| Daddy Long Legs Posted: 9/21/2006 9:12:19 AM | apparantly the weather this year will give us an epidemic. creepy crawlies don't tend to bother me (exept bar flies) lol | |
|
| Daddy Long Legs Posted: 9/21/2006 9:22:46 AM | I had three of them in my livingroom the other night but i dont kill them either, i got my son to catch them and put them outside, i also put spiders or any kind of bugs outside. I couldnt kill something just because it happened to get inside my house lol. They dont bite or sting you so essentially they are harmless. | |

| Daddy Long Legs Posted: 9/21/2006 12:13:01 PM | It would appear they have all but gone now, thank god.
I don't think my nerves could have taken much more. One was in the bedroom last night and I had no way of catching it so I had to just let it fly about. Took me ages to get to sleep, couldn't stop thinking about it.

| Daddy Long Legs Posted: 9/21/2006 12:49:28 PM | Where I live they are part and parcel of country side living. I usually catch them in my hands and shoo them out the door because they have a tendency to get caught in my hair!!!!!
As to spiders they are like horses here galloping across the floor - tend to leave them alone they arent doing me any harm.

| Daddy Long Legs Posted: 1/18/2009 12:18:02 PM | when i was in the infants school, there was a wall in the playground, and there was loads of them just crawling around, so we used to pull there legs off and watch the leg twitch, and i still remeber the teacher saying, how would you like it if someone pulled your legs off? my reply once was, but it's still got 5 left miss | |

| Daddy Long Legs Posted: 1/18/2009 12:50:57 PM | I had one in my house the other night, I ended up peeping through a crack in the door while my daughter caught it and chucked it out the window.
I don't like the way they flutter about
