| More trouble in the Church Singles Group Posted: 11/6/2006 8:33:24 AM | | rd how can you in all conscience let this piece of human garbage stay in your church for one more minute ? a registered sex offender shouldnt be allowed anywhere near children and as for teaching a class on the subject of sexual temptation ? how would you feel if you were a parent of one of the kids/people whoever and you found out that a churchgoer knew that the tutor was a registered sex offender and had said nothing ? print out as many copies of the information as necessary, and see how fast public reaction does your job for you, hes got the brass neck to be doing what he is simply because of people like yourself who dont feel easy or good about ratting them out, how would this guys past victims feel if they knew what he was doing ? theyd rat him out pronto, thats the mind set you should adopt and protect the kids in your church, sexual temptation indeed is being laid right in his lap, they dont change theyre spots, do it | |

| More trouble in the Church Singles Group Posted: 1/25/2008 4:13:06 PM | Billy-Ray was a preacher's son And when his daddy would visit he'd come along When they'd gather 'round and started talkin' Is when Billy would take me walkin' A' through the backyard we'd go walkin' And then he'd look into my eyes And lord knows to my surprise
The only one who could ever reach me Was the son of a preacher man The only boy who could ever teach me Was the son of a preacher man Yes he was, yes he was Oh, yes he was
Being good isn't always easy No matter how hard I'd try When he started sweet-talkin' to me He'd come and tell me everything is all right He'd kiss and tell me everything is all right And can we get away again tonight?
The only one who could ever reach me Was the son of a preacher man The only boy who could ever teach me Was the son of a preacher man Yes he was, yes he was Oh, yes he was
How well I remember The look that was in his eyes Stealin' kisses from me on the sly Takin' time to make time Tellin' me that he's all mine Learnin' from each other's knowing Lookin' to see how much we been growin'
And the only one who could ever reach me Was the son of a preacher man The only boy who could ever teach me Was the son of a preacher man Yes he was, yes he was Oh The only one who could ever reach me Was the son of a preacher man The only boy who could ever teach me Was the son of a preacher man

| More trouble in the Church Singles Group Posted: 1/25/2008 5:42:29 PM | There have been occasions inwhich the young person is the manipulator in the situation. Teachers have to be careful in how they deal with adolescents because of this. In any case, a stable adult would agree to any unbiased investigation and stay away from children. What catches my eye is that he is now in a position of leadership in such a short amount of time. Christians are taught to be trusting and their children are taught to be obedient. This situation sets up a market of victims.
Granted we have all sinned but still, you don't make alcoholics communion stewards and pedophiles youth ministers. In the first case, you risk the damage of the steward, in the second, you risk both the sinner and the innocent.

I am a firm believer in locking up child molesters for the rest of their lives as they are not able to reform.

| More trouble in the Church Singles Group Posted: 1/25/2008 10:55:39 PM | | To update you on this situation that I posted here a year and a half ago, not long after my last post here, the Church did indeed inform this guy that he was no longer welcome. He was asked to leave. It seems that when he told the Ministers about his background when he arrived there, he left out some details and lied about other details. Somebody close to the situation fianally went and blew the whistle. I have no idea of his whereabouts now. | |
