I happen to think that any type of cosmetic surgery is a very personal choice. I also believe that before getting ones heart set on a specific procedure.. one should investigate that procedure.. the doctors/nursing staff.. and the place where it's to take place.. the "full" cost of the surgery with all the follow ups.. thoroughly.. before getting too excited. This also means taking into account.. all and any current health issues that you may have.. and any adverse effects that the surgery may have on those pre-existing conditions.. as well as any that may be caused by a specific type of surgery.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
With that said.. having larger boobs than a 36B is not an automatic cure all.. or a garden of eden. It's not going to improve who you are underneath.. if all you're looking for is an enticement for men. Maybe.. going through some self-help classes and improving your personality will boost your low-self-esteem. It can also be a better pain/risk-free (non-deadly) option for the OP.
Age definitely takes a larger toll on those with larger breasts. Gravity is not kind to anyone eventually.. and those with the heavier larger boobs can probably attest to the fact that there huge ones sag the worst.. and first. Skin loses it's elasticity after a certain age.. and it just keeps going and going and going. Having big boobs means.. wearing a bra more often than not.. then.. it isn't even just a matter of them sagging but.. too large of boobs can also rip the skin causing bleeding and pain. OUCH!That isn't even touching on the back problems that occur with those large boobs either though.
I see this as.. the grass is always greener on the other side.
A lot of times.. I wish my boobs were smaller.. as they get in the way with everybody that accidently bumps.. hits.. and pushes them around. OUCH! My arm movements are so limited it's unreal. I have never known big breasted women (myself included) to attract men of a better calibur.. just men that leer at their big ole boobies. These are usually the same men that never talk to your face but.. just to those boobs. Sometimes.. I even wear a pin if I want to wear something stylish that leaves the least bit of cleavage showing.. "So.. what color are my eyes again?" Anything that's low-cut.. looks like I'm just hanging out all over the place. I always say.. I'm the only one I know that has cleavage in a turtleneck!
So.. for me.. I'm going out the same way I came in.. natural!
I'll be 50 before I know it.. and I lived this long with what I've got.. and if the men do/don't like it.. too dang bad for them. They shoulda looked at/into my eyes instead! JMO
I did a search on this thread and noticed no one has referred to Photoshop. Photoshop is a computer program that can enhance and alter photographs.
Why not just enhance your photograph and see of the number of favorites and email increase proportionally. The photograph(s) could be altered in stages between perky and hooters to determine if a specific size get the desired attention. If you wanted you might be able to enhance them all that way up to jugs. (I hope I have my sizes in the proper order). Why have surgery when simple photo editing will do?
On a serious note, I don’t think this type of cosmetic surgery should every be considered to attract a dating companion. A relationship that starts based on breast size is probably wonky at best.
I know the OP was 2 years ago but if someone wants to conduct the experiment, I’ll Photoshop a photograph for you.
OP...with all due respect, you need to have your thinking augmented, not your breasts. If you think bigger breasts are going to get you a "better man" you should take a second to really consider whether you would want a man who couldn't accept you as you are but WOULD if only your boobs were bigger. Why would you want to be with someone who is so superficial?
Although it's a matter of taste (no pun intended ;o), but many of my male friends, plus several on this thread have stated they prefer smaller natural to fake. When Mr. Right comes along, he'll love you just as you are.
As a naturally large breasted woman, believe me when I say there is a "down" side (and I mean that literally) to big boobs. I have often wished for smaller so they would stay perkier instead of heading south. My daughter actually had breast reduction because of negatives of large breasts.
You're a beautiful woman just as you are....just be patient. A man will come along who will recognize that in you.
Careful what you wish for OP - do you really want to attract guys who are more interested in the size of your bra cup?
Being larger has its drawbacks. As time goes on gravity has its way with the world of biology.
Course, with silicone parts, you may not have as much of an issue with that - never thought about how the aging of the natural portion might be fighting gravity while the silicone just adds the extra weight. Hmmmmm....
LOL...Niki^^^^ You made me think of a cartoon I saw about aging women with breast implants. This old gal had everything wrinkling and sagging but had these gorgeous perky boobs! Too funny. If the rest of the body is going south, the boobs should go along for the ride I'm guessin' .
I think that you should do whatever you feel comfortable doing......But, if you are thinking of augmenting you boobs just to get a good man....that is not a good reason.....You really need to explore all the positive things about yourself, and explore all the long term effects you may experience if you do go along with the surgery.....wouldn't you want a man to love you for who you are without the extra bags? What if one had breast cancer and had to have those saline/silicone bags removed along with the breasts would that person still be happy with themselves...these are just some food for thought....good luck with whatever decision you make on this........
I would much rather be with a woman who has NOT had a breast job just to make them "bigger" or have more cleavage.....I have never been a "big" breast man myself, but all men are different........36B would be more then fine with me
Why does it matter how many favorites someone has?.....This is not a popularity contest (or is it?).......In fact, if someone adds themselves to my favorites, and doesn't contact me in a week or so, I will usually delete them......I would much rather be one woman's favorite, and get off POF for good, then have 100 women add me as a favorite and never even know them.
Lets see this thread was started 9/20/2006 Another case of resurrecting the dead on POF.
Now she either got the boob job or more likely the attention that she really wanted. I'm sure that when she was younger she had perfec breast and she was so proud of the girls. As she aged se noticed they were not the lovlys that they once were. So in order to fel better about herself she sought attention by asking her question.
I wonder how many guys e mailed her asking for topless photos so that they could give her their expert opinion?
I don't feel it is for me but I have no objection to it in general.
I have a friend who has had seeral serious health issues over the years. She was well endowed to begin with but removal of fiberous tumors left her breasts misshapen so she got implants... and went larger. In an accident a shard of glass barely missed an implant and puncturing her lung. She had them removed. She wasn't happy with the appearance after that. Understandable. So she got implants again. Then she gained a considerable amount of weight. A few years back one leaked and she became seriously ill. The implants were removed and that illness, followed by a subsequent one, resulted in tremendous weight loss. She got more implants (saline this time) and had excess skin removed, set up infection, had some skin die...
She is 48, and clothed she looks like a million bucks. She may be going thru a second adolesence and thinks she is some kind of biker chick. Wears alotta leather (even in summer which she can do cuz one of her medical conditions makes her feel cold all the time) and it keeps everything (like her a**) where it belongs. In the nude, she looks like her plastic surgeon's name is Frankenstein.
just my two cents but for most part do not find augmented ladies particularly appealling, love natural look which is a rarity these days (specially in california), one more gripe n that's it--ladies with muscular\manly arms a real turnoff! hey its my two cents ok!
EGADS !!! a man who is attracted to you only because of or primarily because of large breasts ... is a "better" man?!?! since when? that is a shallow, manipulative, impaired man!
there are plenty of men out there that appreciate a 36B or whatever - who find "more than a handful" or "more than a mouthful" just right - ! I am not well endowed, but I have great breasts! they're pretty and firm and I've never worn a bra. and, I wouldn't even consider surgical augmentation, especially to "get" or "keep" a man!
I'm not into breast augmentation. But if she wants to..... Honestly, I would never ask my woman to do something like that. God made her the way she is, and some things can't be controlled. Fitness, weight, and health can, but not genetics.
The best augmentation procedure on breasts, at any age, is to have your boyfriend of hubby to bite off the unsightly mouthfuls that you want to get rid of.
If you want it, I suppose it's okay.
Personally, I'd rather have my retirement fund augmented.
Wow, another 3 year old thread but I see that the OP is still around so your situation may be building up to a mounting problem, even though from looking at your titillating pictures it does not appear to be something needed. However, if you'd like to get a second opinion I will pull out my map and see if Flamborough Ontario can be stitched into my house call route so that I can give you a private examination. Please keep me abreast of your situation in the mean time.
^^^^^ LOL and yeah, find it odd sometimes reading a thread started 2 or 3 years ago. Saying that, its certainly an interesting topic. I'll change the direction a bit and ask a couple of questions of both men and women. 1) Guys: If the lady had a breast agumentation, would you want to KNOW about it? If she doesn't tell you, is she being less than honest Ladies: If the guy had a hair transplant would YOU like to know about it? If he never ever told you would you feel "cheated" 2) If finding out that either of the above were true, would it be a real detraction or even a deal-breaker for you?
My own thoughts..... I think if a lady would feel more self-confident and just feel better about herself, then why not? That goes with most cosmetic surgery, I think. If a man requested/demanded that of you, then I think you chatting with a pretty superficial guy. Bottom line, we all do things that are to some degree "superficial". I mean maybe a ladies' perfume or a guy's cologne makes them feel more attractive, whats the harm? Do we go to the barber/hair stylist and say "aw, who cares, just wack off a few inches"?? Of course not. We want the cut that makes us look our best. We want to appear/smell/feel as attractive as possible and I see nothing wrong with that. If it becomes an OBSESSION and you are undergoing 6 comestic surgeries to try and please someone else (or even yourself), then I don't think you'll ever be happy. *steps down from soap box and kicks dirt on 3 year old thread*
I dated women with breast augmentation. Their breasts became rock hard. You could hammer a nail into a cement wall with them. It did not bother me. At that time in my life, nothing bothered me. I just basically went for anything that moved, until my friend Paul told me, Andrew, why limit yourself?
Ladies and Gentelmen,
Do you think it is acceptable for a woman to have a breast augmentation over 45.
If I could afford it and it was healthy I would.
I would like to hear some input.
Id love to show my cleavage on my site, but I am a 36 B, I wish I had large breasts sometimes. They seem to get more favourites.
You can do what you like (and can afford). It doesn't matter what people think.
Personally, I don't like plastic breasts. They feel plastic.
You might get more attention if your main profile picture was just you.
No would never have one.. I figure mine are a gift since gravity does not play much of a factor for me..
So if he is a chest man look elsewhere I have a pubescent body.. So chances are he would be focused elsewhere a like little tushes..
Hope op has made up her mind as it looks to be going on 3 years.
Big or Small Breast don't matter to me. But I suppose for the ladies that want to turn some heads and attract a special attention from the guys then I'd say Go for it.
I prefer All Natural body parts!!
What does your age have to do with it?
Do you think at 45 you're over the hill?
If you've had kids they're probably real droop and could use a boost. I've had a few friends who had 30 yrs old needed them lifted.
Age has nothing to do with it.
