Strong silent type or a sense of humor?
Posted: 11/12/2006 6:23:20 AM

It is hands down the "strong silent type" for me. That's exactly what my boyfriend is. He's not going to be all ridiculous and acting a fool in public.

I knew that was my answer but I read all the posts and quoted this one below because that poster is exactly right. We can talk on the phone for hours. Or we can snuggle without saying a word. And he makes me smile and laugh every single day without ever embarressing me. You "could" get a guy with too much of a "sense of humour"

Perhaps a better question would be-
Strong silent type or a jokster?
The OP implies that "strong silent types" don't have a "sense of humour"
Lots of "strong silent types" have great "senses of humour". They just are more reserved in public

The "strong silent type" are less outgoing and don't show their wit and humour at every opportunity, (doesn't mean they don't have any, they just may be more picky about who they share it with). Because of that, women will tend to not notice these guys. But the women who do end up giving these guys a chance, just might find that once the guy comes out of his shell a bit, he is just as funny and witty as the more outgoing guys. The only difference is, that it is a part of his personality that he chooses only to share with her, and not every woman that he meets
