He took 6 pics and charged me $400 for a few minutes work. None of the pictures really looked like me. Terrible, terrible unprofessional job. But I posted them anyway until I decided to simply use a throw away camera, and in July 2006 you see what I took with a cheap camera. No excuse for women or men not to post pics. It’s not difficult at all. The difficult part is making sure you don’t get ripped off by some so called photographer. | |

If you need to lie about your income to get the girl, trust me, she's not the one you want. She's not looking at you anyway. You need to be on your own in a grown up situation to know how to deal with grown up people. Not necessarily saying that having a roommate is not being grown up. It's just economically easier on some people. I have my own place, but it doesn't make me a better person just because I do. There are lots of @**holes with their own places. | |

Posted: 12/6/2006 8:30:44 PM | i saw one profile that had obviously outdated pictures. this man said he's 30 years old but i swear the pics look circa 1970. the hair, the clothes, even that weird color from pics of the 70s was apparent. when i brought this to his attention he neither confirmed or denied their authenticity but simply asked WHY i would think that. needless to say, the email was deleted. People just put up the real you, if someone cant accept you the way you are then f**k it! Some will, some wont, so what, who's next.... happy fishing! | |

Who cares if idiots put up fake pics? Let them live out their little online fantasy. Its not like they will ever make any type of long term emotion relationship out of thier fun little make beleive world. Besides....if someone is dumb enough to fall for a fake profile its really their own fault. | |

But admit to having the bucket put over my head several times. Like the Liz Taylor look alike, she could have mentioned the train wreck she was still recovering from, and the extra 150 lbs due to depression. The photos I place in my profile are so bad that, well there just bad, just bad enough, I have no explaining to do other than I need help taking pictures. but it puts a twist on things and is unexpected and more than honest and I do think out of the box. | |

to add to the whole double profile thing and fake pix, has anyone else noticed that there are many exact same profiles here, with the exception of the name, and pic? I have had one guy contact me on 2 different profiles, one with a pic, one without. Same city, same witty comments, and when I confronted him about it, he deleted both profiles for a month, and now they are back, running thru my matches. | |

I agree going back, I mean i was checkin my matches and there was this goodlookin blonde so i started reading her profile and when i looked back at her pic it dawned on me it was a pic of gwen steffani!! i mean it's really a pissoff cause it makes you wonder what the hell they're hiding, you know if I can put my ugly mug up here why can't they!!
They are dishonest.
One must question how many other lies are on their profile.

WOmen always say that the personality is primary, well I am finding out. I got emails when I posted my pictures and now I get none now. lol
That proves to me that women are in this for just looks. I once posted the pictures of a real handsome friend of mine and it does not matter what the profile says, tons and tons of emails were received.
