hearing Herman Edwards interview...you can only think that we deserved this. We won our game. It's not our fault teams lost...if they won like we did..they would be in. We Won..We go on. Chiefs Deserve it!
| Kansas City Chiefs Posted: 1/3/2007 6:14:23 AM | Ya...I read that interview. He is the coach and is doing his job by rally the team. I say hats off to Herm for getting the team all fired up. But...LUCK PLAYED A MAJOR PART of the playoff bid. But thats the NFL baby... Go CHIEFS! | |
| Kansas City Chiefs Posted: 1/4/2007 6:35:32 AM | First off, I still support Hermy...Secondly you have to realize Herm is a media genius--he says just enough to keep them guessing. Third, Hermy is going into do or die mode...when it's playoff time and he's in it he pulls the players that aren't doing well. So if Green starts gettin shady you can bet your sweet a$$ that Huard will be on his way into the game.
How much is there to guess when he goes run run pass punt? Every defense in the league knew what we were coming at em with...thank God he finally let Solari open up the books a little bit and have some trick plays like the flea flicker early in the Jax game. We are damned lucky to be in the playoffs this year...we really did not have a playoff caliber team...Thank the football gods for Lamar and Stram and DT being up there watching over these boys and giving them that lil extra push to get into the playoffs and shoving the Donkeys right out of it.
Thank gosh we are playing the worst run defense in the NFL this round. Next round we won't be so lucky...it's the Chargers. But I'm thinking if these boys can get fired up enough we can stuff LT and let LJ have the reigns.
Lastly...as being one of the few but damn proud Chiefs fans here in Tennessee all I gotta say is GO CHIEFS!! Bring the Hunt trophy and the Lombardi trophy back home where they belong...1 Arrowhead Drive!!
| Kansas City Chiefs Posted: 1/5/2007 10:04:27 AM | | You GOT to be kidding... NFC, Chief's winners? Give me a break. If they can't take "home & home games from Denver and at least one {which they happened to do} they would never pair up in the NFC | |
| Kansas City Chiefs Posted: 1/6/2007 9:56:53 PM | | a piss-poor showing from the KC chiefs against the colts, who didn't play up to par themselves......Herm edwards should have reminded his offense to show up for the game. | |
| Kansas City Chiefs Posted: 1/6/2007 10:42:49 PM | | i cant stop watching the replays...this was pathetic. We finally got a good game out of our defense and it was the stupid offense that was the problem now...how does it happen. Im still in disbelief with no firts downs in the first half and a freaking -4 passiong yards at half. Absolutely Pathetic. However, im still happy that they gave it a some what of a fight...and they actually made the playoffs. it was a good step to take i guess | |
| Kansas City Chiefs Posted: 1/8/2007 6:11:21 AM | "Thank gosh we are playing the worst run defense in the NFL this round"
How did that work out? Became the first team all year to not rush for 100yds on the Colts. Chiefs(and a couple of their fans it seems) got a little overconfident. Yes the Colts run D has struggled but you dont win over 50 regular season games over the last four years without a little defense....i don't care how good your offense is.
KC thought they would roll into Indy, have LJ rush for a couple hundred, then on to the next round. Instead, KC couldn't have been more predictable if Schottenhiemer were still there. People forget Dungy is a pretty good defnesive mind. He gameplanned well and they benefitted from Bob Sanders return(he makes a huge difference in their run support).
Herm got outcoached....plain and simple.....again.
| Kansas City Chiefs Posted: 1/8/2007 9:40:28 AM | So true! The Chiefs thought they could run! 1st half...no first downs...total yards like 8? OMG! We shoulda rolled over and let the Donkey's go... We shamed the AFC West by just showing up. And how about Trent Green. If recievers had hands on their feet well then maybe they could have caught the ball. | |
| Kansas City Chiefs Posted: 8/29/2009 11:21:11 AM | | New Season...new prospects...new coaches... What do you think??? I realize it is still rebuild time...but... can more than 2 games be won this season? Your thoughts... | |
| Kansas City Chiefs Posted: 9/20/2009 4:08:20 PM | | No, it's going to be another tough year for them Chefs. New system, not enough quality players to fill the holes. Not sure Cassel is the answer, either. | |

No, it's going to be another tough year for them Chefs
....you bet, they got beat by the Faiders this time.........offense didn't have too much punch!
| Kansas City Chiefs Posted: 9/23/2009 5:55:14 PM | | I tell ya I am surprised, but its still early. Cassel has a lot of potential. | |
| Kansas City Chiefs Posted: 9/23/2009 6:04:50 PM | How does a team gain 400 yards in offence and score only 10 points?
As for Cassels, $63M is an awfully steep price for potential. I'll believe it when I see it. I'm one of those who says he was the product of a system in New England and not worth nearly what he got.

| Kansas City Chiefs Posted: 10/27/2009 5:56:38 PM | | Yeah I don't know whats up with KC this year i'd thought they would turn things around, but instead they aren't looking any better then last year. I mean, maybe owners are a little too quick to pull the trigger on current head coaches and run and and get new head coahes thinking that will always solve their problem. I mean right now we are seeing 2 winless teams that have 2 new head coaches and a pair of 1 win teams that have new head coaches. | |
