Posted: 4/20/2006 10:37:15 AM | When I was younger thinking I knew it all I would have laughed at anyone thinking it would. I would have said the ones saying that were only trying to fool themselves or maintain their youth.
Well, now I can say that I was definantly WRONG. Not only have I learnt many things about my ownself but also understand that things that I do to my partner in turn will turn me on 1000 fold.
When younger I think I was sexual for a different reason. Now I know all things that I thought I knew then.
I can honestly say that if I have any say so about it I will be "active" as long as possible.

I think we become more sensitive to touch sensations and the comfort of physical closeness. My body tingles many times... before, during and after sex.
Don't know if it's going to keep being like this, though. When I see people my age or older than can't function sexually... well, there we go.
I think how long we can go depends on how we treat our bodies. I've taken reasonably good care of mine, so it's still responding very well. Smoking, drinking and drugs are said to be major causes of sexual impotence with men AND women. The nerves in the body are said to get burned out by them faster than without.
I quit smoking and weed at thirty. I think that has alot to do with it. | |

I guess it is partially because i have become a distance runner rather than a sprinter...it is not about getting to the end of the race that is important now....it is staying in the race for as long as we want now.
I think now we are all comfortable with our own bodies, we know what we want and do not want and we are confident enough to say so..... As I have gotten older my sexual horizons have expanded greatly....and some times I could kick myself for missing out on some of this when i was younger. | |

There comes a point in your life when QUALITY over QUANTITY becomes the best part of sex and making love. Having the experience and knowledge to make it flow better and letting your guard down to allow all the inner side of your sexuality out is what age can do for you....... 
The end result is better sex.......and more empowerment for each enjoying it and the other.....
