Perfect. It's the same way my son's taekwondo instructor handles him. He didn't put his shoes in his cubby. He went looking for them after class was over, couldn't find them. he asked her the whereabouts of his shoes. She said drop and give me twenty push-ups and you can have them back.

Guess gotta treat the guys like this without nagging..

"Please don't leave your clothes/socks/underwear on the floor" x2

Why is the top of every night table, shelf or any other horizontal surface in sight packed with cosmetic related items in the bedroom and bathrooms?

"Please put toilet paper on the spinner" x2

Some people just have no desire to learn a new skill how to throw a roll of TP up into the air and artfully rip the required amount of paper off it. Sorry, but some of us eat lots of meat, and spinners break anywho. And no, we won't be nagged to install a new one, its NFL Season ...

Can't you be more punctual and get me some Brewskies during Intermissions, Field Goals, etc.?

"Please call me if you are going to be late." x2

If he ain't on Time, he'll obviously be late.
Doesn't require a call to have you figure that one out ... j/k

"Can't you do anything around the house?? I'm not your slave!!!"

Can't you cut the grass, prune the trees, build a new Fence, clean the gutters?

Clearly, you do not know when to say "NO".

yeah...no shit!!!....but i finally did. however this nagging thing has
been bugging me for a couple years and decided to bring it out in
the open and deal with it...on here. theres a helluva lot of wisdom
in these threads...and from all ages too. i dont think i could have gotten
all the various perspectives from any book written by a 'pro' like ive gotten
from real people on here....

if their not happy, they dont want you to be either..
if you dont nag them, they will nag you

hmm.. or maybe you just never keep your word/promises or are ever on time...

if they nag you about something that needs to be done, then tell them to do it
pfft..
Maybe if you sounded like you cared the first time around, you wouldnt have to hear it countless times again?

Guys can be pretty persistant when it comes to getting what they want in terms of nagging also.. just remember she probably learned from the best.

Some purposly trying to be annoying, or in desperate need of attension and help...?

PEOPLE nag because they recognize that you can be better than what you actually are. Either you accept other's faith in you or you reject it. One more question, slacker: Do you nag yourself?

Depends on what it is?

If your two hours late for a date?..........that is not nagging...

If you don't give her anything for her birthday but expect a gift from her? It's not nagging..

Nagging is...

IF you a few minutes late because you got stuck by a train...

You gave her a birthday present but that was not good enough...

I don't nag. I have no desire to be a mommy to my S.O. nor would I want to put myself in the position where he would view me as such.

I expect an equal partner in a relationship; nagging is counterproductive to that position not to mention incredibly demeaning to the other partner.

If they cannot be an equal partner then I would just walk away.

I always thought of nagging as ****ing about small stuff. If you forget a birthday you deserve to hear something about it. If you leave clothes around the house or make dinner a lil late because you work 2 jobs or the kids were acting up and you hear about it you have a nag. I got so sick of it I dreaded coming home and made any excuse to work late or just NOT be in her company. THAT was the begining of the end of my marriage. People who constantly nag are almost never happy and dislike seeing other people happy so they make them unhappy...misery loves company.

Nagging can be the end of a relationship. I do not believe in nagging. If you are with someone that does, make sure it is nagging and not that they want something from you and you are just not listening.
Nagging can be deadly to a relationship, if you are paying attention to your patner and you are giving it your all and you can truly say that you are, then maybe it is time to move on.

Maybe for the same reasons some men will nag the life out of you. In my case nagging, yelling and screaming are the quickest way for me not to hear you at all.

They forget or don't know it's destructive, or think what ever they nag about is a bigger issue.

Some nag because the man doesn't listen, or adhere. They want the man to do something, or not do something.

Some are just stupid. You had to of known this already.

I take it you've never met the guys I've known who blamed me for everything bad they ever did or ever happened to them.

If someone is nagging at you just tell them to shut up. Seriously.

Which makes me wonder: Why were you with those guys in the first place?

I wasn't. They were never boyfriends, just guys that I dated. Once I realized what overdramatic drama kings they were who couldn't take responsibility for their own lives I didn't let it get to the "boyfriend" stage.
