| What exactly are men looking for?????

I can understand where going through a divorce would have you confused on some of us other guys. I wanted to contact you before but you're not looking for long term and that's what I'd prefer. I think we all have a general idea of what we want... it's a matter of if we would settle for less than what we had hoped for.
I don't have any real pre-conceived notion of what my perfect mate (or close to perfect mate) would really be. I'm pretty open on that.
Just someone that's not out for a quick roll in the hay... And even that might be nice once in a while. Who knows.

Basically I'm amendable to a relationship with a person with a vagina, who weighs less than I do, doesn't lie too much and doesn't try to boss me around. I suppose I'd have to throw a few of those priorities away though because that's just the reality of the world we live in. Oh well. | |

" the person who will be there when we are sick,when we are getting old,,,when,,,," to see a couple of seniors out,,,they act like they are on thier first date,,,for thier date never ended,,the grace,the mutal respect,,,they are "with each other",,,,yes men and women seek that person who is emotionaly secure,,,who is sensualy secure,,and sexuality is secure,,, because to discover such person the mutal ability to communicate on all levels ,,all aspects need to be open,honest,respectful,,and yes secure in who they are,,,Men seek exactly the same thing as women,,,the biggest issue is there are those who are insecure to communicate in a wide open and mature manner,,
What is amazing is relationships of all types fail because even when they had that person they sought,,,they failed to communicate,,so the other found someone who would,,,yet if communication was so good there is never a reason to look or even glance elsewhere,,,so if one is affarid to communicate what they seek and communicate back openly,honestly and with class and respect,,,they are wasting each others time and emotions,,,

Either they lie about what they look like or tell you everything they think you want to hear. Then the truth prevails! I did meet this guy on here and in the back of my mind I thought to myself he is too good to be true! And he was! Turned out he is a whore- just a online whore! I want a lady who makes me hold my breath when I look at her ... (What is that ... I don't know till it happens ... her eyes, the curve between her hips and her chest, the way her hair falls over her face ... I'll know it when I see it)
I want a lady who can talk ... do you like to discuss things .. i like a brain ... politics, theater, wines, horses (yep ... just a damn cowboy), music (not hip hop or rap), IDEAS, science ... you know .. intelligent conversation.
A kinky outlook on life (yep .. might include sex .. that's for discovery)
I've had a complicated path through life (yea ... I have made mistakes) ... I want to feel she will understand (I don't look for approval except from my mother)
Takes time to know a person ... I'm
not getting married next week, not moving in together next month ... I want to wake up one morning and realize ... I can't live without her.
Sex ... of course ... I'm a human ... I consider that a part of a growing relationship.
Good food ... not just a plate of something at local hog trough (I don't like buffet)
Dancing ... I like to hold the lady in my arms and look into her eyes.
I don't talk for hours on the phone
I do like to meet for coffee and sit and talk
So simple what one likes ... isn't it?

Posted: 10/29/2006 5:01:33 AM | Looks are not the most important thing when it comes to a partner for me. The thing I cannot handle is a female that is overweight or when a female doesn't take care of herself in general.
If I'm allowed to be picky, which I don't see how I can be, what I want probably doesn't exist. Will I settle for half of the things I want in woman? Maybe, I don't know it depends on the woman. This is why you can't really ask what it is that men want. The truth is every person is different. I've dated women that I thought had a lot of qualities that I enjoyed and it still didn't work out. So what a man wants could never be constant even if we wanted it to be because no two women are ever the same, and some of the forces that attract two people to each other are still unknown. | |

You didn't specifically mention sex, or is that supposed to be an assumption related to the older whiskey and the younger women??

Guys who want to **** you and never see you again, guys who want to stay with you long term so they can **** you regularly, and guys who want compainionship and love more than sex, but they still want sex. The first guy doesn't care about personality, and the third kind of guy would care a great deal about personality and is quite possibly hoping to get married first. Nobody, however, wants to go out with a really ugly girl over a pretty good looking one. Likewise, we tend to hate girls who are either neurotic or whiney, especially whiney. On a scale of 1-10, personality can add at least 2 or three points to a girl's score in real life situations. Question answered? | |
