| ALBANY NY WOMEN.... Posted: 4/11/2007 2:48:10 PM |
so where are all the upstate men?
I think they all went south for the winter
|
| ALBANY NY WOMEN.... Posted: 4/13/2007 8:47:32 PM | | I think anything north of Westchester Co. is UPSTATE NY. Matter a fact WE upstate people would be much better off giving everything south of WhitePlains BACK to the indians LOOK at the TAX money we would save. Our local country radio station calls all those folk moving up here from the great apple ....CITYITS...true ..how true | |

| ALBANY NY WOMEN.... Posted: 4/14/2007 6:42:12 AM | | I spent most of my life living in the Albany area (Schenectady county) and moved to Rochester almost 2 years ago. I thought I would continue to be upstate, and I guess to people in the city it is (why should they bother to get our geography right?)... but I was surprised to learn that now I'm a WESTERN New Yorker. Guess I'd better get me one of those big stetsons... and a horse. | |

| ALBANY NY WOMEN.... Posted: 6/11/2007 4:24:59 PM | Schoharie is just S'cary County. Just make sure the you know who's turn the lights out when they leave.
Pretty much anything above Yonkers is upstate and western NY is really just another provence of Canada.
Rumour has it that Fluty and the Bills just lost the Grey Cup for the fourth time.

| ALBANY NY WOMEN.... Posted: 11/11/2007 3:09:35 PM | Hey I am north of Watertown by 50+ miles does that mean I am in upstate NY ?? | |
|
| ALBANY NY WOMEN.... Posted: 11/18/2007 7:34:02 AM | Yes Mike, I know where you are and you are upstate NY. FYI - got a friend who is a meteorologist and "weather" wise upstate NY is anything above Albany and as far west as Utica. For those of you in the boroughs or NYC, EVERYTHING north of you is upstate! duh
Inquiring minds want to know who's pic is so hot you had to post a chat request here just to get her attention?
As an upstate woman in Colonie (suburb of Albany) I want to know where are all the local upstate men who didn't go south for the winter? The only ones I've seen are those that have bulked up and appear to hibernate year round!
all you New Yorkers wherever you are!

| ALBANY NY WOMEN.... Posted: 2/27/2008 8:32:02 AM | OMG, where did all those beautiful women go? I lived upstate(guilderland) years ago, and I met many beautiful women from there. Could it have been the fact that I'm a NYC guy, born in the Bronx that they like?........................
Did you guys ever hear of Sneaky Petes in Latham and Saratoga?.............I know it's gone now, but I do remember the ladies I've met.....WOW talk about beautiful!
Guys, you need to get some lessons in charm, they are there, you just need to get them out of the wood work

| ALBANY NY WOMEN.... Posted: 6/24/2008 7:43:29 AM | I'm in Ulster County and I am in Southern NY State. Rochester is in Western NY and Massena is in Upstate NY. NYC is NYC! And Albany, well Albany is (my opinion) central NY along with Syracuse. | |
|
| ALBANY NY WOMEN.... Posted: 7/12/2008 5:53:14 PM | Hmm.... I always thought the geography went this way.. - NYC & Long Island = Downstate - Kingston - Poughkeepsie - Albany = Upstate - Utica - Syracuse = Central NY - Rochester = Western NY - Saratoga - Lake George = Northeastern NY - Warrensburg - Malone = Northern NY ...I could be wrong, but since I've lived here for 41 years..I doubt it. | |

| ALBANY NY WOMEN.... Posted: 8/17/2008 8:26:57 AM | | I grew up in the Albany area and according to a guy I knew in Brooklyn anything north of Westchester is upstate, in the midwest if you tell folks you are from New York they immediately assume the city, so I told everyone I was from Vermont which is where I have ended up for the moment but I spend all my time in Albany working...so there's my 2 cents.. :) | |
