| If you could interview God what would you ask him? Posted: 11/2/2006 11:55:03 PM | I would ask why did you create such a beautiful thing as a reasoning mind, and then create followers who, in vanity and foolishness decide to spurn it because they prefer the security of monotany and repeated memes to the majesty of the Great and Vast Unknowable Unmanifest... | |

Two that have always bugged me, though, and might be appropriate to ask: 1) Is the Universe an open or a closed system? 2) Why did You keep messing with Erdös?

| If you could interview God what would you ask him? Posted: 1/8/2007 12:11:59 PM | I think I would just have one question:
"God, you just created an entire universe in seven days, one of which was just for rest! What do you plan to do now?"
I also think I could guess His answer, since it's His sense of humor that makes it all happen...

I bet it was that rest day... they popped up while he was napping, and unfortunately he chose the last day of his allotted week to do so! ;-P

Mostly I'd ask us why we give credence to these fairytales.

| If you could interview God what would you ask him? Posted: 1/13/2007 4:20:23 AM | | How come you let people who hate life live and people who love life take it away from them. How come when harm is done to children you don't work your miracles, for example a women putting her baby in a oven, or a man killing innocent little kids. | |

| If you could interview God what would you ask him? Posted: 1/15/2007 10:49:30 AM | Assuming the God many believe in exists...
The hard questions:
1. Who are you? 2. What, if any, is your favorite religion? 3. Do you have any regrets? 4. What crossed your mind when you first discovered Satan's minions had relations with the daughters of men?
(I know, I know...he's supposedly omniscient. It would still be fun to ask.)

| If you could interview God what would you ask him? Posted: 1/15/2007 9:32:53 PM | 2 Questions:
1. Well, I'm sure when a lot of people pray, they probably don't bother thinking or asking how god is doing. I'd have to ask, "So, how's it going?"
2. I have refused to fully subscribe to any specific religion because I don't think that the religious belief systems that I have aleady taken a surface look at are verifiably true. I believe what I see and experience instead of what has been passed down from man to man, which is and has been subject to manipulation as circumstances and people in control of the flow of religious teaching deemed appropriate.
So, the question I would have is one of whether we are really being measured by a system of what is right and wrong as many would have you believe. I have to ask because God has not personally delivered to me anything citing exactly what is right and what is wrong to follow as a guideline, so am I truly being evaluated on law that has not been unequivocally determined to be delivered by god? All I see here is a dog eat dog world where only the strong and fortunate survive. Did I "get it"? What's the answer to the mystery of life? I never wanted to have to ask for the answer to that question because I always thought it was our responsibility to look for it and find it.
That certainly was a thought provoking question... ^.-

This thread reminds me of a funny saying I'm familiar with. Something like, "When people claim to talk with God, they are called devout, however if they claim that God talks back, they are called crazy."

| If you could interview God what would you ask him? Posted: 1/21/2007 6:42:03 AM | Why did God let my mother die a horrible gruesome death of lung and throat cancer?
Speclally when she absolutely dedicated her life to God and was one of the Earths few true Angels to walk it. I do not say that lightly.
There will be some serious heavenly whipp ass going on when I go.

| If you could interview God what would you ask him? Posted: 1/21/2007 8:40:59 PM | If you created the world and human kind then why create other religions but claim christianity as the one true religion... and if you do not claim that then why allow others to claim such a thing?
Why do you allow such hatred, genocide, and evil exsist in this world?

If you could interview God what would you ask him?
Well I would start the way a proper interview should, by asking him his name. I would then like to know a little bit about his training and previous experianxe before moving on to his ambitions and hobies. Then I would ask him why he wanted thew job and where he saw himself 20 years from now.
