| Favorite Dog Breed? Posted: 10/28/2006 7:28:55 PM | | I like 'em big, and old. The most amazing dog I've ever known, her breed was a border collie, so damn smart. There's something about the big ones...that just bust my heart. Like how the bed tilts to one side when they sleep with you, or how they break your legs when they jump up on the couch to "cuddle wit'chu" hahahaha. Little dogs are just so ..."cute" and not much else. YAY. | |

| Favorite Dog Breed? Posted: 10/28/2006 7:45:47 PM | I have a lovable Pit Terrier mix. She's beautiful and loves to play. Still in the puppy stage at 60+ lbs. I can't say one breed is my favorite. There are so many that I like, big and small. I just say pick a dog that reacts to your every move. There should be a good attention span in a dog like that. More likely to be trainable. If you have a dog, just love it and it will find the way. If you don't, you're missing out. | |

| Favorite Dog Breed? Posted: 10/28/2006 10:55:57 PM | That would be the Giant Schnauzer. Being a profesional dog person I have seen a ton of good dogs and not so good dogs as well. The Giant Schnauzer is Not over bred and has a wonderfull disposition. Plus, they do not shed. The secret to a good dog besides coming from good lines is "proper early" socialization. I mean starting at 8 weeks of age. | |

| Favorite Dog Breed? Posted: 10/29/2006 7:23:24 AM | | German Shepards for years was the best....and then along came a Blue Queensland Heeler...MAN! was that one hell of a dog!! Bellfree was my daugthers dog and I heard later that they are so smart that they will attach themselves to a better master...well I walked my daugther and Bell across town a few times and she then started to show up at my house everyday! I never worked with her to train her...but she was so smart and any comand I gave her she did in a heart beat...she slept right next to me on the floor loved kids....and going to yard sales...sniff...sniff I miss her! | |

| Favorite Dog Breed? Posted: 10/29/2006 9:25:44 AM | | I am partial to German Shepherd Dogs. I gew up with them, (Well, if you want to call ME grown up) had them in my early adult years. I don't have one now, but, I will get around to another one soon. They are very smart, great with kids, protective as can be, great pals and big babies. They have to have a "job" to realize their potential, but that's never hard to do. | |

| Favorite Dog Breed? Posted: 10/29/2006 3:55:45 PM | Shiba-Inu, I fell in love with them. I just had to put mine to sleep in August They're such awesome dogs, so loving & caring. I still have two min-pin's, they're such a nightmare, LoL but I love them. I had a chow-chow for 14 years, she was nothing like the horror stories you use to hear about chows, she went everywhere with me and was always on her best behavior.

| Favorite Dog Breed? Posted: 11/21/2006 5:36:11 AM | | I'm partial to the large breeds. I used to have a pit/German Shorthair mix so I really like both those breeds. But I generally steer away from purebred dogs. Too many physical and psychological issues from generations of inbreeding. | |

| Favorite Dog Breed? Posted: 11/21/2006 8:51:04 AM | | I have had Rotts that were incredible dogs but one got very sick and had hip problems and other one started getting so protective at age four no one could get near me or he would just about eat them up...so both had to be put down and never again will I have one of those. I currently have a huge German Shepard that is the best dog ever. He is so loyal, well behaved and very protective of my young son. I also have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi that has a crazy adorable personality and was a bit to train but she is precious...everyone wants her. She thinks she is a BIG dog and loves to fight with my Shepard...she is the alpha dog and had to be trained to NOT try to herd me around by biting my ankles...argh....but she is a great dog. | |

| Favorite Dog Breed? Posted: 11/21/2006 12:20:20 PM | Right now I have to say Border Collie. Mine is loving, sweet,so good natured and a hell of a lot smarter than I am! She is my constant companion and so well behaved. Very energetic but as she gets a bit older it's a little more controlled and boy does she shed.
Every dog I've had over the years have each been my favorite at the time. Bassett Hounds are the greatest dogs ever. Always keep you smiling and you know you have a best friend. Keeshound's are incredible for families with kids growing up. She raised my 3 boys and put up with ever bit of 'boy stuff' from them. 14 years before we lost her. The majority have been mutts and I miss every one of them desperately. | |

| Favorite Dog Breed? Posted: 11/21/2006 12:23:27 PM | Are you stating that you want a man that's a bit of a dog? Panting at the frount door just waiting for your return. Territorial, protective and faithful. All this ,only if you properly feed, bath ,and scratch their bellies. Hmmmmmmmmmm. favorite dog breed- English Bulldog | |
|
| Favorite Dog Breed? Posted: 11/21/2006 7:47:26 PM | My favorite is a golden retriever:no breed is as playful, family friendly and loyal...but they are not obedient and dumb as a door knob. BTW...I'm somewhat trainable, loyal,I like catching a ball and having my belly scratched. | |
