| What does music do for you Posted: 1/19/2008 3:28:05 PM | I am one whose love of music, lifts the SPIRIT of eternal life, I love the Bluegrass Gospel where the instuments are in perfect timing and the harmony of the voices together are like the crystal sound of bells ringing here on earth. MUSIC-makes me happy on the inside, Free from the druggery of living, it makes all the problems of the word disappear. It literally moves any mountain, I can't climb. I sing it, I dream it, I love it---It is MY WORLD.. AND Blues and Jazz are alternates I listen to---It is the SOUL music, from the heart, uncut, unclassified and freely flowing! PEACE CAN BE FOUND THRU THE SOUND OF MUSIC---Oh YES! | |

| What does music do for you Posted: 1/19/2008 10:13:12 PM | music is such a big part of my life I don't know what I'd do without it
there was a time where I did sell my guitar due to some issues realting to an ex of mine . . .which I won't do again . . . .lol
after not having a guitar and getting one about a year ago and working the marbles out of my fingers to play again made me realize how much I really should keep my playing around and how it does define so much about me, as well as set me apart from everybody "in the crowd" so to speak

| What does music do for you Posted: 1/22/2008 8:15:49 AM | Music is the most important thing in my life. I have become a music lover at age 5, started playing guitar at 15 and been a music lover since. When I listen to music, it makes me happy and alive, I would be lost without it | |

| What does music do for you Posted: 1/24/2008 10:01:31 AM | I couldn't imagine life without music, it does so much for everyone. It is very difficult to say exactly what it does for me regularly. Concerts are the best though, you get a live band with a high energy level, and just relaxs, and fires you up at the same time. What else can honestly do that? | |

| What does music do for you Posted: 1/24/2008 12:25:28 PM | | The right song at the right time can improve my day 1000 percent. A song that evokes meloncholy in me can bring me down for the rest of the day, but there are some days when I need to hear that song and others like it. In short music is essential to my world and I couldn't imagine life without it. I guess that's why I enjoy "American Pie" so much (as sung by Dan McLean as opposed to Madonna). What would this world be like if music literally died? I dread to even think about it. | |

| What does music do for you Posted: 2/21/2008 9:53:43 PM | Just hearing a song that I love when I haven't heard it in a long time really brightens my day. Or even if I've heard it a thousand times, it's just the fact that they would play it in a spot away from my house is rewarding lol. Youtube is great since I can pretty much pull up most of my favorite songs from the '80s! It is awesome to be able to listen to Huey Lewis and the News, Paul Carrack, Genesis, Phil Collins, and Motley Crue all in the same day and right on my PC lol.
Music is such a big part of my personality. It's a healthy obesssion! I do like knowing about such artists like Jeffrey Osborne and Freddie Jackson when so many people my age have no clue who those people are lol. I just can't really get into today's music. I lvoe to ehar songs and remember how I felt as a little kid hearing it! A lot of my music memories are tied to the local pool.
There's nothing quite like hearing Steve Perry's "Oh Sherrie" on a sunny sumemr afternoon or Bobby Brown's "Every Little Step". Yep thsoe were at the pool along with The Escape Club's "Wild, Wild, West", Robert Palmer's "Addicted to Love", and plenty more! I was fortuante to experience the great days of music and now it can't even come clsoe to those many cherished memories! It's those tiems that led to my love of the '80s! There will never be another decade of music that can come close to its magic lol.

| What does music do for you Posted: 8/20/2008 10:51:14 AM | | It's inspiring, and is my reason for waking up in the morning. It's made me who I am today. I love everything to do with music, listening, performing, writing, watching a good concert. Writing is therapeutic. Playing some music is therapeutic as well and sets me right into meditation mode. My biggest fear as a musician is losing my hearing. I'm not sure I could live with that. | |
