The Islanders sure are a great team and have the advantage over the Leafs in a lot of areas but If Raycroft plays a great game better than Dube or however you spell his name for the Islanders then that that will be great news for the Leafs!
I agree Sundin has to step it up hes tried though but nothing has gone in for him yet so I hope he gets a goal or two tonight as that will certainly help.
A Leafs loss and Habs win tonight and thats it for the Leafs and will certainly makes Saturdays game meaningless.
So both the Leafs and Islanders will be hoping for the Rangers to win as it will help them both lol
I really hope thats the case to make the final game of the regular season even more meaningful!
Leafs gotta play better than the other night even though they beat Philly or else it will be a long nite for them!

Isles didnt even have Ricky D betweeen the pipes!

Well to bad i cant say that about the HABS as they lost lastnight and will be facing Toronto on Saturday and with Toronto fighting to stay alive it should be very interesting to say the least. The SENS may have lost lastnight but once we get the loosing outta the way we will win. I know we wont win the Cup not this year anyway. Asleast we made the playoffs to say the least unlike hmmm we will see on Saturday wether its the Leafs or The Habs. | |

Koivu will be knocked senseless, Huet will start and let in 4 goals by the end of the first period.
Sundin will get cut, Tucker will score at least once and Hal Gill will be first star..

Posted: 4/7/2007 10:17:44 AM | Hey guys! Wow thanks for your posts here and I sure hope that after tonights game against the Habs and when the Islanders finish their games that the Leafs will have clinched a playoff spot!
The Leafs have done better than I expected this season as I am surprised that we are fighting for a playoff spot! With all the changes new coach, goalie, etc I thought they wouldnt have what it takes to make it. So I give them credit for doing this well.
They may be out of gas but the Habs certainly arent doing much better either to get their playoff spot. We will see tonight who really wants to make the playoffs! We have played better at home lately so hopefully the home fans will give them a boost :)
What a way to finish the season though against rival Habs too bad they wont be meeting in the Stanley Cup finals anymore.
Still gotta worry about the Islanders as they could get that final playoff spot. New Jersey may sit back knowing they are in the playoffs already but Philly may play the Islanders hard and try to finish off the season on a good note.
Hopefully we are talking playoffs hockey with the Leafs after this weekend! If not thanks everyone for joining me this season and for your great posts!

Posted: 4/7/2007 1:51:49 PM | What a shame that tonights game means anything ,because lets face it folks Toronto ,Montreal Or theIslanders will get in the playoffs and Colorado who has more points then all of them will be out or maybe even Calgary .Colorado 93 points with two games remaining ,that is more than any of the 3 loser teams can get ,it should be the top 16 teams in the NHL that make the playoffs ,the teams with the most points ,what a joke that any of these teams have a chance and Colorado or Calgary could be out yet have more points ,shame shame shame on the NHL .
