| Piercings....love'em or disgust you?
Posted: 3/20/2005 5:06:31 PM | For me, piercings are just like tattoos. They can look great, have meaning, accent features, and be all-around sexy... or they can look cheap, dirty, and disgusting. For both, subtlty is important. I guess my general likes and dislikes concerning them go something like this:
Good Piercings:
-small and shiny... complimenting, but not distracting
-belly buttons
-ear lobes
-nose(though not for everyone)
Bad Piercings:
-huge bulky, dangling things(distracts the eye)
-septum
-lip
-eyebrow
-clit
-nipples(some people love these, I hate them. sorry. is it just me, or can a pierced nipple NOT get THO?)
Good Tattoo:
-has meaning/isn't a skull with a dagger you got on a whim when you were drunk in vegas
-can be hidden, yet isn't in a place you wouldn't show to your grandparents
-brings back memories
-lower back(for girls)
-upper arm
-ankle
-chest(for guys)
-upper back/shoulders
Bad Tattoo:
-cannot be hidden
-isn't an expression of art or taste
-has no meaning
-will be regretted when you're 50
-is too big
-chest(for girls)
-face
-neck
-swimsuit area

Of course, I have to admit to knowing nothing about piercings. I don't even wear ear rings and most of my friends have no piercings whatsoever. So, it just seems really strange to me.
I guess ear rings are all I'd be comfortable with. | |

I think if you judge someone on tats or piercings, you are a insecure POS that needs to realize that things are different now. The world is changing, I hope for the better, but self expression is the only TRUE expression. | |

Ok ok... piercing at some places are ok... but not down there right at the tip of the d!ck! Yuk! Churns my stomach and its stinks! Yeah I have a hyper-sensitive nose and I also live in an eternally humid country... | |

I don't know if "that degree" is considered "smelling super bad"... I just can't stand ANY smell... if I can keep myself odour-free and I am a WOMAN (ya know what I mean...), then this guy has "some" serious problems... I wouldn't shag him unprotected even if someone threaten to shoot me!

Posted: 3/21/2005 9:49:16 AM | I never really had an opinion as far as piercings.....then I was ummmmmm lucky enough to meet someone that had some very interesting places pierced.....and now I think in certain locations they are VERY sexy and alot of fun. 
As for myself other then my ears I haven't ventured out to get any other piercings and it's not that I am opposed as much as I am a little too sensitive in some areas and just don't think it would suit me in other areas.....lol. | |
