What's with the lousy sense of timing?
You only show up when somebody dies?
Can't manage to make yourself known before that?
You think that's funny?
How's that working out for you, you schmuck?

OP -

I would ask

1. There are tons of theories as to why you let the things that happen, happen. But...why REALLY do you let these things happen? (then I expect an honest answer, cause like..its God)
2. Is the bible completely a*** backwards? Because, it sure seems like it some days. What are the exeptions to the rules, if there are any...?

Things like that...cause i'm cynical

If I could interview God?!! The questions would be so numerous! I just want to see Him!

1. What surprises me most about mankind is there is actually alot of good things going on out in the world and in people that we sometimes take for granted or never even see.

2. As a parent of mankind I want my children to learn as many of life’s lessons as possible, preferably quicker and better than I have.

First I'd ask him what the answer was to Life, The Universe, and Everything.

Depending on his response I'd then either ask him if he wants to go out for drinks, or why he isn't better read.

But seriously, I'd ask him why give he puts up with the hypocrisy of those that use his name to propragate suffering of the lesser fortunate, and profit for themselves. When a simple day of mass lighting bolt attacks would solve that issue.

Then I'd ask if he want's to take a day off, and offer to watch the shop for him.

I would ask him if there is anything I can do for him or anyone else.
Then I would thank him for everything he has done.

This is due to God giving man free will.

I think even God has a risk/reward element to His nature. Without the possibility of people not following His grace, our only growth is terran.

By yes, I agree. Benny Hinn is a nut-job. I'm sad to say that he has Canadian roots. I went to an event of his about a decade ago, in Detroit. The only thing I learned that day was what not to follow.

i used to do security in nashville and had the misfortune of being backstage for one of his events. these people had to pay $500 to go onstage with him. before they did, they had to go into a room to learn the proper way to flop (yes, i saw it). when he arrived, everyone had to be out of his site. i am not a religious guy, but when god appeared, didn't everyone have to be out of his site too? i was reading a history book and had one of his staffers tell me history was the work of the devil! the devil!! huh? finally, a group of people met to try to work on his staff. to do so, you were not paid, had to pay your own travel expenses, and at the minimum join his group which was, i think $35.

Two questions
1. why does the price of gas go up every long weekend when the oil companies bought thursdays gas the same time they bought fridays (up to 2 years earlier)?

2. Why do I have to pay the bank money, to withdrawl my own money, when they have already made money on my money by leanding it to other people?

I'm not religious AT ALL! But this is a great thread!

Q: Why is religion against homosexuality?
God created man (supposedly, though I'm sure we're one big chemical reaction), therefore...he should respect what man chooses to be.. right?

I would ask why He did not wait to send His Son until there was a worldwide media infrastructure to record the event firsthand.

And if he said he never sent a 'son' in the first place?

You'd have just wasted a perfectly good question to find out something most people already know.

The Pope would have to work for a living.

Hardly fair to the Pope. I think he'd still have a job, people... qualify that... a lot of so-called 'Christians' would simply have to rethink their approach to a relatively minor point of dogma.

If finding out that Jesus wasn't 'THE SON' of God would unhinge the Roman Catholic Church then I have to express the opinion that there isn't much holding it together to begin with, and personally, that's not my opinion.

It wasn't that I didn't think your question had merit, I just think you phrased it in such a way as to give God an easy out.

Perhaps asking why Jesus didn't bother to have anyone around that could write anything down about his ministry (even though he had twelve apostles, a half dozen women, and supposedly hundreds of followers... none of whom wrote down anything); or if Peter or Paul told the truth when Mark and Luke wrote down their oral traditions. I would consider these much more meaningful questions.

Personally, I've always wondered why (according to the scriptures) Jesus swore his apostles to never tell anyone that he was the Christ... and that seems to have been the first thing Peter did once he was dead. Just goes to show, some people can't follow instructions no mater how authoritative the source.

It has disturbed me why Jesus did not have his followers record his ministry.

I can only guess, since Jesus is not granting media interviews, that His intent was to reveal His divine nature once He rose from the dead.

Of course, one must wonder why He did not go to the authorities to have Himself declared to be alive. After all, presumably His death was recorded by the authorities after His crucifixion.

because he'd probably die of old age waiting in the queue to be seen at the authorities offices!

I need more scenario.

A. Is God applying for a Job? What is the Position?

B. Am I a journalist, researcher? will I have to publish the findings?

C. OR, what would it be like to be interviewed BY God?

D. All of the above would be a fun bit of fiction.

omg

I think I wouldn't ASK, I'd DEMAND, like in the movie Bladerunner.
When the Terminal Replicant Roy meets his Creator, he demands,
"I want more LIFE, *%$#er!!"

Um...I'd pick up on the last question God was supposedly asked:

What is truth?

It's been 2000 years, maybe's God has had time to come up with an answer we can understand.

He did--it's called- " I am the way, the TRUTH and the life." What is so difficult to understand?

Well Gus, the difficulty is the word TRUTH. Once that is known "the way" is a piece of cake.
