I would like to hear some input. Id love to show my cleavage on my site, but I am a 36 B, I wish I had large breasts sometimes. They seem to get more favourites.
Showing more cleavage is bad advertising.
Having large breasts is not what all men are looking for.
Not a good reason to be on someones favorite list.
All this is just my opinion though.

| Breast Augmentation over 45 Posted: 7/30/2009 11:07:42 PM | Maybe it is the men I have dated, but it seems like they were more interested in a healthy body then just boobs. You can have small boobs and be in fabulous shape and the heads will turn. You can have huge boobs and be gasping for air just walking because you are out of shape, if you don't have the figure, no one will look...at least in a positive way. I would go for the fabulous shape any day. I think exercising always makes you feel better about your body. Just because a man put a large breasted woman on his favorites, doesn't mean he contacted her or will. He might just like to look. But that same man might take a look at you and click to email you right away because you look great. Being more than just boobs is a good thing.
Honestly have never known any woman that had them done that was happy. I have known those who have had reductions and are happier though.

| Breast Augmentation over 45 Posted: 7/31/2009 8:20:08 PM | get the breast if it going to make you happy, but not for anyone else. Also remember, you'll have perky breast on a quickly dilapidated body, so think about it. it will be kind of out of proportion. something like women with a great face due to surgery and wrinkled hands or knees. | |

| Breast Augmentation over 45 Posted: 10/11/2009 12:14:59 AM | but be nice to have some big ones. From what I've heard from men and from what I've read on these forums, an awful lot of men don' t like the feel of artificial breasts. A 36B is fine. It's really about your personal self image. If you are fit and healthy, that should be enough. You are pretty and have a nice figure. A 36B is nothing to be worried about, imo. Large breasts sag more as you age, even artificial ones, I'd imagine. I'd say it isn't right or wrong, it's only what you want. But weigh all the pros and cons and decide what will make you most happy. Having more favorites on POF should not be a consideration! Are you really interested in attracting men who are only attracted to your breasts?

| Breast Augmentation over 45 Posted: 10/11/2009 12:45:26 AM | this is too funny! well, at any rate, 36B is working for me. no sagging here and i still attract the leg and butt men! plus there are other aspects of the upper half that also vary by person. for a while there, when i gained weight, got up a size, but the rest of what got larger along with it, just wasn't worth it. | |

| Breast Augmentation over 45 Posted: 10/11/2009 5:30:37 AM | Wife, looking in the mirror: Gee, I wish I had larger breasts.... Husband: Well, just take a piece of toilet paper and rub them a couple of times a day. Wife: What makes you think that will help? Husband: Well, just look what its done for you butt over the years..... | |

Ladies and Gentelmen,
Do you think it is acceptable for a woman to have a breast augmentation over 45.
If I could afford it and it was healthy I would.
I would like to hear some input. Id love to show my cleavage on my site, but I am a 36 B, I wish I had large breasts sometimes. They seem to get more favourites. Oh, hon, I paid $15,000. to get to my B's. I went the opposite direction and never looked back. I'm only sorry I waited as long as I did to reduce-sadly they seem to be coming back. I'm depressed to hear you "sometimes" want larger breasts to be on a favorites list on a dumba*s website. Anyway it's all about pushup bras and camera angles...

| Breast Augmentation over 45 Posted: 10/11/2009 8:28:18 AM | | Well, I have very large natural breasts and wish to goodness that I did not. I have gone for my consulatation for a reduction and hopefully, the insurance is going to kick in 50% for the surgery. I have to wear an underwire bra to support them, I have since I was about 12. Yes, some do like big ones, but fake ones are just that, fake. You ladies with smaller ones do not have to deal with back issues and the constant need to support to minimize the sagging that comes with such large ones. I sleep in a bra much of the time, a sports one to defy gravity. Good bras for the naturally endowed are not inexpensive, but is the price you pay not to have deep grooves in your shoulder area. | |
|
| Breast Augmentation over 45 Posted: 10/11/2009 12:52:01 PM | I'm a size D and wear a sport bra to control the "girls" while doing my job. Nothing like excess jiggling to become a distraction and/or free show. The horses could care less while getting their pedicures.
My contribution to this conversation is this, if you do get fake ones, don't become an anorexic! I happened across a morning talk TV show dealing with an anorexic woman that had fake breasts. While she weighed less than 80#'s, her 'breasts' were still full figured...very freaky looking....boobs on a skeleton!

| Breast Augmentation over 45 Posted: 10/11/2009 12:59:34 PM | Nothing wrong with what you have. Don't be like so many on here in their profiles, shove their breasts out there and when you read the rest of the profile you can see right away by the spelling and everything else that they have no brains at all. Give me someone with some smarts. Don't dwell so much on the breasts, like most they will go south over the years anyway, and you will wonder why all of a sudden your dude is late getting home, stays late at the office, etc....hahaha...yea!!!!! Have something that will keep the relationship together other than that. Just my two cents, and those that don't like it, give me a penny back. | |

| Breast Augmentation over 45 Posted: 10/11/2009 1:55:15 PM | | Those women who shove their breasts out for the world to see make me think they do not value themselves as a whole much. Men do like a beautiful woman, but it is a shame that they reduce themselves down to much less by doing so. You can tell by a few that participate in the forums that they are wonderful women and have a lot going on for themselves. | |

You are correct, the boobs get more favorites...not the person but their boobs...so does being an object interest you?...want men to never look you in the eyes? Last guy I was with wasnt a *boobman and he would laugh when we went out about how stupid some men act over a pair of fatty tissue. Enjoy who you are.

| Breast Augmentation over 45 Posted: 10/11/2009 2:40:44 PM | I've never gone out with a "boob man". All the guys I know are into bottoms. Great - you know how much work there is to keep your bum not looking like a pancake? My daughter says she's going to save up for implants for me.. Why can't guys be into earlobes or something? | |

| Breast Augmentation over 45 Posted: 10/11/2009 3:17:20 PM | | LOL! well..I had big boobs a couple times (while pregnant) and I thought they really got in the way...especially when I already had to turn sideways to get close enough to the sink to wash dishes! I can't imagine why a woman would want them! LOL! | |

LMAO I wasnt knocking them, I have grown quite attached to mine!
Just dont think some women understand that there is more to having a body part that some men act like fools over. For some there is alot of power in it.

| Breast Augmentation over 45 Posted: 10/11/2009 4:13:40 PM | | There isn't any reason for putting women down for having them or not having them, it is just body type. No different than being tall or short, having blue or brown eyes. Nothing one can do about it, unless you have surgery to alter your body. It suggests to me, if someone feels the need to do that, she is influenced by society and has a low self image. I can see breast reduction if there is pain suffered from stress on the back. But, at the same time, if you are that big, generally it is due to being over weight and this problem can be solved by losing weight and exercise---not always, but I think probably generally. I am not a fan of any kind of elective surgery for cosmetic purposes only, but, of course, it is up to the individual. | |

| Breast Augmentation over 45 Posted: 10/11/2009 4:54:59 PM | | Ismene, I have lost 25 pounds and I am not overweight anymore. I still have huge breasts, a DDD cup, and it is not fun to carry around. I am only 5'4 and big breasts are not proportional to my frame. Insurance will not pay for cosmetic reductions, it has to be because it is detrimental to your long-term well-being. My doctors says that I will qualify. I hope so! | |
|
| Breast Augmentation over 45 Posted: 10/11/2009 5:02:22 PM | ^^^As I said, not always due to weight issues.
msg 248: you will probably be happier when you are more comfortable
|
| Breast Augmentation over 45 Posted: 10/11/2009 5:06:58 PM | I know you said that, Ismene. You are always a classy lady in your responses. I was just clarifying and you know what, it is often due to being overweight. In fact, before I went for my consultation, I did lose the weight so that he could see that it was not a weight issue.
The grass is always greener, isn't it for some. We want what we don't have. Some gals think that big breasts will make them sexier and I think I will be happeir with smaller ones.

| Breast Augmentation over 45 Posted: 10/11/2009 5:23:42 PM | | No man has any right to criticize a woman for getting bolt-ons. Face it guys, if we could get our one-eyed best friend extended to a fully functional 9 3/4" Ron Jeremy replica we would all be in line for the surgery, and I would be right there. But for now the purple-headed yogurt slinger will have to settle for Viagra to make up for the lack of available cosmetic surgery. | |

I have lost 25 pounds and I am not overweight anymore. I still have huge breasts, a DDD cup, and it is not fun to carry around Breasts are made of some fat and some breast tissue. Dieting does nothing to rid one of breast tissue. I weighed 119lbs. and had a DDD. They grew over the years to about a G/H and I was not overweight (about 20lbs.) I am not overweight now and have had a reduction and they are growing again. If breasts were made up entirely of fat, only overweight women would have large breasts. My best friend's daughter is a model and actress. She is 5'8" and weighs 107lbs. She wears a DD bra-all hers poor thing because they aren't nice and round like implants. I've known her since she was a little girl and she was always thin and like me developed early and fully.
