| N.Y. Lower Westchester Posted: 10/17/2006 5:38:22 PM | | Why don't we just pick a Saturday night and meet in the bar at the Radisson Hotel in New Rochelle? | |

| N.Y. Lower Westchester Posted: 10/26/2006 7:27:40 PM | Sorry all, haven't been checking the thread Didn't this originally start out as a Valentine's Day event? We're only in late October and have a few more months to plan this. Who the heck knows where any of us will be by then. Either way, I can check out some places, but it would be a lot more fun if we could round up a few more attendees don't you think? | |

| N.Y. Lower Westchester Posted: 11/6/2006 10:36:49 PM | Y'all should check out the NYC Party for PoF thread. Now they are talking about the Radisson in New Rochelle for Saturday night.
I won't be able to be there, though. My band is recording in the Bronx on Saturday.

| N.Y. Lower Westchester Posted: 11/7/2006 1:52:55 PM | Hey copper. I have two siblings and a brother-in-law in law enforcement in Westchester. I've been to Rory Dolan's a few times. I noticed a mixed crowd. There are other places in Westchester to hang out for older crowd. You would probably be too young actually LOL. I know of one place in Valhalla, one in Hawthrone and one in Elmsford. There's also a place right in Yonkers called Totono's in the Ramada Inn. I will be there this Friday as my friend is deejaying. Let me know what you think. Send me a message directly as I always forget to check this thread Anyone else want to come check it out? | |

| N.Y. Lower Westchester Posted: 11/8/2006 5:30:05 AM | | Yes, it's on Tuckahoe Road. I've never been there, but it can't be too hard to find. | |
|
| N.Y. Lower Westchester Posted: 11/8/2006 5:47:35 PM | Hi.. i think there is quite a good choice of places for older folks to socialize and have a drink or two. could suggest a couple if anyone was interested in meeting up?

| N.Y. Lower Westchester Posted: 11/9/2006 5:47:44 AM | Bronxgirl:
There's a place right of the BRP in Hawthorne which would be great for you. There's karoke on Friday nights and dinner/dancing on Saturday nights for an older crowd. Median age is probably early 50's. I've attached the link if you're interested. I've known the owner since I'm 11 years old. Andy and his wife, Robin are great people.

| N.Y. Lower Westchester Posted: 11/9/2006 9:35:30 AM | | Is the Ramada on Tuckahoe Road the old Holiday Inn or is it elsewhere? I am confused. And are you guys going to be there this Saturday? | |
|
| N.Y. Lower Westchester Posted: 11/9/2006 12:25:00 PM | | See messages 35 & 36 from this forum. I don't know who "you guys" are, but I will be there along with two other friends not part of POF. Our friend will be DJing. Probably won't be there until after 9:30/9:45. | |
|
| N.Y. Lower Westchester Posted: 11/9/2006 10:05:33 PM | | Ok, Friday night after 930 is a distinct possibility but no promises. Is there a dress code or anything that you know of? | |
|
| N.Y. Lower Westchester Posted: 11/10/2006 6:05:12 AM | I've never been there griffx, so I don't know but I could ask my friend. Chances are it's no jeans, sneakers or cutoff shirts - use your best judgment. If you're looking for me, I'll be near the dj with a blond woman. If none of us connect tonight, let's plan on another night in the near future | |

| N.Y. Lower Westchester Posted: 11/10/2006 11:09:36 PM | I didn't make it. Was exhausted after band practice. The good news is that we finally found a drummer. After all this work putting ads online for one and so forth, the drummer for the band who followed us in the rehearsal room came early, sat in with us, and decided to join our band.
Sort of like doing Plenty of Fish, five other pay dating sites, and then meeting the love of your life in a supermarket or something...
|
| N.Y. Lower Westchester Posted: 11/11/2006 12:39:03 PM | Not a problem. My main goal was to go see my friend who was djing and I did. It was an older crowd and geared to dancers believe it or not. I'd prefer a place that was more laid back (pool table, bar, darts, karaoke), etc. Only stayed for 45 minutes. We'll have to find an alternative. | |

| N.Y. Lower Westchester Posted: 11/11/2006 8:45:47 PM | Ok guys ...have just read the thread. Did it die or...did I miss something?
Is there a POF meeting in the near future? (1111/06) today
|
| N.Y. Lower Westchester Posted: 11/12/2006 10:50:00 AM | No, you really didn't miss anything. I'm not sure this will ever take off as it seems there's very little interest. Oh well. Back to the drawing board. | |

| N.Y. Lower Westchester get together Posted: 11/12/2006 4:30:14 PM | | Holding a get together in White Plains or the Tarrytown Double Tree (was the Hilton) would work for me...matter of fact, my Tarrytown apt. is available for free for a few hours (it can hold 8-10 comfortably) if you like.
