Sense of humor. If he doesn't "get" my humor, he certainly isn't going to "get" me.

"So Ladies, which do you prefer, the strong silent type or the outgoing guy with a sense of humor?"

They don't know.

They want to bad boys and then they don't. They want to strong and silent one... then thay don't...

I will tell you what I would like: A Women-into-English dictionary.

Can I have the strong-with-a-sense-of-humour type? That sounds good.

.

Interesting! I guess I’m out for most of the distaff set here. LOL

I love a woman with a little spirit to her. But, she cannot be thin skinned if she wants to kid me cause I’ll give it back in spades.

On the other hand, according to my professional psychobabble expert gal-friends, I have the unique ability to make a depressed woman who cries at the drop of the hat instantly stop that and laugh. What’s that all about? I don’t really know. What I know is that I do not allow people around me to act depressed because that is silly. So, yeah, I say something. . . .

Yup, I can be the strong silent type when I wish. Or, I can keep the group at the bar laughing. But I will never be an enabler, and I will never allow friends to sit on the pity-pot too long.

The strong silent type “when needed”?? LOL

Well I tend to think that a balance of the two is the best way to go.. I love to laugh but at the same time I do want someone who knows when to be toned down and more aware of what is being said.. People are very picky so just be yourself and someone great will come your way one day.

...I like a little of both, add in a smidge of intelligence and a dash of sincerity and you've got yourself a match.

Articulate, funny, good sense of fun....I appreciate that in anyone. Male or female. But from a dating perspective intelligence and wit=turn on!

I find it so funny that women are always saying how they want a guy who is confident, witty, and has a great sense of humour. But at the same they complain about players. Well guess what??? These are the qualities that most players have!!! Women flock to these guys, and then wonder why they end up getting dumped for other women. Think about it. If you meet a guy who sweeps you off your feet with his charm (confidence+humour+witty=charm), do you really think you are the only girl he has this effect on? I mean if this guy is that charming to you, don't you think he will be charming with tons of other women as well? Do you really want a guy that tons of other women are swooning for?

The "strong silent type" are less outgoing and don't show their wit and humour at every opportunity, (doesn't mean they don't have any, they just may be more picky about who they share it with). Because of that, women will tend to not notice these guys. But the women who do end up giving these guys a chance, just might find that once the guy comes out of his shell a bit, he is just as funny and witty as the more outgoing guys. The only difference is, that it is a part of his personality that he chooses only to share with her, and not every woman that he meets.

But I guess women know what they want (), and that is what they will continue to chase, and they will continue to complain that "ALL" men are dogs.

A sense of humor ... definitely.

I once lived with someone who had no sense of humor whatsoever. I laugh and joke around a lot and he didn't appreciate it at all. Once he actually said to me - Everything is just a big joke to you, isn't it?

What can I say? I'm a happy person. I don't stress out over every little thing. Life is just too short.

Needless to say, we are no longer together.

I use to be the silent type but then I came out of my shell(shy) in college and now I have a great sense of humour . I always did . Just never spoke up to much but when I did ..I floored you and most people just looked at me shocked that I would say something so funny.
Now I make people laugh all the time with my saracism or funny stories.

But can you handle being picked on and subjected to massive amounts of sarcastic humour? That usually comes as a part of that package.

Interesting..

Thinking back, quite a few women have enjoyed my sense of humor..

Lately i've been thinking, I've been thinking abouut the past and all.

The woman I've known, the times I've had..

Many women do enjoy a sense of humor.

But looks do seem matter more to them, that if you are funny..

I do have to disagree. Women think of looks before anything else..

Otherwise, i'd get getting women all over me..:P
