i have recently lost two stone and a male friend told me to change it to a few extra pounds.
it amazes me how many guys love bigger women...its kinda took me by surprise, to be honest.
always thinking no man would look at me becuase they see me as fat.
Im happy in my body, i love my curves. ijust need to find a permenant partner now who loves them as much as i do! | |

I would be just toooooo gorgeous if I had a perfect... what ever that is body... infact I already do have that for me.
The thing is to be confident in your own skin. If you don't like it then change it... but don't beat yourself up about it and never bother what others think of how you look. Personality and difference is what makes you unique! | |

Do I have a preference? yes, i'll always prefere a larger man who is bigger built but that wouldn't stop me dating someone slim.

I am defo a BBW, although i rarely call myself it. I never call myself things (names) that i would want others to call me. I have always been big. Both tall and overweight. I have found the dating world both reality and cyber to be a difficult one. You are never truely sure how a person of the opposite sex is going to react.
I have had guys message me only to ridicule me later on. I have some men be totally devoted in a fetish kind of way. It is hard and difficult. I do not expect to be attractive to everyone, i just want to be treated with some respect. If you do not like a bigger person then you do not have to interact with them.
I have my preferences, i think everyone does. However i dont think it should stop you from approaching someone if you are attracted to them. If you get a "sorry...not my type" reply you have lost nothing from asking. You have to believe yourself to be the most attractive person you can be.
I have to admit i do get put off people profiles by the guys who plug the fact they go gym 3+ times a week. But i guess is shows they care about there looks and it is them conforming to the societies "healthy look". I am healthy, sure i am not marathon runner. But i can debate politics as well as anyone else, i can keep a good home and i can have an equally fulfilling relationship.

Mainly as some men have a fetish in that area and it encourages the wrong type.
I have plenty of confidence and i get chatted up and meet as many men as my size 10 friends. It comes down to your view of yourself.
I am losing weight now and i am doing it for me. If you are happy with yourself
then go for it! I would not be drawing attention to myself if i were a size 10 either tho.
I think society puts too much stock on body image when there are plenty more things about a possible date to regard other than that. I have been out with very toned men who have been arrogant and that is very unattractive and i am sure men here have had similar experiance with woman. As long as the connection is there and both people are happy, that is all that should matter. Although that maybe is a bit idealist in the type of world we live in today
