the leaves are starting to turn color up in the Haliburton area about 20% right now according to ctv lol but its looking like fall up there very nice scenery! Hopefully the "leafs" wont be turning colors this season and staying healthy lmao
Looks like we have a little bit of an aregument going on already..nice lmao! As long as the mods dont mind it i say go for it lol ! By my count though the leaf supporters are outnumbering the non leaf fans :)
tnsf: I know you are another big leafs fan and I hope the groundhog will have the TV ready for us when we are down there! lol

to everyone else thanks again for your imput on the leafs so far and I'd like this to continue throughout the season.
we are just over 5 hours away until the puck drops as the leafs open the preseason against the Sabres!
I will be back around 7 pm to give you the score update and any other interesting things that happen tonight lol!

They seem to be skating really slow and no real plays yet. Hope it picks up or I will be sleeping by the second intermission.. Oh I forgot one Sabres player is hurt from his own team... that's about as excitiing as it's got..

But we are Leafs fans and will stick by them if they win or lose. I just really hope this year they all pull together and win the Cup.

Sabres seem to be the favorite to win it this year from what ive heard!

Posted: 9/18/2006 7:03:11 PM | well the leafs preseason has got off to a bad start with a 4-0 loss to the Sabres :( the good news though is Raycroft had a decent game despite 4 discs gettin by him.
Maurice has to have a good look at the specialty teams as this was the leafs problem last season more specifically the penalty kill.
the defense needs to be sharper too or Raycroft will be a busy goalie this season.
this is just the first preseason game but still it sucks that the leafs couldnt get anything going tonight!
I am happy Jody Vance is on leafs tv tho she is hot and bet she gives awesome hooter shooters!  mmm
next up is the mighty Sens on Wednesday in Ottawa!
