I totally agree with the OP, meets are great and if you are a little shy about going (just as I was at my very first one), there are a lot of friendly peeps who will chat to ya.
The site is great and really does work, this is where I met my partner Si, we've been together almost 3 months now.

Posted: 7/9/2007 2:28:34 PM | Hiya, I am Si and as you can see, I met the very gorgeous and wonderful Tinks on POF so yes, it does work. After attending an amazing party in Nottingham, I then decided to try and host some parties in Leeds, so yeah, meets are the best!
But alas! I am off to Gibraltar in September so I shall soon be kicked off the UK forums due to not being in the UK!

and i will say 99.9 percent of people i have met or crossed emails with have been very genuine and lovely people. But do attend a meet they are not what you think at all...great fun. xx | |
