So Thursday this week?? as long as no-one objects. Does anyone know where there is an actual wing night special on in RD on thursdays??
I'll do some digging and see what I can find out. But if nothing comes up, why not plan for Bo's, our usual favourite place to go!! | |

i had a blast!....but is there not more than 10 people in Red Deer that come out to this event or events....seems lyke the whole thread are the people i met....on friday!

Posted: 12/3/2006 3:08:15 PM | Ummmm. Sorry to disappoint you Sportster. We usually have wing nights on Wddnesday but since a few people have prior engagements on Wednesdays (refer to idle chat about Naked Glow Bowling) we have it on Thursdays every other week.
I think last week was kind of a random fluke - one of those nights that turns out great despite an absolute lack of planning! Great people getting together and having great fun! You can't PLAN that kind of stuff.
And no, sorry to disappoint, but there are usually only 5 or 6 people at our wing nights. So yes, you probably did meet the whole Red Deer contingent of POF'ers who come out of their hidey holes more than once a blue moon (except for me cause I was outta town). What can I say? Apparently we are a town of hibernators. Shame really.
However, if there is no other interest, we will just go to Bo's as usual, but no wing deals. We like to accomodate all the red deer POF'ers who are brave enough to come and join us, so this week is THURSDAY for the naked glow bowlers who are busy on Wednesday.
Does this make sense? is anyone else confuzzled? | |

Yes Friday was an absolute unplanned fluke and was a blast and we will have to plan another one oops their comes that word plan again. there's 700+ females between the age of 25-50 within 25 miles....the same #'z for men!

Posted: 12/3/2006 9:30:20 PM | omg friday was a BLAST!!! Unfortunately, it was also a fluke for me. Wing night always falls on a night I either don't have a sitter or am too broke to consider going anywhere 
o well....I had enough fun to make up for missing it the past 6 or so weeks!!! 
I'll definitely make the effort to get out again soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep,. TCPL, it was decided (by a unanimous vote of mine) that Thursday at Bo's this week was the plan. No one else, other than Calgary peeps, had much to say. Havent heard from the cohorts who are able to attend. Perhaps everyone is busy with Christmas parties and christmas shopping and christmas kissing or whatever? Either way, I'll be there, propping up the bar or something.... :O) | |
